I am a 6ft guy, about 235 and my thighs are damn near 25in. My fear was there is no armour I can fit in except for being an accurate Death Trooper. These creator tips are so helpful

There's nothing wrong with being a Death Trooper, personally I find them to be one of the cooler imperial troopers
Nikole, I'm like you. I'm 5'2 and I desperately want to be a clone trooper, but I feel like it's not possible. These videos are the only things that give me the slightest glimmer of hope, with the "you can do this, just make it work" attitude.

If you’re interested in Clone armor check out “Ryzer Clone Trooper Armor.” I was able to start making my own custom armor for fun since I couldn’t afford it and unable to join the 501st due to personal conflicts and family related things.

just saying, i love the coruscant guards, theyre very cool and did they're job overall pretty well. yes commander Fox killed Fives but Rex killed a lot of clones in the Umbara so i dont think its fair to Fox to get as much hate. Furthermore they're freaking dudes putting on awesome costumes ! they dont represent the characters at all and are not responsible for their action in a show, its harsh to think that someone gets hate because of wearing a rad armor. anyway all that to say i love you greg and you dont deserve those comments, this channel is great and i hope you guys dont take them personnaly
@UCTSVAJvS4pRZq_ya5pIOWpQ true, but most sources show that the coruscant guards were more loyal to the chancelor than to their brothers (as they had very different roles and everything so they didnt see a lot of other legions) so when the chancelor ORDERS you to kill a clone, and you take the time to ask him to lower his weapons and he dosent... i dont think he is specifcally in the wrong. most people are upset that he killed Fives because we all love him but really i think Fox did no wrong.
rex obviously did it accidentally along with many other of his troopers because they didn’t know, fox purposely killed fives

Fox killed a clone willingly because he didnt comply and had a gun pointed to him, rex killed several clones in a battle, seems pretty equivalent to me. even tho rex didnt know he still killed a lot more then Fox and in the last episode of the clone wars (spoilers) rex could have set his blasters to stun too but he killed the clones trying to get to the medical bay and no one ever said anything, i stand my ground, Fox is getting way more hate then he deserves
Rex also regretted killing other clones on umbara as it was general krell who ordered the attack
@@damianjessecollier28 As i said, true BUT in the final arc Rex didnt really care for killing clones and did so while also having Ahsoka telling him that they are not in control of their actions and had the option of setting his blater to stun, same as Fox. now im not saying Rex deserves more hate at all, quite the contrary, i love him very much, i am saying that Fox is getting hate just because he killed a well liked character and thats just nonsense to me

I’ve been really enjoying all the armour themed videos lately, but I’ve always been interested in seeing how you would go about modifying an imperial surplus kit to fit a woman, considering there is very little information out there. Though I’m sure you could fairly easily figure out how to make it fit, I suppose the hard part would really be making the armour look proportional on such a different body shape (compared to what the kits are intended for). This video was definitely a very good example of making proportional looking armour for anyone on the larger side, so I guess that just got me curious as to what it would look like for someone pretty much the opposite.

I know everyone hates the guard but think about the fives incident from fox’s viewpoint. All he know is that fives is a traitor and has a weapon. Is it so absurd to believe he was worried about his men. Remember slick. He would have gotten all his brothers killed. Fox shot fives to protect his brothers and Rex and Anakin. Also. The CG had tons of the best clones. Thorn, stone, thire. On the topic of order 66. Most clones didn’t think highly of Jedi. Think about how many clones survive each battle. It seems like Rex is the only survivor of the 501st until umbara. The Jedi charge strait into battle, killing all of their men in the process. Also many Jedi went rogue. Krell got so many clones killed on umbara and was a traitor. Count duku was a Jedi. To the clones it wouldn’t seem so far fetched that the Jedi would rebel. And they were never loyal to the Jedi. Clones are loyal to the Republic.

Dang, those clones look sexy. One of these days hopefully I'll get that armor. For now, I just ordered the Old Rex kit from Imperial Surplus. Can't wait to get into that bad boy!

What colors and brands of paint and tape did you use for painting? I just ordered my Rex helmet and it would be a huge help! I really want to get the colors right.
Rustoleum brilliant blue for animated 501st clones, including rex. It’ll need to be wet sanded to lighten the blue and remove the gloss

I fiberglassed the inside of te codpiece around the belt area , it makes the codpiece way more durable, did this with my 11 year Old Arf Grunt , some parts can be fiberglassed to prevent thears.The upper-leg parts I made adjustable with resizable strapping , I use metal clips instead of Plastic ones.

First and foremost Love you guys more than once in the last few days yall have brought a smile when i needed it. Second The animated phase2 armor Vs. a RC armor whats the actual differrence when wearing it. I see a lot of bigger guys go RC rather than clones. Ive been tossing around either Wolffe or Scorch.
There’s a lot of differences in design, but I think there’s more flexibility with the RC’s for bigger frames. The waist area isn’t as slimming and constricted
@@GoGetterGreg thats what I was getting told by some of the group down here. Im currently finishing out my Mando, and looking on to the next kit as we do. Wolffe is a favorite of mine and has been for a while but i am not a small guy and thats a lot of funds to lose on that if i am to big.

Where did you get Rex’s pistols?
I've been working on a set of phase 2 clone trooper armor I found that for the thigh pieces using the two point molle drop leg panels so you can adjust the leg pieces to where they sit properly on your leg

Even tho this is 5 months ago I love the the Coruscant Guard they are my top favorite and the 501st is 3rd they are cool but the most fanboy material but I will admit that the 332nd left me with a good impression. By the way thanks for the tutorials on the armors
