I started reading when I was 7ish. I was a goalie at handball (kinda like soccer but you throw the ball) and we had a tournament and they didn't properly secure the goal (and I was dumb and jumped and wanted to hang from it like I always did...) and it fell over and landed on my foot... my coach got me a book to read for the time that I couldn't play and I never stopped reading since then ^^

Is it just me or does anyone else have parents that almost only let you get books from the library, or if you could ever go to the book store you only are allowed to get one book

My parents are meh. I save up my own money to get my books and that's how it works
They're not really telling me that i should only get one book, but i always do since i don't have a job it's kinda awkward to binge buy knowing that i'm not paying for it😂
I love reading but I go to the library because I need to save up for a car and university and a house. Plus I don't have too much room in my bedroom

My parents wouldn't let me get a book over like 10 or 15 dollars and we ALWAYS went to the library! Idk how people always go to b&n! I'd I buy a book it's probably from Amazon or Half Priced Books

My country doesnt sell a lot of used novels..they dont sell at all jdjsjsm ig not many ppl read...finding discount books are hard enough...everything is full priced. If there’s used book for sale i’d go for useed book immediately bc i love old book smell and looks akjskska as long as it’s not jacked up. Being a reader in small asain country is an expensive hobby 🗿🗿🗿🗿
Half Priced books is also a great place to find used book in really good condition, I haven't been to a barns and nobles since I found out about it.
Where I live there's a used bookstore that used to be an old house. There's probably at least 4 levels and every room has books in it. Even the kitchen which is where the cook books and books alike are. They are a little more pricier than any other used bookstore but still cheaper than brand new.
If there is ever a time I can live through Regan while book shopping, I WILL TAKE IT.

If you love Hamilton, I really recommend I, Eliza Hamilton by Susan Holloway Scott. It follows Eliza, and it was so interesting and immersive to read from her first person perspective. It’s very thoroughly researched and very much based off of the letters Eliza and Alexander Hamilton exchanged. I’ve never listened to or seen Hamilton, but as a History lover, I loved it.

Just got back from B&N to pick up the collectors edition of Red Queen and a paperback of Vicious and almost every book you got piqued my interest but I had to practice self control so I'll live vicariously through you haha I bought Heartless a while ago and have yet to start it, but I was hoping it would turn out to be the Queen of Hearts prequel story. The Queen's Rising is my favourite book of 2018 so far and made it too my faves of all time list too! Read it as soon as you can Reagan! You will love it! (We seem to have similar taste in books so...) And I am not ashamed to admit I have multiple copies of my Tamora Pierce books cause I love them so much and love the different covers. That was an AWESOME book shopping blog video! I would definitely love to watch more of your book shopping videos. I also went book to Barnes and noble and I had so many books that I wanted but I was had so much restraint just like Tiernan and I narrowed down all the books down to 2 books. Both Rick Riordan books. I got Percy Jackson 5 the last Olympian and The Kane Chronicles book 2 The Throne of Fire new cover because it looked so pretty and it had an extra story in the back. 😊😊😊
