I miss days like this before i had kids. Spending time to shower and do makeup, not getting kids in and out of car seats in the pouring rain, spending all day at a bookstore and reading uninterrupted... Right now my kid is screaming, i look like a troll that lives under a bridge, and i have spent the entire day trying to read 2 chapters of my book 😂
It will pass. They get older then there will be more time for books and you can take them with you to get books. I pretend im hiding in my bookstore and .my 4yo son has to find me. He loves it and finds books he wants. Hang in there!

I love your casual vlogs! It’s so fun to see you living your daily life, not just bookish content (which is also great don’t get me wrong).
Yall Holly black is one of the many favorite writers I have come to love. I have only read one of her books but the descriptions on every other one of her books draws me to them and makes me want to read them! If you haven't read it, I do very much recommend The Coldest Girl In Cold Town!! It is amazing and I never wanted to put it down when I first read it.
The closest Barnes and noble to me is almost an hour away. I love reading at bookstores while it is raining. Also so true about how no force of Nature can stop New Yorkers.
