I don’t usually care for the German DDs but I think this one is powerful. I watched a couple reviews after I made this one and I noticed some of my colleagues are not as thrilled with it. But it’s really solid, I think. Especially the sonar/smoke combo. It’s basically god-tier sonar for a DD.
I dunno...as my favorite ship line in the game, the German destroyers are dear to me...but I didn't really get on with Maass...it's a good ship, and I had some great games in her, but the 150s are so much more satisfying... Personal preference I suppose...great review, though...enjoy playing it! 😁😎
The 150’s only get 1/6 HE pen though, while the Z-35’s 128’s are getting special 1/4 Pen (31-mm) ! Thus, you can shred basically all Cruisers & Destroyers you come up against, which is an important additional bonus she can lean on 😏
Xarkun you should try the Z-39 : ) Its a mean T6 DD with the same hydro and concealment if you use the build. Now the Z-39 has 150mm guns and slow turret traverse of course. It has a nice Hp like her Sister Z-35. Z-39 does have the Engine boost btw if you worried about that.
@@e.s.5529 Z-35 guns are little faster firing over the Z-39's since there 128mm. Z-39's guns are 150mm and has lil less torp range base then the Z-35 its comes down to pref. Each ship has there little perks I would say over the other slight differences but its upto you on the call. I will get the Z-35 for my own collection that would add another ship at I could use if I had a bad game with my Z-39 for example. Only two major differences besides the Z-39 having engine boost and the little faster reload on guns.
Funny, I’ve read 3 reviews on this so far, one great( you), one so so, and one “ not for me( tbull). I’ve been burnt by several so so premium DDs. I feel like they should at least be as good as the tech tree ship. Not Yudachi, or Kamikaze good, but similar to tech tree with maybe a gimmick or extra perk. I was going to be a firm no on this, but now you have me reconsidering! Once you know what you’re doing, a good skipper can be successful in any DD. I’ve even had some great games in that horrible Italian DD! DON’T buy that thing! Nice review, thanks!
I see you didn't use the guns as much as you should have on this hybrid. like against the pensa when he was dodging your torps. That cruiser's guns turns like a brick, even more so when it is turning and you are aiming.
It's competitive if you go full stealth but there are comparable ships. My Le Terrible is 4.9km and Vaquelin is 4.8km with max camo. And my Bey and Swirsky aren't maxxed yet. Z 35 is basically a better Maas (Premium better than tech tree counterpart, not TECHNICALLY pay to win but...). It has more HP (upwards of 3k), better sonar and torp range, virtually identical guns. IF you can live without the Engine Boost.
I was going to buy the Blysiwicia B but I got it in the Black Friday crate in the Treasure Hunt so I bought this boat & I'm glad I did!

got a question ..whats the big difference between this and the 39. I have the 39 ..do I even need the 35 ...is it even worth the cheddar?

Yeah. I said as much about the Italian one in the review I did. It’s not good. This this is pretty powerful IMO. The long range sonar is really potent

Yeah. I should’ve used them more. I intend to play this thing a lot more though and make at least another vid where I can really dig into the guns.
