Great review guys! As a happy owner of a Renegade Trailhawk I finally I found a test that is spot on. This car is so underrated!
I take my '16 Trailhawk to Moab several times a year and it continues to impress me each time. I love my lil Jeep!
We had a sport with a 6 speed manual and the turbo 4 and it was quick.. I was impressed.
I used to hate mine but love it. I have a 2017 altitude all wheel drive version great in the snow! I just changed my brake fluid after 20k miles did the tune up on it. Changed the oil and rotated my tires. Changed in cabin air filter and air filter. Just did 2 coates of wax on this and my 2016 ram 1500 sport
Why on earth are you changing brake fluid at 20,000 miles?
Finally, they gave it a more powerful engine! Excited to see this powerplant in the compass!
The turbo 1.4 T for 2020 should be nice!!
Please explain to me how a 1.3 L with "turbo" is more powerful (and reliable) then the former 2.4L which is a bigger engine without the designed to fail "turbo" crap? Someone, please explain....This is the exact same thing Kia did to the Souls from 2017-2019 then completely destroyed them with CVT garbage in 2020. Must be owned by the same group of inbred psychopaths.
I have a Dodge Durango , just took it to get serviced and they gave me the renegade as a loaner . I feel like I’m driving in a lil truck gocart.

Here in my country, until 2021, we used to have a few models offered with the 2.0 TDI, a turbo diesel engine with 170hp and 260 ft-lb, mated to a ZF 9-spd transmission. It is a beast, very strong and great when carrying more weight. Also, the torque is really good on yhe off-road. I grabbed mine new while it was stiil being sold. Not anymore, sadly. I have a 2017 Jeep Renegade! I love it!!
My 2016 Renegade (1.4L 6 speed manual turbo 4x4) runs like a beaute! I change her oil every 3k to 4k miles since I ride her hard. Did a muffler delete and dyno'd her. 2 sunroofs.
Leather interior. My perfect San Diego vehicle :)
And now you can get the same tiny engine for $37 grand in the Trailhawk......no freaking thanks.

The 2016 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk SUV has a recurring
power seat problem that prevents the use of the 8-way and lumbar functions. The
problem causes the driver seat to freeze and lock into a position on the seat
floor tracks. This could create a serious
problem in the event of an emergency. The dealer service department is
clueless on fixing the problem.
I like the Renegade especially with that new engine and the amazing exhaust rumble. The exterior styling is very handsome and I think that Jeep did a wonderful job, but for the highest trim having a starting price of 28k it is a little bit pricey. (and can I mention that it doesn't come with a power tailgate for 28k?) Otherwise it is a wonderful car especially for people who want a tiny off-roader.
Believe me I own one and it's worth every penny!

Still choose the jimny for its price and a lot of aftermarket support. If i would go jeep path, i would prefer the wrangler, hands down.

Yeahhhh I have a 4x4 latitude and my screen is half the size of the fwd, cheaper version I test drove. I Love my 2019 renegade, but, my 2 biggest complaints are the gas mileage and the teeny tiny screen I have that is about half the size of my phone.

I have a sport 2019 and it’s fast asf it feels like it’s the turbo model I’m not lying can you opt for that engine in the sport ?

Is it worth buying a Jeep Renegade S 2019 with 0 km for around 20000€?
What kind of model did you drive? Is that sportl, latitude or etc?
I have a 2017 Renegade and the turn signal noise is SO annoying! If I'm on the phone through Bluetooth, the person on the other end can hear them loud and clear.
There is no excuse not to cancel the turn signal on the Renegade if it doesn't self cancel. It's so loud you can't ignore it.
Shocking news about the engine oil consumption! If I knew I would have passed & bought another brand!

@@ZeusKingOfGods1 Jeep says it's ok for its 2.4 L. engine with 50K miles on it to consume 1 quart of oil every 750 miles!!! What a RIP OFF!!!

I’m taking my Jeep back to dealer 2nd time , it’s only 5 months old purchased it branded new , had to get the radio replace the inner glass had a defect , the sales man mentioned someone also came in with the same issued. Replace with the warranty , but now I’m experiencing some shaking 😩. This is my first suv kinda vehicle I’ve always driven small sports cars . Took me awhile to learn that the jeep takes a while to pick up when driving , but the small shaking I feel not sure if it’s because it’s a Jeep thing . Does anyone have this issue ? Thank you 😊
I just got a brand new jeep renegade last week. I noticed a light shake when I'm slowing down n starting to pick up speed.I was wondering if its a jeep thing?

Doesn't come with a spare tire,locking gas door,or CD player.
The full size spare tire is optional, but I agree it shouldn't on a real off roader

Yes, go with the forester. I have a 15 Trailhawk with no issues but power and mpg are not what it says it will be.
I had to lemon mine but I miss it a lot
@Perry Bonner mine had a ton of computer issues. The first issue cropped up a few weeks after I bought it and they did a software update and pretty much that was the start of dealer visits every other week. Things like tire pressure system off line, drive not available, service 4wd system, electric parking break offline, etc all sorts of stuff. The transmission started to take a hit after the thing started shifting funny
@Perry Bonner yea I wanted to keep it but after it failed to start a couple times and then did start but couldn't shift out of park I knew something needed to change

My aunt bought one of these last year. The engine failed at less than 3,000 miles. She had to replace the entire engine. Buy at your own risk.

Chris Ramsey well it’s not for everyone, I personally love my Renegade I think it’s a very capable SUV, and I think for 28 grand for it, it’s not even bad in this segment the top of the line Honda HRV goes for the same price.

TDrew 3 No, it’s pretty freakin bad. Considering you can get a fully loaded RAV4 for the same price as the entry level.
dawfurby well that’s a totally different segment the Cherokee would be the competitor for the RAV4, the CH-R would be the competitor to the Renegade, and that’s just it your getting a fully loaded vehicle over a entry level I’d still take the Renegade over that.

It is all good bro. It is like "What is that!?" and "ok lets move on now." Think of it as searching up the Pontiac Aztek again after a few years. People would say " still shit" and move on. Except the Pontiac Aztek is probably one of the coolest vehicles in the world. Hope we good bro.

That is a Fiat! Not a Jeep. Not reliable. Fiat is one of the worst makers in the industry. "Offroading" is really driving on gravel roads with a few bumps here and there. This is a "sales" review.
