I'd definitely be interested in a video explaining the PS4 livestreaming.
What's really exciting about the next gen consoles is that launch titles never EVER push a new system anywhere near it's limits. Killzone Shadow Fall looks like the best game ever made and its just astounding to think that the next gen consoles are capable of so much more than what Killzone had to offer. I am really excited to see what happens. Could you image if Rocksteady's next game title would be for the next gen consoles? They should be able to make a full and very real looking gotham city that Batman can interact and glide in. That would be amazing!

I played about a minute of Knack when I recently went to Best Buy. The controller felt soooooo good in hand, and the gameplay was really fun. I didn't expect the game to get bad reviews though.

Hi I just discovered your channel. I'm one of those gamers, like you, who really appreciate the graphics in video games. I notice people tend to really neglect graphics because we have reached standards now where we are used to see high quality hd gaming but I was already mindblown seeing the trailer of Killzone, FF15, MGS phantom pain, BF4. Those games look really, really impressive

Nice video man! Perhaps the most informative thus far, I mean all the official videos dont do that much for the player, only like for the average consumer. But once I noticed, could not stop staring at the Syndicate box :) When are they gonna hd remake that shit! No to the fps syndicate, but that original, its fuckin dope! :D

Hey man there is actually a work around for using a capture card, you can use a HDMI Splitter I believe, been watching a lot of videos on it seeing as I'm in the UK still have a long week to wait and it definitely works

Besides the technical advancements, I don't really understand why to pick up a console at launch. If a game like... say Uncharted 4 were a launch game, I'd buy it day one. I think Sony should've focused a little more on securing a system-seller right off the bat instead of doing tech demos and feeding new sites with hardware info. Oh that and I'm cheap! haha
If you have the money why wouldn't you get one at launch? There isn't going to be a price drop for another 2 years so might as well get one now if money isn't an issue. I didn't touch AC4,Battlefield or Lego Marvel on the other consoles so there's 3 really good launch games that look amazing.

I actually disagree. Having a strong launch line-up doesn't matter much in the long run. However, if there was a game like Uncharted or inFamous: Second Son that was forced into being a launch game they wouldn't be as good as they would have been and could hurt the franchise.
And ultimately I don't think it would have increased sales much because Sony can only produce so many consoles early on. Sure, I'd love to have a Super Mario 64 or Halo: CE in terms of all-time great games as a launch game, but I know the games are coming and they aren't all bunched into two seasons with the rest of the year barren.

I agree with you on the review for Knack. That's why I'm excited for new games like Driveclub and Infamous: Second Son to see if they are better than Knack.
The main character of Warframe reminds me of the game MDK and its main character. MDK and MDK II were fun on the PC back in the day.

I bought myself a launch PS4 as well and I'm really loving NFS Rivals right now, I was surprised you didn't mention it since a while back you said you'd pick it up at launch. Do you think Flower would be a good buy for me since I never played it on ps3?

i want to get a ps4 but I'm having a hard time getting excited about the "next gen" simply because my home pc is more powerful then both consoles so the whole "next gen" graphics dont really have me excited. The next dragon age will be amazing but again will play on pc, any software worth buying a ps4 for other then killzone because killzone does look sick
I held the Dualshock 4 controller at bestbuy, and unfortunately they are still too small for me. which was a huge upset for me. it was improved however compared to the awful Dualshock 3.

I want a PS4 but there's really only one game i want atm which is Resogun, i can wait for a while until there's more to choose from, kinda like Wii U which already has at least around 5 games i really want.

I so don't give a shit about the new consoles. the graphics are slightly better but they already were so good that i don't care to much about the difference.

The last ones looked amazing, I don't want consoles to look any better then they already do, I don't want to not be able to see the difference between my friends and game characters. And I certainly don't want game developers to work forever on a game or make it cost way more because they put to much work in how it looks
The graphics does not matter regarding consoles, the reason you get a console is for the games.

It seems that Wii U is still strongly on the competition with it's great upcoming and current exclusives.
The PS4 UI is nice. I like everything about it so far. I have footage of it on my channel in case anyone wants to look at it. But I hope you are enjoying it man. By the way, Resogun is addicting.

Yeah they disabled it because of the PSN being slammed, it will be back eventually. I thought maybe I hit some setting on accident, but it just it down for right now

I cant see why you would buy one of the new consoles now. Like you said, most of the games that are interesting comes out on ps3 and 360 anyway.

I liked killzone, think its underrated. Its one of those games you show to your friends to show them next gen graphics. Yes its your basic shooter, some people say the levels are confusing but i think thats better than linear go straight ahead. The most impressive thing in killzone is the lighting, man the god rays are amazing. Haven't played the multiplayer yet so I cant comment on that but most people say thats the best part. Overall its a great launch game worth playing
I dunno why you think they'll patch in hd vid cap. They said the console at launch wouldn't have hdcp but they lied and it did.

I've canceled my PS4 Pre order. Not excited about any of the launch titles and I'm getting AC4 on Wiiu.

It's probably worth noting that I am primarily a Nintendo fan, but also a Sony fan and anything else that is good. No gamer bias...
I was litteraly banking on a next gen version of Watchdogs and Driveclub as my PS4 launch titles, both have been delayed. I find myself wanting an Xbox one much more due to the likes of Forza, DR3, Ryse, Killer instict , Titanfall etc...
But I refuse to pay £430 for the Xbox one considering I absolutely do not want a Kinnet in my Household :) . Wiiu, 3DS and Gaming laptop will do until PS and XB sort their acts out!

Just a thought as Sony invented the Blu-ray disc does Microsoft have to pay Sony for using the Blu-ray format.
I've played knack and didn't think it looked all that - not the technical showcase you are describing.

I honeslty loved knack.. I beat it and i hope they make a second one.. Killzone was really fun to. Plus great online.
Warframe is an amazing game. I played it on my PC for awhile a few months ago.
I got my PS4 at midnight on launch and for those complaining that its stupid and are going to wait and say there isn't much of a difference are dead wrong.. The way Killzone opened up with the rain drops dripping off the characters was incredible. You could see each individual drop and each reflected off the lights from the level. It was absolutely astonishing. The graphics are so much better than the past gen. The textures of the uniforms just everything is so detailed, to be honest who cares if you think its stupid because your going to wait a year for the price to drop only $50 playing on past gen graphics. I think the PS4 is defiantly worth buying early. And pete they said there wont be an update for about 3-4 months. I just bought a HDMI converter and it works great :) And its only $22 on amazon.
You could have just recorded the interface with the share button. Then you could pull it from facebook with a program or website that does that and edit it and upload it.

xbradx11 PS4 is 50% more powerful, has the great Sony exclusives that will be coming and it's $100 cheaper. XBone is pretty much just an overpriced CoD/TV/Sports Box. I'm pretty sure which console is better. Also, I'm pretty sure it doesn't come out until next friday... so not sure how you have one...

Do you really not think of Wii U as current gen, Pete? I'm speaking of Wii U/PS4/Xbox One as current generation now, with the Xbox One so close to launch.
I totally admit it's not as powerful as what Sony or MS are offering, but neither was the Wii compared to the 360 or PS3. I still think of it as current gen, myself. Just wondering, because you mentioned "next-gen" starting with the PS4 a few times.
That Warframe game sounds pretty awesome. I tend to steer clear of F2P games, just because I feel like they'll eventually sucker me into buying stuff, but if I had a PS4 that game would definitely entice me.

One thing that has me worried is the exclusives. So far we get a killzone which I wasn't too interested in back on the ps3. We get knack which I don't care for at all. Now we get another uncharted game announced. It's more of the same from last gen. I need new

Man it sure does suck that I have to wait until March 2014 to get the PS4 but hopefully they will have a few of the glitches fixed by then, I think the first game I will buy will be Assassins Creed IV Black Flag.

No I live in the US but I spent most of my money on Batman games and now I only have $20.
Xbox 1 definitely has more exciting launch titles and features but well have to wait and see if it can follow through, I have high hopes for it though. What I like about the PS4 is it's sleek design and simplicity with technical power.
I'm probably not gonna get the PS4 until Kingdom Hearts 3 or Tales of Xillia 2 come out for it. Those are the kind of games I'm interested in.

I can't pay $60 for a tech demo. Shoulda been a pack in game or free with plus. Resogun is so good. I haven't tried warframe or the other free game. Keep forgettin the name. The controller feels great. Just wish the thumb sticks were slightly bigger. The ui is smooth and quick.
Hey Pete, do you mind if I add you on PSN? I don't have my PS4 yet, but I'm probably getting one for Christmas this year. You seem like a pretty laid back guy I'd love to play online with sometime!
I want a PS4, but not until it has a hefty library, and not until it has most of the hardware bugs worked out. I plan to buy it in 2015. For now, I'm buying a new PS3 (mine died over a year ago) so I can play Ni No Kuni, Dark Souls I and II, and The Phantom Pain. I pretty much passed over the PS3/360 generation, so I'd say I have plenty to occupy my wallet and time without adding PS4 into the mix. Great video, but I'm still not going to buy one until at least a year into its life cycle. I also would like to get a Wii U, mainly for the Virtual Console. I hope there's more TurboGrafx games available for it; I'm really loving the selection on the original Wii's marketplace.

Um, no shit? That's the whole point of my post. I don't care if I get one or not. New hardware does not impress me. I've been playing 16 bit games for the past year and have only just started missing playing Dark Souls. Some gamers don't care about the new generations. Some of us grew up playing Nintendo and Sega consoles. That's what I like. ;)

Only if you enable comments. You can just open up a laptop or tablet and watch the comments on that to play in full screen. You will give u the convenience of having the comments on the same screen however.
I like my ps4 but I find myself getting bored pretty quickly

The wobbling problem isn't serious.
There are three feet on the bottom of the PS4, but only on the side that has the matte finish. The glossy side has no feet underneath, that's why it wobbles.

I haven't seen enough to go out and get a next gen and probably won't till this time next year until I see a real jump in the quality of the games. There is not much difference that i have seen between PS4 and PS3 so until I see a drastic change than I am staying where I am with PS3.

***** I gave in on launch day and got my PS4 and then bought my son an Xbox One for Christmas just gone so have them both now although I haven't played on either much.
I tend to still use my PS3 a lot more than both PS4 and Xbox One put together but that has slowly changed with the addition of TLOU: Remastered and Assassins Creed Unity in the past week.
Resogun and Contrast are by far the best game on the system were the lackluster titles were from big companies Ex: Killzone and Knack.
