The desire to not "spoil" games for his viewers is something I really admire in pete. It shows that his passion for what he does is greater than revealing things in a story to make himself look hungry for views.
Perfect example of the latter is Gamespot. Yes I am 100% blacklisting them

1:33 I can pretty much relate to Pete. I was the exact same way when it came to Pokemon. I sold most of my pokemon cards and gave them up, but my friend gave me his old ones and now I have another card collection again.

Well its good to see you back Pete, hopefully the schooling is not getting the better of you. I'm gad you promoted time and eternity a bit, I got the collector's edition myself and I think despite its flaws and really low score, I can see myself really enjoying this game as well.

Nice video once again ! I think it be nice if you could show some gameplay scenes of the games youre talking about. I personally had no idea how SMT 4 looks on the 3ds so maybe a short clip to underline your comment might help.

I'm so glad I picked up Pokémon X. Same boat as you, hadn't played one in a while, but man I fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
Also: mandatory love for The Last of Us. Incredible game. Great video, man!
The Vita and it's growing library of titles, is getting more impressive all the time. I am so glad I took the plunge and got one recently.
Haven't got Dragon's Crown yet though, but it will probably be the next title I get.
Thanks for posting this. I like how you have such versatile tastes and are knowledgeable about and enjoy so many different types of games. I couldn't agree more about Muramasa; The amazing graphics and combat carry it. One of the prettiest games ever made, not just on Vita. The Last Of Us is incredible and after finishing it I was sort of emotionally wiped out for a couple days. It stayed with me. I played it on the harder difficulty, I think this is the way it should be played.
Finally someone that can understand my thoughts on Time and Eternity!!

Do you think I should try to finish these before the next gen consoles come out, or is having multiple games in your collection that you started but never finished normal and okay? thanks!!! :D

btw i came across your channel via that really rare psychic assassin saturn game, and you mentioned radiant silvergun Hiroshi Iuchi (who did both radiant, ikargua, and psychi assassin) has a new 3ds eshop game called Kokuga コクガ that you might want to check out. It's really one of his better even if the graphics are sparse, the 3D effect is amazing tons of levels under levels.
I do what you said with alot of games play half way threw then give up and start a new game, for sure gonna finish pokemon x its real fun

even if the past pokemon games werent that great i really love them not because they were too good but because they had alot to do and breeding iv egg moves evs getting the perfect nature etc and going online and battle with someone always maked me play pokemon games alot

I really enjoyed Class of Heroes 2. I was able to get through it in about 40-50 hours and thought it was a good diversion from typical console RPGs. It had been many years since I'd played a game along the same lines as Wizardry. That was Wizardry 7, so that probably puts it into the mid '90s. I was pretty convinced that this type of RPG wasn't for me, but gave it a shot and was hooked.
My physical copy arrived in the mail today as well (played through the PSN release).

Pete loves an underdog game (regarding Time and Eternity)
The Last of Us is one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoyed just exploring the environment and finding supplies. It was nice to play a game that offered more than just fight scenes. More importantly, the story is amazing! I played through the game twice so far on solo and I also played online. I didn't enjoy the online game play because it was more like COD. If anyone hasn't played TLOF, you are missing out on a great game! TLOF also has a great soundtrack.
I could have, but I could not wait any longer to play it, I had to open it :)

Hi Pete, I know you won't answer it but I was wondering what's the percentage of the games you own that you actually enjoy to play. I always watch your videos and in your pick ups videos there're just a few games you say it's good. I have a quite large collection as well and I can tell that there isn't any game in my collection that I think it's bad and I have played through most of them as well but it seems like in you collection is most games you don't play or/and don't like. Great video btw.

I thought you said the downloadable title you purchased was Parodius, the Gladius parody by Hudson featuring Bomberman as a fly able ship. I recently purchased it on one of the PSP PC Engine collections, but once you said it was a pseudo game where you wander and hear sounds I realized it was a different game. Nice pickups though all modern and no retro :( Still GREAT video man, keep up the great work on the podcast as well as this channel!
Do you buy all your games first hand or second/pre-owned?
i have also made some pickups, and 2DS and Pokemon Y. Plan on picking up some mario games, and cant wait for smash bros!

That Muramasa game might not have been shipped from their warehouse - maybe was packaged by a private seller. If you contact them they'll probably send you a pre-paid return shipping label, and will send you a replacement. They are really good about that.

I actually had the same issue with Tales of Xillia CE. I bought it from Amazon USA and had it shipped to Ireland. It was damaged on the side similar to yours. Contacted Amazon and they refunded me 50% of the price, which cushioned the blow. I also got to keep the game. Worth a try at least.

I'm the same with T&E.. must say it's one of those "guilty pleasures".. due to having to forgive alot.. I've played 15hrs 32mins & although I swapped it in the end for Tales of Xillia (I only lost £2 in exchange from what I bought it for).. I remember a hint of regret in my decision to do so..
