I wouldn't trust that Mystic Nights seller and that price. I took pictures on my phone where he put the game on Ebay back in october for around 1000$, then 'sold' it and relisted it two weeks later for double the price. Then he 'sold' it again and relisted it recently for double the price again. He's manipulating the price.
Edit : No, he didn't sold different copies but the exact same one.

I remember when sellers were doing that with Kuon for $30 then $60 and they manipulated it all the way up over $100!!
It should be a $30 game and it's only worth more than that because it was manipulated!!!
Manipulated pricing? If someone buys the game for that price then that is what it’s worth. Sounds to me like this person has some of the only copies of this game there are and can’t figure out its market value so they’re just trying to figure it out as best as they can.

@@douglassmith9445 ppl 100% try to boost the sale price. If u have a decent amount of copies of a title it can be done . Esp cuz price charting is based of sales. So it's def possible. Also, I've found more then not....the reasoning why someone is doing something...it's the shitty reason. Not the nice reason. Ppl suck. Just reality of our world.

I remember back when I had a PS2 collection I had extra copies of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Capcom vs. SNK 2 sealed. I sold them in a bundle at quite a high price. I'm surprised used copies are still being listed for as much as it.
All they need to make is a _Legacy Collection_ of the vs series series in 2 releases... one for the Marvel vs Capcom series and another for the Capcom vs SNK series.

I don't understand why somebody would sell something like a play button? I would feel such an incredible sense of satisfaction if I ever grew large enough to receive one that I'd want to keep it forever. More importantly why would you want somebody else's award? It's weird to me but to each their own I guess, great video though Pete!

Mystic Nights was a game I first heard about around 2014/2015 and I think I remember seeing a copy on eBay around that time as well. It sold for a way lower price although I do not remember the exact price. Back in that time frame, there were very few Korean PS2 games being sold on eBay. There are a lot more now but they are now sold at highly inflated prices. Mystic Nights is the rarest commercially released PS2 game to my knowledge. It was only released in Korea and they only made a few thousand copies (I don’t remember the exact amount but somewhere in the 1000s).
I know eBay sellers love to sell Korean PS2 games at highly inflated prices but that is a truly next level price.
I can deal with a 3rd party case, but printing out labels and advertising it is original is really scummy
The case is easy to replace, the artwork, not so much
I am so glad I actually picked up King's Field on a whim at a small store back in 2020 for $5...phew!
I actually subscribed to Ham years ago. He was part of the content creator side of a professional call of duty e sports team that split up a few years back. It is hillarious to see his play button pop up on ebay of all things though!

22:37 Probably best to just search in your region. A lot of sellers don't list the region and you can see you were still getting Australian PAL listings.

It's surprising how some of these terrible games fetch such a high price, i supposed it's because barely anyone owns them, because of how bad they were!
I played The Getaway on PS2 back in the day and I remember it was awesome. I picked up a copy not to long ago and started playing but the controls felt broken and not the same. 😢 Not what I remembered.... Lol
Pete have you noticed the explosion in Xbox 360 games on eBay? The collectible type titles. They are dried up and prices are doubling rapidly. Maybe a good time to put out another video on the topic before the digital store shuts down

Is it worth paying extra from American Sellers who charge a bit extra for a foreign item on ebay, or woild you happily wait longer for a game to get to your mailbox if it means spending less?
I'm personally in no rush but i just wanna be sure i shouldn't overpay for a game.if its cheaper to have ir transported to my country.

Ebay sucks now, no deals to be had unless you find a auction that ends in the middle of the night. I wanted to pick up a xbox legacy adapter and people are seriously trying to get rich lol. They are asking 600 bucks for a item that was 25 bucks new. I understand its out of print but cmon now.

Never thought I'd have MvC2 for PS2 because of the price, then I ran across it at a yard sale at almost noon about four years ago. Guy was selling games 3/$12 I think it was. One of the other games I got in the bundle was DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Guy sold me those for cheap but was bragging about having a copy of Snoopy vs The Red Baron that was featured on another well-known CZcamsr's channel. Months later I ran into him, and he tried to pass that same game off on me as new (it was a horrible re-seal).
I once got a copy of that game, as well as the PS2 Lupin game, stolen by some scumbag public storage company, along with about four or five video game consoles, and about $USD $10,000 worth of my belongings.

After disliking the PS2 for so long, I have just accepted its many many shortcomings and have gotten into it a bit more lately. Just finished collecting all the Wild Arms games, Grandia 3 and Xtreme are on the list next.
I hate AI descriptions and don't use them when I sell.
