Most of the people likes Dhoni, but what happened was still wrong, so people should remember that just because any player achieved lots, doesn't mean he is above game, whatever, everybody should respect game.
What Viru said is 100% right...
His comment about ban was 100% percent correct. But just moments later he backtracked his statement, saying how he would have been okay if Dhoni did this for team India instead of CSK.
If you are going to say ban players for such actions, make sure you stick to it.

Problem wrong decision ki ni thi......... Problem yeh thi kih pehle no-ball umpire ne diya & free - hit buzzer v baj gayi.... Jb umpire ne withdraw kiya toh ground me bahut confusion ho gya tha...toh DHONI confusion ki clarity ke liye chal pade....jiske liye usne baad me maafi v maangi.

You missed the biggest one which was tonight, msd out or not out?
Yeah, it was quite a debatable decision but it wasn't controversial because different people have different opinion on that dismissal. Lisa Sthalekar one of the experts in cricbuzz panel thought it was not out because there was no conclusive evidence same did many other experts, but Akash Chopra and Sanjay Manjrekar thought it was out. I thought it was touch and go and benefit of doubt should go to the batsman but it isn't a controversial one. So let's accept that dismissal because nothing could be done now.

I personally didn't like Sehwag's comment. On one hand he was criticizing Dhoni for not respecting umpires decision, but on the other hand he himself criticised match referee for Dhoni's punishment by calling it not adequate. It only shows his personal problem with Dhoni. Sehwag should also respect match referee's verdict.
I don't think he said anything wrong ! I mean dhoni did disrespect umpires and match referee let him go with an easy punishment just because he is big name in world cricket. He didn't do his job properly.
Even as a Dhoni fan...I dont agree on what he did and I do agree with Sehwag on this...he is a legend of the game but he is not above the game...he cant just walk on the field at his will and wish...I just feel that 2019 was not a good year on MS and he in hindsight probably agrees on his mistakes as well

Excellent clip , but Sehwag must understand that this was a major blunder and had it been any captain , they would have still gone on the field. Its a pity how such blunders can take place at the IPL level. Legit reason for any captain, let alone Dhoni who is the epitome of sportsmanship and grace. Sehwag saab, ban karna tab sahi hain jab behaviour kharaab hon.
madhav nambiar "had it been any other captain,"he might have gone onto the field, but he would been banned for a match for sure,, with due respect to champion MSD,, right things can't be done through wrong means .
@@manudyson fair enough , but what about a blunder like that by umpires in the finest format of the the game. Is that acceptable. Dhoni getting away lightly , depends on how bad the grievance of behaviour is, Do you remember the fight between Keiron pollard and Mitchell stark. Now that kind of behaviour needs serious judegement. By the way Sehwags point that umpire ki value kaisi rahegi? Apni value woh khud banate hain. Their actions were far from mediocre. Especiall when they had aid available from the third empire. Had they been strong in the first place, this kind of an issue would not have arised. Well thats my opinion, when one of the finest sportsman in terms of respect has to behave in that manner. Then its a real question in the asking, are umpires even in control of the match.
@@madhavnambiar1563 I am sorry sir but a incident of no ball happened between RCB v MI also and was more horrendous blunder as RCB lost that match on the last ball as umpire didn't call it no ball. Also AB De Villiers would have been on strike so RCB would have won it. This didn't meant that Kohli could take on the field and gone after the umpire. It was clearly visible on the giant screen of what happened.And we all know how passionate Kohli is. You could have said nah it would not have much difference as RCB is bottom of the table but all bottom 4 teams could have qualified win just one more win to their name. Whole scenario would have changed. I know that MS Dhoni is the best captain+wicketkeeper+batsman combination in the world and I like him a lot. But this not give him the authority to go after the umpire on the field. He could have said it like what Kohli did off the field in the interview about that last ball.
Btw I am not trying to make comparison between Kohli or Dhoni . They both are great players and I respect both of them.
