Given how potential works in the post Z era, being human is no longer a massive Nerf as it was in Z due too power creeps and rectcon training potential shown by the fact that krillin and Master Roshi were relative to base Goku who was massively more powerful than SSJ3 Goku at the end of the Buu saga.

This is just one of many times training becomes a crutch for one character to get to another part of the story without blowing up just looking at the opposing threat. There are definitely more.

Depends on how we define "human" Goku. If were talking in the most recent arc he wakes up as a human then he only loses his Super Saiyan forms, so Kaio-Ken, god ki, and Ultra Instinct are all still accessible. He'd be a bit weaker baseline and no Zenkai's or increased endurance but he'd still would be able to destroy Unvierses. Now if were talking from the start that's questionable, as you mentioned Grandpa Gohan would still be alive and Goku would be better trained but anything that reaches past OG Dragon Ball is unknown and if anything Goku has a good chance of dying and staying dead in OG Dragon Ball.

When he reincarnated into Uub that godly energy was kept, showing an example that humans can use god ki, not to mention how the gods of destruction were all at one point mortals and they have godly energy so I'm certain it's accessible to all mortals you just need a ritual like the Super Saiyan god one or the training to unlock it.
Yeah I feel Super Goku wouldn't lose that much, since he's past the poijt of relying on super sayian forms, even if SSG and SSB go off of Super Sayian he can just recreate it with God ki
There is also the possibility of Goku probably not wanting to fight as much as he usually wants to. This could not only change him physically but mentally so he could become more patient and serious by not having his Sayian blood boiling for battle constantly and maybe be able to use Ultra instinct better by being purely human, this is all speculation on my part though.

He loses his saiyan abilities, but god ki and ultra instinct are not saiyan abilities. 😅 ultimate gohan is not a saiyan ability. Gohan beast is also not a saiyan ability. 😅 those are 2 transformations goku can also achieve. And officially speaking, beast transformation is not limited to saiyans in xenoverse 2. Humans can have it to. So a human goku will be able to achieve the ultimate transformation and beast mode like his son. Afterall even gohan stated in the manga that he wanted to pursue his human powers.

The problem with human Goku and UI is, they show these power boosts do in fact put a strain on the fighter (it usually doesn't come into play in an actual fight but they due mention it a few times) to the point of potential death; when Kaioken was introduced, when Gohan got SSJ Goku talks about it, when Goku uses Kaiken with blue they mention the risks. If Goku were to not have the other forms to basically train his resilience/act as a buffer to this the massive boost that UI gives might just kill him outright. This also brings up a big problem the 'saiyan problem', due to the overwhelming multiplier from their forms, it leaves 1 of 3 scenarios: 1) Base form is incredibly weak so that the other characters aren't made completely irrelevant by the transformations, 2) base form at least on par with other characters making every non-saiyan is made completely irrelevant since either the enemy is so strong that they would be dissolved into nothingness by being breathed on (10 billion times stronger is an unfathomable gap) or 3) inconsistent writing since someone like Jiren being able to use less than 1/100,000,000th of his strength is bonkers never mind Gold Frieza who's new form is hard to control and is out for blood only using 1/10,000,000th of his strength especially when only 1/50th (minimum) would destroy the entire universe. TL;DR Power scaling in DB is dumb, there is a reason power levels and scaling were abandoned for rule of cool. Fans take it more seriously then Toriyama ever did.
I don’t think Naruto would beat Goku equal stats but i think his sage mode and experience fighting people with eyes that grant them precognition has prepared Naruto to fight ultra instinct better than most characters in fiction.
False, "human Goku" would still have "God Ki" he just wouldn't have access to his God Forms anymore due to no longer having saiyan biology. Goku would have something very similar if not the exact same thing as "Saiyan Beyond God" state where they can utilize God Ki without having to undergo a transformation.
What I love most about this video is the concept. If Goku loses Super Saiyan, even as an earthling he should still technically be able to power up even if he doesn’t transform. Even as an earthling, Goku should be able to perform at 50 times multiplier. We translate to Super Self. If you will. The Zenkai Boost is not exclusive to the Saiyans alone. The Earthling Z fighters too, have this capability. That’s why Krillin got Stronger too, after receiving a senzu bean and healed by Dendè. Earthlings and Saiyans have very similar biology. Why am I sayin all this? The Earthling Z fighters should have the ability to transform thru a power up. No physical damage on the outside. No physical change on the outside, however they increase the inner potential 30x multiplier. Because Goku is exceptional whether he’s an earthling or a saying. He still gets to 50 times multiplier. The difference is he doesn’t get any of the negative weaknesses of the super Saiyan multiplier, but he inherently games all of the strength he still have to train on top of that to maintain the form as well as increased the stamina. So essentially earthling Goku doesn’t lose any power. I always thought this was a very interesting concept for the Earthling Z fighters, because they continue to surpass benchmarks of strength feat and power levels that Goku had previously created. This shows their inner potential to not only surpass the main character, but to exceed him by an extremely huge margin. This is a great vid.

Ultra instinct is an ability that manifests as a transformation in the case of Saiyans. Earthling Goku would not transform into Ultra Instinct, rather he'd just use it in his base form, so his only known form. Goku does use the ability in forms beside the Saiyan UI transformations anyway The reasoning for UI being a Saiyan transformation is probably just that each transformation responds to a particular characteristic that just doesn't result in a transformation for most other beings. Usage of god ki results in the god form, yet a character such as Kami didn't transform from (presumably, as per his title) becoming God. Anger, trauma and such result in Super Saiyan, god ki and said anger result in Blue, Rosé results from the former combined with the Supreme Kai status, and again, Ultra Instinct forms appear from the (initial) usage of the ability
Goku and vegeta had access to god ki without needing super saiyan god or blue, "Saiyan Beyond God" is an explicit progression of goku and vegeta where they utilize god ki in their base form. Goku would still retain all the power he has currently besides his saiyan forms, meaning he'd still have access to UI and MUI & kaioken (Wasn't disagreeing with the video but you made it seem like the only reason why goku had god ki was because he had his saiyan god forms, i was just clarifying that god ki is more central to him than just a form, the form is the game and god ki is the mod)

It's funny because Goku was originally just a human with a monkey tail. Essentially, he was like a werewolf. A lot of people don't know this, but Goku being a saiyan is a retcon. He wasn't conceived as such. Saiyans were thought up during the making of Dragon Ball Z's events.
I personally don’t think he would lose his God ki if he was wished to be a human, especially if he’s keeping his training experience from ALL of his mentors. He most likely just loses his saiyan forms and that’s all.

I think one thing that should have been talked more about are Zenkai boosts. Lots of Goku's Power came from near death experiences as a Saiyan, so I'd personally think he'd lose those Zenkai boosts if he became human. Edit: Another example of this is Buu. If you turned Buuhan into a Human, I wouldn't expect that resulting human to have the full power of Buu plus an absorbed Gohan. Just like how Buu reincarnated as Uub isn't super strong yet.

I agree with this assessment because it would miss the point of Goku surpassing all the prodigies and godly beings or monsters if it was "because he's a saiyan and saiyans are the best". That's Vegeta's style, not Goku's. However in the current day with new mindsets from Vegeta, Broly, etc. they would surpass Goku THANKS TO Goku changing their mindsets, especially Vegeta. I think Black Frieza is a perfect example of what happens when one of the extremely overpowered mega-ultra-terrifying prodigies actually listens to Goku and trains like he does. It's a wake-up call that despite everything Goku has done, nearly everyone in the story has had a head start over him in the strength department.
Goku would not get zenkai boost after the fights against Tao Pai Pai and King Picolo, but he would have better starting skills since grampa Gohan would trained him more before he would continue his training with master Roshi, and later with Korin and Kami, if he would die he would train with King Kain brfore his revival with Dragon Balls and he could train in room of Spirit and Time as well in gravity room for the limited time, and at the end all Kai could relese his latend potential ... Human Goku would be powerfull as SSJ1 Goku ... Still much more powerfull then other anime charcters in this video.
Humans in DB at some point are some overpowered for other franchises. In first DB Tenchinhan, Yamcha and Chaotzu are running on highway and the guy in ferrari is speeding as fast as them until they decided to leave him behind at speed that looked supersonic. I know Gojo is superfast, but for DB Humans it is just a beginning.
For scenario 1, god ki isn’t directly tied to Goku being a Saiyan, sure you can argue that’s HOW he learned to use it, but Vegeta did the same through traditional training instead of a ritual. Goku would still have god ki, just not any of the forms that fuse that with his Saiyan abilities like SSB or Super Saiyan Red. Ultra Instinct is still considered a transformation that uses god ki, and Goku would be able to use it. Thats not to say it’s inherently tied to it as Master Roshi didn’t have god ki but came pretty close to using it once, however the way Goku used it, he does tap into god Ki in the process. So we can assume that he wouldn’t lose it just because he’s no longer a Saiyan
Are you talking about when they fought Buu? Because they specifically say Debura is equal to Cell. They have to use SS2 to beat him. They are not as powerful as Cell in base, probably equal in SS1 and way beyond in SS2, but no where near in base. As for Super. The whole beginning plot was that they hit a plateau in power. SSG allowed them to go past and pushed them into UI, Ego, and Beast. So they are probably stronger than Cell in SS1, but again not equal in base.

In the first scenario where he'd be wished to be a human, Goku would still have god ki, he just can't transform with it, it would just exist in his body in the same way it does with uub, he'd still be able to use it. Also, he'd probably use kaioken to a higher degree if he wished to because there's no stress induced by ssj.
You forgot one thing, saiyans get DRAMATICALLY much stronger after a near-death situation, and considering how many times goku was in a near death situation, he basically got immensely stronger. Also it really depends what you define as human, if he straight up suddenly turns human he can use different techniques n etc, if he was born a human he would be much weaker
He wouldn't have the UI form but he would have god ki. Saiyans have an innate ability to transform in order to use certain powers more effectively. He would still be able to use the UI technique as Roshi does, and he would still be able to use god ki as beerus does, he just wouldn't have the corresponding transformations that allow him to do it more effectively
I think Kaoiken would be Human Goku's Super Saiyan. If he continues to train and forge Kaioken, I think he would reach new levels of Kaioken. Like maybe, during his fight with Frieza, he might go Kaioken x50
Goku without super Saiyan forms would HAVE to focus more on his skills and abilities Meaning he would probably unlock UI A LOT SOONER because he would be revisiting old masters and there lessons and almost every master he has ever had gave him a piece of UI... He would focus more on his skills as a fighter and his instincts would be sharper so essentially he would be like tournament of power roshi. Significantly weaker but more skilled. He would also learn more abilities than cannon Goku as he revisits yardrat and learns spirit fusion clones and size change. Which would be insane with kioken.. imagine fighting like 30 clones of Goku all using kioken and one charges a spirit bomb... This version of Goku would excel in throwing spirit bombs better than cannon Goku because clones would be distracting and holding back his enemies with solar flares and kioken flurries he wouldn't be left wide open and could actually use it as a starter move... Goku would be WAY more op in his attack range but just a lot less potential in his base form... I imagine by return of f saga Goku would have a god ki aura but no form which would heal him like God does allowing him higher forms of kioken with less risk and I would also imagine his spirit would be significantly better than cannon Gokus because his Saiyan instincts don't exist and he would be a lot calmer as a person. So I'ma say 1000 clones with solar flares mafubas and spirit bombs with instincts akin to the hit saga Goku where he dodged Bulma on accident. Riiiight at the precipice of UI. And once he actually fights hit himself for the first time I feel like it would push him into UI where he finally gets a SIGNIFICANT strength boost... Now imagine 1000 UI Goku clones... Bros a MENACE

I actually think the loss of zenkai boosts would drastically reduce his scaling between arcs. I think Krillin-esqe power would be what we'd be looking at, since they were comparable early in life. You could give Krillin a debuff because of giving up training and embracing family life, but I still think that's the ballpark. Then it would be a matter of his body surviving long enough to give him the time to figure out UI.

@@thatguy779 Well Goku might be somewhat closer to the other humans, and start inventing his OWN techniques too, possibly even learning magic down the line. He could still keep his love for battle but without the saiyan "honor", so he'd probably make more "smart" choices, like not letting his foes reach their full power, or using the dragon balls for more useful things like a bag of infinite senzu beans because his friends have LITERALLY been dying since childhood to strong opponents, he should of planned that sooner..

The transformations in dbz looks more like a flat buff than a multiplication tbh. The author doesn't know the implications of multiply. What I am trying to say, nothing would change to goku, he would just take longer to be on this level, he would also use de dragon balls like piccolo to skip things, he is a lot smarter than people give him credits for. Remember, krillin was base goku level in super, a goku that was strongger than ssj3 goku at the end of z. DB super pretty much nerfed the power of saiyans transformation.
you dont seem to understand the UI Goku form, if Goku becomes a human and even dare to use this form, it'll tare him apart just like how it did before when he fought Jiren so Goku have to retrain his newer weaker body to with stand the Omi version first, in order to use that Angel form and that could still be a problem cause like Whis had said before, "NO NORMAL "MORTOL" CAN WIELD THIS FORM"
Goku without any Saiyan abilities is pretty much Tien with Whis's training and Kaioken. And you _know_ with enough training, human Goku would absolutely push Kaioken to crazy high multipliers. Kaioken x1,000 would make the loss of his normal SSJ forms irrelevant. Yeah, that number sounds insane, but Kaioken x20 also sounded insane back when just Kaioken x4 had a 50% chance of turning Goku's liver and gallbladder into an origami crane. As for UI and God Ki, it is confirmed in the manga that UI and UI Omen as power-boosting forms are purely a Saiyan thing, and that UI proper is a techique that does not alter the user's appearance. And it is also shown that Goku and Vegeta can still utilize God Ki in base, just to a lesser extent than in SSJG/SSJB/UI. So Goku would focus on mastering the use of God Ki in his base form, which would mitigate most of the power drop between base and SSJG. So in the end, you still get God Ki amped Goku using UI infused Kaioken times big ahh number, making him barely any weaker than he is now.
One thing you forgot is that ui isn’t a form its a state of being, the angels themselves are strong not because they have ui equipped but they have ui equipped because they are strong, Saiyans are just broken and turn everything into a transformation so its a form for them

Depends on how we define "human" Goku.
If were talking in the most recent arc he wakes up as a human then he only loses his Super Saiyan forms, so Kaio-Ken, god ki, and Ultra Instinct are all still accessible. He'd be a bit weaker baseline and no Zenkai's or increased endurance but he'd still would be able to destroy Unvierses.
Now if were talking from the start that's questionable, as you mentioned Grandpa Gohan would still be alive and Goku would be better trained but anything that reaches past OG Dragon Ball is unknown and if anything Goku has a good chance of dying and staying dead in OG Dragon Ball.

This could not only change him physically but mentally so he could become more patient and serious by not having his Sayian blood boiling for battle constantly and maybe be able to use Ultra instinct better by being purely human, this is all speculation on my part though.

Gohan beast is also not a saiyan ability. 😅 those are 2 transformations goku can also achieve. And officially speaking, beast transformation is not limited to saiyans in xenoverse 2. Humans can have it to.

You should do some power scaling for the filler other world tournament arc, I love some of those characters like olibu froug, arqua, and of course pikkon
The problem with human Goku and UI is, they show these power boosts do in fact put a strain on the fighter (it usually doesn't come into play in an actual fight but they due mention it a few times) to the point of potential death; when Kaioken was introduced, when Gohan got SSJ Goku talks about it, when Goku uses Kaiken with blue they mention the risks. If Goku were to not have the other forms to basically train his resilience/act as a buffer to this the massive boost that UI gives might just kill him outright.
This also brings up a big problem the 'saiyan problem', due to the overwhelming multiplier from their forms, it leaves 1 of 3 scenarios: 1) Base form is incredibly weak so that the other characters aren't made completely irrelevant by the transformations, 2) base form at least on par with other characters making every non-saiyan is made completely irrelevant since either the enemy is so strong that they would be dissolved into nothingness by being breathed on (10 billion times stronger is an unfathomable gap) or 3) inconsistent writing since someone like Jiren being able to use less than 1/100,000,000th of his strength is bonkers never mind Gold Frieza who's new form is hard to control and is out for blood only using 1/10,000,000th of his strength especially when only 1/50th (minimum) would destroy the entire universe.
TL;DR Power scaling in DB is dumb, there is a reason power levels and scaling were abandoned for rule of cool. Fans take it more seriously then Toriyama ever did.

False, "human Goku" would still have "God Ki" he just wouldn't have access to his God Forms anymore due to no longer having saiyan biology.
Goku would have something very similar if not the exact same thing as "Saiyan Beyond God" state where they can utilize God Ki without having to undergo a transformation.
What I love most about this video is the concept. If Goku loses Super Saiyan, even as an earthling he should still technically be able to power up even if he doesn’t transform.
Even as an earthling, Goku should be able to perform at 50 times multiplier. We translate to Super Self. If you will.
The Zenkai Boost is not exclusive to the Saiyans alone. The Earthling Z fighters too, have this capability. That’s why Krillin got Stronger too, after receiving a senzu bean and healed by Dendè.
Earthlings and Saiyans have very similar biology. Why am I sayin all this? The Earthling Z fighters should have the ability to transform thru a power up. No physical damage on the outside. No physical change on the outside, however they increase the inner potential 30x multiplier.
Because Goku is exceptional whether he’s an earthling or a saying. He still gets to 50 times multiplier. The difference is he doesn’t get any of the negative weaknesses of the super Saiyan multiplier, but he inherently games all of the strength he still have to train on top of that to maintain the form as well as increased the stamina. So essentially earthling Goku doesn’t lose any power.
I always thought this was a very interesting concept for the Earthling Z fighters, because they continue to surpass benchmarks of strength feat and power levels that Goku had previously created. This shows their inner potential to not only surpass the main character, but to exceed him by an extremely huge margin. This is a great vid.

Ultra instinct is an ability that manifests as a transformation in the case of Saiyans. Earthling Goku would not transform into Ultra Instinct, rather he'd just use it in his base form, so his only known form. Goku does use the ability in forms beside the Saiyan UI transformations anyway
The reasoning for UI being a Saiyan transformation is probably just that each transformation responds to a particular characteristic that just doesn't result in a transformation for most other beings. Usage of god ki results in the god form, yet a character such as Kami didn't transform from (presumably, as per his title) becoming God. Anger, trauma and such result in Super Saiyan, god ki and said anger result in Blue, Rosé results from the former combined with the Supreme Kai status, and again, Ultra Instinct forms appear from the (initial) usage of the ability

You called UI a "transformation" it's a technique and it has been done by other dragon ball characters who aren't human as well.
Goku and vegeta had access to god ki without needing super saiyan god or blue, "Saiyan Beyond God" is an explicit progression of goku and vegeta where they utilize god ki in their base form. Goku would still retain all the power he has currently besides his saiyan forms, meaning he'd still have access to UI and MUI & kaioken

A lot of people don't know this, but Goku being a saiyan is a retcon. He wasn't conceived as such. Saiyans were thought up during the making of Dragon Ball Z's events.
I personally don’t think he would lose his God ki if he was wished to be a human, especially if he’s keeping his training experience from ALL of his mentors. He most likely just loses his saiyan forms and that’s all.

I think one thing that should have been talked more about are Zenkai boosts. Lots of Goku's Power came from near death experiences as a Saiyan, so I'd personally think he'd lose those Zenkai boosts if he became human.
Edit: Another example of this is Buu. If you turned Buuhan into a Human, I wouldn't expect that resulting human to have the full power of Buu plus an absorbed Gohan. Just like how Buu reincarnated as Uub isn't super strong yet.

I agree with this assessment because it would miss the point of Goku surpassing all the prodigies and godly beings or monsters if it was "because he's a saiyan and saiyans are the best". That's Vegeta's style, not Goku's. However in the current day with new mindsets from Vegeta, Broly, etc. they would surpass Goku THANKS TO Goku changing their mindsets, especially Vegeta. I think Black Frieza is a perfect example of what happens when one of the extremely overpowered mega-ultra-terrifying prodigies actually listens to Goku and trains like he does. It's a wake-up call that despite everything Goku has done, nearly everyone in the story has had a head start over him in the strength department.

Humans in DB at some point are some overpowered for other franchises. In first DB Tenchinhan, Yamcha and Chaotzu are running on highway and the guy in ferrari is speeding as fast as them until they decided to leave him behind at speed that looked supersonic. I know Gojo is superfast, but for DB Humans it is just a beginning.
For scenario 1, god ki isn’t directly tied to Goku being a Saiyan, sure you can argue that’s HOW he learned to use it, but Vegeta did the same through traditional training instead of a ritual. Goku would still have god ki, just not any of the forms that fuse that with his Saiyan abilities like SSB or Super Saiyan Red. Ultra Instinct is still considered a transformation that uses god ki, and Goku would be able to use it. Thats not to say it’s inherently tied to it as Master Roshi didn’t have god ki but came pretty close to using it once, however the way Goku used it, he does tap into god Ki in the process. So we can assume that he wouldn’t lose it just because he’s no longer a Saiyan

Are you talking about when they fought Buu? Because they specifically say Debura is equal to Cell. They have to use SS2 to beat him. They are not as powerful as Cell in base, probably equal in SS1 and way beyond in SS2, but no where near in base.
As for Super. The whole beginning plot was that they hit a plateau in power. SSG allowed them to go past and pushed them into UI, Ego, and Beast. So they are probably stronger than Cell in SS1, but again not equal in base.

You forgot one thing, saiyans get DRAMATICALLY much stronger after a near-death situation, and considering how many times goku was in a near death situation, he basically got immensely stronger. Also it really depends what you define as human, if he straight up suddenly turns human he can use different techniques n etc, if he was born a human he would be much weaker

Meaning he would probably unlock UI A LOT SOONER because he would be revisiting old masters and there lessons and almost every master he has ever had gave him a piece of UI... He would focus more on his skills as a fighter and his instincts would be sharper so essentially he would be like tournament of power roshi. Significantly weaker but more skilled. He would also learn more abilities than cannon Goku as he revisits yardrat and learns spirit fusion clones and size change. Which would be insane with kioken.. imagine fighting like 30 clones of Goku all using kioken and one charges a spirit bomb... This version of Goku would excel in throwing spirit bombs better than cannon Goku because clones would be distracting and holding back his enemies with solar flares and kioken flurries he wouldn't be left wide open and could actually use it as a starter move... Goku would be WAY more op in his attack range but just a lot less potential in his base form... I imagine by return of f saga Goku would have a god ki aura but no form which would heal him like God does allowing him higher forms of kioken with less risk and I would also imagine his spirit would be significantly better than cannon Gokus because his Saiyan instincts don't exist and he would be a lot calmer as a person. So I'ma say 1000 clones with solar flares mafubas and spirit bombs with instincts akin to the hit saga Goku where he dodged Bulma on accident. Riiiight at the precipice of UI. I actually think the loss of zenkai boosts would drastically reduce his scaling between arcs. I think Krillin-esqe power would be what we'd be looking at, since they were comparable early in life. You could give Krillin a debuff because of giving up training and embracing family life, but I still think that's the ballpark. Then it would be a matter of his body surviving long enough to give him the time to figure out UI.

The transformations in dbz looks more like a flat buff than a multiplication tbh. The author doesn't know the implications of multiply. What I am trying to say, nothing would change to goku, he would just take longer to be on this level, he would also use de dragon balls like piccolo to skip things, he is a lot smarter than people give him credits for. Goku without any Saiyan abilities is pretty much Tien with Whis's training and Kaioken. And you _know_ with enough training, human Goku would absolutely push Kaioken to crazy high multipliers. Kaioken x1,000 would make the loss of his normal SSJ forms irrelevant. Yeah, that number sounds insane, but Kaioken x20 also sounded insane back when just Kaioken x4 had a 50% chance of turning Goku's liver and gallbladder into an origami crane.
As for UI and God Ki, it is confirmed in the manga that UI and UI Omen as power-boosting forms are purely a Saiyan thing, and that UI proper is a techique that does not alter the user's appearance. And it is also shown that Goku and Vegeta can still utilize God Ki in base, just to a lesser extent than in SSJG/SSJB/UI. So Goku would focus on mastering the use of God Ki in his base form, which would mitigate most of the power drop between base and SSJG. So in the end, you still get God Ki amped Goku using UI infused Kaioken times big ahh number, making him barely any weaker than he is now.

One thing you forgot is that ui isn’t a form its a state of being, the angels themselves are strong not because they have ui equipped but they have ui equipped because they are strong, Saiyans are just broken and turn everything into a transformation so its a form for them

When you ask "what's Gojo gonna do against a teleporting Kame Ha Me Ha the answer should be teleporting, right? Gojo basically has Instant Transmission also.
My view:Goku would still be able to use ki , so use ki blasts, kamehamea, and can also use kaioken, and is trained to whitstand the pressure It gives to his body. If he Needs It. Ultra istinct would be nerfed at least a bit i think, he also has far more experience. Let's remind , even tho he prob wouldn't, he can Just use senzu beans during the fight
also if goku was BORN a human then this would probably be the case, everybody probably dies when piccolo is freed and if not then either A frieza eventually finds the planet and takes it over or B they live a normal earth life with goku capping out at EARLY Z like late saiyan saga at most maybe and maybe the androids being a thing and if this happens then its hard to say what way it would go but if goku wi ns and survives he just dies of the heart virus later in life and stays dead forever also none of them every meet anyways, actually MAYBE gohan takes him to meet roshi where krillin ends up eventually and bulma probably comes for gohans four star etc
