I mean when you have a game as popular as hollow knight and only three people to divide the profits between I can see how they aren't too worried about running out any time soon even if they are splitting with a few other people who did voice or the soundtrack this was still massively profitable
Actually on the Kickstarter one of the goals for funding them was gonna give us the Invincible, Fearless, Sensual, Mysterious, Enchanting, Vigorous, Diligent, Overwhelming, Gorgeous, Passionate, Terrifying, Beautiful, Powerful, Grey Prince Zote as a playable character (or like hornet, another game)
The gaming community isn't nearly as broken as the anime one atleast you get the occasional good one's such as this one and they usually turn out really good.
Yeah but remenber that in the kid startar campaing they promises a second playable character but it said secule instead of updated i hope will be an update but if i have to paid for it i am all for it

Just by the trailer, this game looks even better than hollow knight. How is that even possible?? The art is looks stunning, all the characters look so cool, interesting, and adorable, and combat even more insane and exciting.
I think that's because the color palet of this game isn't limited to keeping the cooler tones for the environement and the warm bright colors for the danger of the infection. So they have a lot more freedom to create more colorful areas. PLUS HORNET. HORNET
The first game has some design decisions that I really dont like and I hope they improve on this one. It has great combat in a game that because some choices, is kind of boring.

Yet Nintendo lazily tossed out Samus Returns, which is amateur hour compared to Team Cherry and Moon Studio’s efforts. Samus Returns is a game that looks 15 years dated, and took forever to arrive. Silksong is probably being created by five people (if that), and it puts Nintendo to absolute shame. Will we ever see a new 2D Metroid that actually has some love and passion put into it ever again? Nintendo has been bested by the likes of Ori and the Blind Forest (and soon Will of the Wisps), Hollow Knight, and now Silksong. Ironic that Nintendo was the one who inspired those who then took the crown from them by miles. Perhaps one day Nintendo will finally get off their arrogant, complacent and unambitious asses to reclaim it.
Welp they are 3 people so they can operate with lower fund. They sure must work very hard but their funding is nowhere near big companies. I think Nintendo release some cashgrab games to support them in a larger project. And small companies like team cherry are the people who actually have to makes their game good and unique to sell it. Props to all of them, this is why idie games are really enjoyable.
