If your question is about the closeness of their lineage, then that's another matter worthy of research. But I can tell you this: my clan in Kenya is known as Kanyakwar. The Padhola of Uganda are closer to us than most of the Kenyan Luo clans we neighbour .The Nyakwar are the descendants of Owiny who was Adhola's younger brother.
KP you could have complicated the question a little by asking, what if the father is not the blood father of the boy? luos keep children whose mother came with as a secret, until when the customs assiciated with the first born come into play eg. that building of simba or go dala.

Many of us in Eritrea have relations with ancient Nubia. The kingdom of Aksum and the Beja kingdoms of Eritrea bordered Nubia.

In Uganda, the closest dialect to Dhupadhola is Dhu'Alur. The Siaya Dhuluo is almost the same as Dhupadhola
