The description is wrong, the 1.3T is the upgrade engine, the 2.4L tigershark is the base engine. The 1.3T is brand new and its OK power for this much weight, but the base 2.4 is a POS, avoid it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yeah the 2.4L makes about the same topend, but it sounds coarse, uses a lot of oil, and its midrange is lacking. The 1.3T has more of a hum to it with less harsh NVH and around 3K rpm makes oodles of power for highway passing without a lot of shifting required. Wish they'd drop the 2.4 entirely, make the 1.3T the base engine and the 2.0T they put in other Jeeps the upgrade option.

You are right on that, I was seeing the 2.4L as an option so figured that was the base engine.
