    Is it perfect no, but... It has proper off road capabilities unlike all of its competitors and yes it looks different then most cars on the road and I think for that reason it's a great car
    It was made for modification in mind and it is relatively easy to do so as a result
    But spot on review of this car

    Nice to see small SUV which still maintain off-road capabilities.

      I totally agree with you... I have a Renegade Trailhawk too and it is a very capable offroader... Just put some proper tires under there and some good driving skills are the secret to compete with even the big sis Wrangler.....

    Thanks for the review. I used to find your reviews a bit too critical, but now I come to watch them because of your critical reviews, i.e. I want to know the weak points rather than listen to guys who praise everything.

    Great review and spot on. I'm shocked you achieved fuel economy numbers even that high. Here in the States, economy is no better than 10l/100 km. I think the Fiat 500X is better in every way.

      You guys probably get it with the 2.4 Tigershark, which sounds like a recipe for poor gas milage :)

    In Lithuania Renegade starts at €19490 for Longitude 1.0 120 FWD. Renegade Limited with 2.0 diesel, 4WD and Automatic gearbox starts at €27490. I couldn't find price for Trailhawk version.

    Its time for a redesign don’t you think? I’d like to see it look more like a Wrangler.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives Před 3 lety

      It came out in 2015, underwent a facelift recently, so it's another 1-3 years until the next gen. It's not a big seller, so no point investing in it.

  • @nikolaidiqnov6801
    @nikolaidiqnov6801 Před 3 lety +3

    The exterior of the car is lovely but the interior, at least for me, is kind of a let down. This handle for the passenger is so unnecessary and looks like an afterthought. Most buyers will be using this for a daily drive to the store, school and so on, not to drive on top of a desert dune or a mountainous terrain. That is why the interior need to be a little more refined, especially in that price range.

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives Před 3 lety +2

      It's a Jeep, and it has to retain some of the off-road character. There's always the Fiat 500X for the more city-oriented buyer.

  • @D230261
    @D230261 Před 3 lety +1

    Not a great review for a car that doesnt deserve it...I've had a 2020 Limited model with 2.0 litre diesel 9 speed auto and 4x4 system for 4 months now and think its a great car...Economy is reading 37.5mpg for mostly city driving when I get on the motorway it averages around 50 mpg...Ride quality is good, i have bridgestone summer tyres...Interior quality is ok but full heated leather seats and heated steering wheel...the uconnect 8.4 system is excellent...havent had a chance to test the 4x4 modes yet...price wise it can be expensive if you spec it out but my car is basically a trailhawk without the under body skid plates and I paid £22k...New...

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives Před 3 lety +2

      So it's basically not a Trailhawk, because it has a different AWD system :)

    • @MarekDrives
      @MarekDrives Před 3 lety +3

      And the approach, breakover, and departure angles. That's what makes the Trailhawk, and that's what adds up to the price (and yes, it's overpriced regardless of the trim).

    😂 they get 33 to 40 on the highway I don't know where you got yours but that vehicle must be super stripped down and engine 1.3 is not a 3 cylinder it's a 4-cylinder

    • @MarekDrivesENG

    Worst review of the Renegade TH I've seen. There are tons of reviews that put the Jeep Renegade TH to its places. And it competes with Wranglers in those reviews. Plus, you don't go off road with stock street all season tires like you did in this review. 100% unreliable review at best.

    • @MarekDrives
