Tate is a salesman. He’s selling an image and a brand. But owning 20 luxury cars and sitting around shirtless smoking cigars doesn’t make you more of a man than anyone else. I agree that Marcus Aurelius is a much better example of healthy masculinity.
but it doesnt make you less of a man
Depends how you frame it. Owning 20 cars isn't masculine but conquest is. Having your shirt off is not masculine but having an extremely strong body is. Tate is masculine. He's just not the end all be all definition
I agree about Marcus Aurelius

You can only be gentle when you’ve been a monster otherwise gentleness means nothing but a way to make virtue out of your weakness.
@@priley817 and what does being a monster mean to you?
@@priley817possessing the capacity for monstrous or violent behaviors while not falling prey to those base impulses is a far better indicator of strength than one who must demonstrate the capacities, who must witness the harm to themselves and those they ostensibly care about, prior to overcoming those less virtuous(more accurately defined as childish than masculine) traits.
@@priley817 That's ridiculous. Being a 'monster' as you say like plenty of men and women in the world is easy and for the weak being good is for the strong because it is difficult and builds resilience. Succumbing to your basest nature requires no effort.

It summed it up perfectly, my Dad is the most masculine man I’ve ever met and known. I can count how many times he has lost his temper in my 36 years of being alive. He has a calm strength, like he has nothing to prove to anyone.

As a Jungian student who loves Jung and his ideas this rings so true. The way Greene described the paradox of "equality in society" but lack of "equality on social media," shows the great paradoxical consequence of extremity of leaning towards one over the other. If you study Jung well enough, you'll realize it all boils down to ying and yang... The power of the opposites is inifnitely complex and it's all around us and in everything around us. The opposites is what the universe is based on essentialy, at least that's the biggest takeway for me from Jung. E.g. many people see introvert and extrovert as plain opposites but there's actually so much depth to these concepts than just (social / antisocial) as many people think.
I liked it! keep making this kind of videos of Robert Greene he is really a very rare thinker and his views of live have really helped me a lot. May God Bless him.
Allahumma barik the way he thinks is amazing
When he spoke about inner strength, I immediately thought of Batman. The world can be cruel, unjust but he is out there being resilient and standing for what is right. He doesn't feel the need to prove anything to anyone, doesn't care if he is liked or disliked. He goes to the greatest length to maintain justice, such as sparing the life of all his enemies. He is the ultimate Sigma male for me that is worthy of emulating.
It’s not confusing times for men and women. Let’s be honest; there is a movement to make it confusing, the times are as straight forward as they always have been.
Yes.
The movement is satanic and degradation of cultural ideals exploiting our strengths turning them into weaknesses while stripping these strengths from out culture the enemies don't want a cohesive cooperative functional culturally rich society to counteract them. These satanists want polygamy pedophilia pornagraphy to erode culture. The destruction is imminent . The sooner the better at this point. HAITI is a future glimpse of the fallen spineless world.

Andrew Tate would argue that he's very secure and very resilient, bullet proof in fact. And when he looks in the mirror maybe that's what he sees, but it's not strong or secure to profit off other people's vulnerabilities. It's easy to exploit people and circumstances if you want to, it doesn't take a lot of imagination, it's just an easy out where you are willfully refusing to put yourself in other people's shoes.

The qualities Mr. Greene has described like being secure, being stoic and all else, I personally think that is all part of Andrew Tate as well. Maybe in the past Andrew was more towards the "sleeping with hoes and fast cars" type person but in recent times he has been a lot more sensible and doesn't seem to do all that. His message has always been to resist the system and work hard so you can do what you want, not what people want from you. Of course the man has a brand and says a lot of sarcastic stuff which is funny to some and bad influence to others but generally Tate exhibits all the features of masculinity which Robert Greene has described here.
Greene's audience is the opposite of Tate's. That's just a buzz word so he can get some clicks at the cash register.
I just saw a recent interview where Tate literally said he needs to sleep with lots of women because his goal is to have at least 25 children and he was being serious. Greene's right, but he's conveniently leaving out that someone like Tate could only become as popular as he is because public intellectuals like Greene who have been around for a good long while just sat by and watched while ideology was taking over everything. Did they say anything during Me Too? Did they fight against concepts like r-pe culture and the like? Nope.
They're giving these pep talks now, when it's no longer controversial at all to say that there's a crisis of masculinity, and it feels more like a strategic concession, something they *have* to say so they don't lose even more support.

Be in control or aware enough to know when the pain of isolation is safer. Try to keep those few real friends and you're okay.
The man he described is the man everyone needs. Any couple married for a long time will tell you, they are a team. Two sides of the same coin. Yin and Yang. Andrew does not preach sleeping with a lot of women or just getting cars. Many times he has exclaimed how these things do not bring contentment. Rather the ability to do so shows that he is capable and is only there to reach more people. What he preaches is a person to become strong to be able to make a change.
His perspective in life is one which leads to a lot less suffering and a better world. Instead of whatever nonsense we are living in right now.
He doesn't care much more than gathering fame and fortune because that's most of what he intende to have. Same reason to how he uses the media. Same reason to the way he speaks in media. And of course everyone has something good in them so you'll notice that. There's nothing to argue about him in terms of his good and bad traits because he has both. But his whole idea of what he does bases on something certain.
We start arguing when we think of information as a form of self fulfilling prophecy and then argue about human beings. Instead of the things and information they provide. The whole internet argues about him being good and bad which has no value. It only shows how people are easily bothered by media and controlled by it as a whole.
Also his perspective doesn't create a better world. That's a shitty world we have which is just getting promoted. His perspective teaches strength, independence, financial wellbeing, health. Not crap like those. That's just taking the thing out of the truth. Us living nonsense bases on us being unable to realise what our lives are and where we are. None of this leads to a better future. Unless you have zero ability to see how this will lead to the future. His teachings only showcase giving in to society and doing whatever it needs you to do. If you're fine with that sure but calling it a way to get out of suffering and create a better future is innately fked up.

This is very true. This is the reason why we created out "Masculine mindset subliminal". To help males develop the appropriate mindset for masculinity. One that is of maturity, confidence, and strength. Audio subliminals are a powerful and easy method to change your subconscious beliefs about yourself. By listening to audio subliminals regularly, you can reprogram your subconscious mind to change any aspect of yourself and your life, such as your self-esteem, habits, skills, health, relationships, and more.

How many kids you fed through your charity? How many people you helped? Men you saved from suicide ? Dudes got kids paying off their parents houses. Sometimes you have to be brash to open people’s eyes
Oh god here goes another Tate fanboy. If you ever watched more podcasts with Greene you would know how much his books have helped and influenced people. Not to say that here he doesn’t even criticise Tate he just points out how his view of masculinity and power might be a wrong influence on his audience.
How many more women have been sex trafficked because of people like Tate, how many have committed suicide? It's easy to target the lowest common denominator. Tate "helps" lost young men at the expense of society and whole lot of other people. The guy brags about his wealth and lives in a little hovel in Romania because it's "far more advanced than the UK". No, because he can exploit women and run his illegal businesses there and avoid tax etc. That's not strong, that's pathetic.
The fact he did and does good is not enough to accept a whole generation of young men that are idolizing him and taking him as a role model.
Do you want your kids to growing up just thinking about grinding, fuck chicks, and denigrate who is not alligned with your ideology...?
(Big ups for message on workout and diet, i agree on most he says about physicall wealth)
Being woke, is far more worse, we all agree on that.
But between the 2 extreme, as they are, is where a young man should grow, thinking with your own mind, and dont gettin yelled that you are stupid to not get in bitcoin and not purchase their course to escape the matrix and denigrate again who is studying in universities😂

Next you're gonna tell me I should go for a swim in a random Yellowstone puddle because "it's water! It's good for you! Forget about the fact that the heat will destroy you! How much thirst have you quenched?"
Black and white thinking doesn't reflect well on a person's mind.
These are the words every young man needs to hear right now.
I felt the same way,I'm so grateful that somebody put this to words so perfectly
Thats not right we all have issue even if little from our parents but that doesn't give the fking world the right to stand against anyone on the opposit if there is a good ppl they will be positive and encourge us to do good and to live with anything and be men if we born men. Men is the root of all women as many religions has said it and its known till now in Africa by that unless if the matrix want to change it to proof to you their chaotic concept.

What I would suggest you do is seek the proper guidance of a professional advisor that can manage your portfolios the right way
You’re right buddy. I have been working with a seasoned professional advisor for the past eight months now, and it’s been a life glorious experience financially. Made over six figures this few months.

The glory of the young men is their strength; and the splendor of old man is their gray head. - Proverbs 20:29
What is the music in the video
I find tons of value from both the Tates & Mr Greene, I’d love to see a group podcast with Tristan, Andrew, Robert, George Jancko, Andrew Huberman, Sad Guru, Elon Musk, and Jordan Peterson. Of course there would be a bit of contradictory at first but I think if they all sat down in a constructive setting and discussed Sociology and Psychology, masculinity and femininity, Society, History and Future trajectory, Religion & Spirituality, Economy and Finances, Technology and Career pathways, Passion and purpose a lot of great gems would be dropped by the end of the discussion.
I think that's the part of our Social Engineering, like we need both type of People, people like Jordan Petersen and Robert greene, also we need Andrew Tate,YOU can't deny it he is needed for this lost generation. Everybody has their own power, It's all up to u, hiw u use it for the sake of the society
Yeah well said.

The lack of profound excellent example caused people like Tate come up as good example. If we young people read the history in right way, we would be able to find the right example for masculinity.
Read “King, Warrior, Magician, lover.” It’s a book about TRUE masculinity. It’s not about being strong or aggressive or anything like that, it’s truly about what Robert is talking about.
I have lost so many brain cells reading this comment section. Good book

People do really think all Andrew Tate do is just talking about his cars and sleep with alot of women eh? Well they don't know the guy, at first I thought Robert was describing Andrew Tate about the inner stuff but then I know he's talking apposed to andrew. People who actually watch him know he talked about stoicism alot.
I saw a ahort where his brother Tristan said he didnt fully agree with all of Andrews opinions. He almost cried about it and told Tristsn to get fucked on a public platform. Not very secure
If people are really intelligent they will listen to everyone and take the good from them.
I've listened to a lot of people and one thing is certain people have some level of bias.
if i go to judge everyone on the bad or things i didn't agree with them on then I wouldn't have learned a thing.
Tate has been able to voice the things many men are afraid to even think.
To say that he's insecure based on his personality and his lived experiences is just others projecting their own insecurities.
Jesus was by most the best human to walk the earth and still he was hated by many.
So before you go running with someone that shares your dislike or whatever for someone or something consider why they do first.
i think men should decide for themselves what they want and desire. and they should also decide for themselves what their masculinity is. I dont think many people really listen to what his message is. they just go along with whatever everyone else says about him.
at the end of the day tho if you wanna have fast cars and sleep with a ton of women thats your right. and if you want to start a family and raise children and love your wife thats also your right.
tell us you didnt understand the video without telling us :
100%
Despite whatever anyone says, Andrew Tate studied the concept analyses by Robert Greene well and applied them perfectly. Andrew won the hearts and got the fame and influence he was looking for. That was brilliant and well calculated.
Robert spoke Facts As Always! ❤️
yeah but andrew isn't weak and insecure, he doesn't mind being broke, he just doesn't like it because it will affect the people he cares about, the thing about fast cars though, is something about every man throughout history, we have fast cars now, but back in history, they had horse breeds and their rarity and genetically fast horses and stuff, but now the horses turned into cars, so it's not even about insecurity, it's about being a successful man in your own life and circle, but i have to agree about one thing, yearning to have so many women does come from insecurity, I know many dudes who said the same exact thing, wanting so many women is BECAUSE they are insecure and have a gap they wanna fill in their souls
Props to Huberman for just sitting there and listening to what he said without interruption.
He used to piss people off just to get famous. But Andrew speaks truth no doubt

@@Matheus.Fente. Hm... You actually should know about what being mentally strong is... Definitely you should... And you do!
What is a mental strength?
Never gonna give up, like how Rick Astley announces? Always finding a solution? Accepting things as they are?

Well, for not taking up yourself into situations which you regret later. Able to say no, when required. ( especially when it is about life and death ). And of course, not suffering every situation and things, where choices are made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are quite many different levels and aspects about mental strength. I am sure Mr. Tate has not mastered all of them, but surely enough, he knows the basics about what it is. Regardless of being in our perspectives or not.
