Nice job. Exactly what I'm looking to do. I'm a little nervous as I don't think every window was put in square (I did that opps.) I know the first window I put in was off by a little as I did it alone. Doesn't look bad and operates fine.

Really like what you did. Was thinking of doing same thing, pre-build casings to install at son’s house rather than have to haul tools and equipment back and forth. Watching this confirms to me this is the way to go. Nice video too, concise, no BS, to the point.

Nice video. I'm wondering did you rest the boxes directly on the bottom of the opening or on a shim? Also did you just nail the trim through the rock to hold them in place or did you nail through the boxes too. Thank you

The box sits on sill, fairly snug in the opening...nailed trim to wall and box to jamb

Dude, that looks awesome! I’m enclosing a back porch and I’m saving this video for reference for when I get to that point. What caulk did you use? Thanks for great video

Dynaflex...anything siloconized paintable caulk, don't use adhesive caulk ( it gets hard and will crack)

It looks really nice but what if they have to replace the window in the future? wont you have to remove that entire box?
