What are your favorite MTB grips?
Ergon ge1 Evo is 100% my favorite
ODI ruffian
ODI ruffian! They are so amazing!
Mason Rose-Hamby dude same here! My local shop doesn’t sell them tho😭
Same pilgrim be like: pilgrips
That was the best intro ever
IKR lol
You must be gay?
Rubbery? I’m offended 😂
For a while I thought it might be a dildo...
Got me excited 😅
Grips just are about personal opinion. Except the Deathgrips, these are objectively the best 🙃
You sir are a smartass. And you are not wrong.
Yeet
They wear out too quick check out lizard skin machine grips
Bronson Launder no they don’t get sticky like off and they are cushy that’s why I like em. Plus if you forget gloves your ok
Good
Me watching the intro: No, I definitely clicked on CZcams...
Lmao
Ha! 😂 Average pp.
😂😂😂😭
If only my grip on reality was as good as the grip I have on the PNW Loams.
I love the fact that Jeff the CEO of the company is casually presenting CZcams videos.. I mean aren’t CEO usually mysterious and boring.
Dronalpes what about Elon musk
Thanks man! I'm a bike nerd and very involved in our business. And very much an unusual CEO in many ways 😝
Dronalpes Not Linus from LTT! (lttstore.com)
@@kasperii that started as a yt channel tho
@@quaaludes7898 oh no! anyways
I like the honesty and your personal experience of the products you bring into all of your reviews
@3:11 the miniature manikin hand hand got me cracking up. It was just chillin ergonomically 😂😂😂😂😂😅
I was looking at grips on your website last night... You spying on me Jeff?
I have rheumatoid arthritis and tried those Ergon grips with the wing. Helped a little bit. ESI super chunky is where a huge difference was made. Super comfortable and seems to dampen the shock from riding.
I think this is the best intro I've seen this year.
I dealt with a lot of hand pain/numbness. Unfortunately the ergon with the wing didn't help it. But fortunately, the ESI foam grips helped a ton! I use the extra chunky because of my giant gorilla hands.
I think the relative softness of ESI extra chunky encourages to grip them too tight. Ergon type grips or grips with 4 ridges for fingers feel more like they melt in your hands.
I ordered a pnw bar/grip combo and I can’t wait for it to come in❤️ keep up the good work
Been running the PNW Loam's on both my bikes recently, love them. My favorites I have used to date. Solid tacky grip and comfortable with thicker channels where some added firmness is needed and thinner channels where some more compliance is nice.
they look really good from what ive seen indeed. i really like my deathgrips but if they get bad some day i might actually consider those PNW
Great stuff!! Keep it coming brother. 👌🏻
My favorite grips are the Sensus Lite grips. They feel super comfortable out of the box and don’t need to be broken in.
Lol I had to quickly lower the volume haha. Great job and thanks for the video.
Haha such a good intro and great vid as usual.
Here is the creepy little baby hand that I noticed is missing in IG
Donald Trump as a hand model! LUCKY!
My favorite grips are the ODI Troy Lee DESIGNS grips. THey are awesome.
Also great intro
I got those DMR grips a few days before I saw this video. They are amazing. Really comfortable and gripy. I have another set of DMR grips as well which are really nice as well. Definitely go DMR or ODI grips people!
I love the GA3s - I have an old injury to my left wrist and the little wing makes all the difference to comfort and control
I have eegon ge1 on my full sus and deathgrips on my hardtail and love them both but ergon is the best 👌
Working in a bike shop have had me try many a grip, and my all time favourite that I now have on all my bikes is the Sensus Swayze!
So good!
Just bought the wolf tooth fat paw cam grips from you guys and I'm super excited about it. I'm going to get my husband the Ergon GE1 Factory grips and we'll see how they compare! I have large hands for a girl but I didn't want to go full fat paw so when I saw they came out with this cam design, that got me interested.
I have a feeling we will lean more to ergon but we'll see!!
I own a MTB for the city relaxation rides and I ride my bike without gloves. Also I do have a problem with the wrists ( programmer/game tester) and I have the Ergo GA3 grips. Without them I couldn't ride a bike. The GA3's really helped me.
My favorite grips are the Ergon GA3’s. I had hand numbness and these fixed it all, plus, I don’t need to grip them too hard b/c of their design.
Great review ...good to know which are the very best for low or high end riders bars:!!
Hard to beat those ODI Elite Pro's, once they are broken in they just feel like home :)
I've used those but if you've tried the DMR Deathgrip Race compound in the larger size which would you say is softer?
My current favourite grips are NS Hold Fast grips. Amazing design based on sailor tattoos and has a great wide feel and really comfortable and grippy whether I am wearing gloves or not.
I've tried most of these grips, Ergon, ODI, PNW, and Deity, and the new Deity Lockjaw are my favorites. I'm running those on my trail/all mountain bike and running Knuckledusters on my hardtail.
I’m really liking the oneup grips!
Always excited for your intros. Corny or not they always make my day. 😆
Glad you like them. I do my best to make it funny while remaining PC for all the sensitive souls out there. This is why they end up corny and PG haha.
@@WorldwideCyclery you can't please everyone especially the thin-skinned ones, but you know, sometimes it's so corny (not cringey) I laughed so hard. I'm glad you deliberately show the intro outtakes. 🤣
Burgtec Bartender pro grips are fantastic and well worth a look 👍🏻
Top 10 *Lock-On* grips. Once you try a glue/wire push on grip, it's hard to go back. The lack of an internal pipe or frame means more rubber for a given thickness, so they are really comfortable, especially if you have a hand injury/condition.
RevGrips are the best in the game and a must have!!
Deity supracush! Loved it! 🙌😊
The ergon ge1 are my number one go to. The more you use them the more they make sense and normal grips feel weird and uncomfortable to me now. They removed all of the pain I used to have in and on the outer edge of my palm. The build is on another level with a reasonable price (they're not cheap compared to some other grips but a good grip makes a night and day difference to ride quality and how much motivation you have out on the trails).
I love Oury grips. Been riding them for ever...
I finally found a couple things that I needed to order and am officially a proud customer of WWC! You guys are the only company on this planet that has official 20w fox gold fluid btw, so keep that sh!t up. Also thanks for the grips, can't wait till they show up
Found your website because of this video and bought ODIs because of it
Ergon GA3 for the win!! I have tried others but always come back
Mine are ODI Vans grips. I like them because they remind me of my old skate days.
I run bontrager lock on grips and love them
I have the ODI Troy Lee Designs Lock-On grip and the ODI Elite Pro. Love both of them.
I've ran ESIs since I first tried them and don't plan on ever changing. American made, cheap, so comfortable 👌
Right now I’m on the Odi Sensus.
I simply love the BMX/Motocross style.
I know it’s nothing but preference, BUT: man oh man!!! Those PNWs are a huge hit.
My fav is the lizard skin peaty lock on. Btw great video!
I rode the Ergon GA2's for a long time, they are super awesome and comfortable.
But totally interested in the Deathgrips!
Currently running the PNW Loam grips in orange. Love them.
Next grips will probably be the Supracush from diety. Picked them up at a bike shop and was like woaa super comfy.
I have dmr deathgrips on my enduro and deity knuckledusters on my trail bike. Without gloves I like the deity grips better, but with gloves deathgrips feel better than any other grip I've tried
I have some DMR DG on my 2020 remedy and I love them so far. My other top are ODI Rogue grips.
My favourites are the ODI Elite Flow Lock-on grips.
Best grip to date (not even a close competition imo) is the ODI dread lock. Obviously grips are a super personal item probably only second to saddles. For someone with big hands and multiple hand and wrist injuries and metal implants there’s nothing close. Comfy, cushy but firm, massive traction, slight contour. Eager to give the Deity SupraCush a try tho.
All about those Ergons lately. GD1 and the GE1 :) But I also really like the rest of these in the lineup except for maybe the foam ones, not a big foam grip guy
I am on sram foam grips for 2nd year. They are perfect for riders with long fingers
Thanks!
ESI grip, the best. I am using the Extra Chunk one, most comfortable grip EVER!! and it's light weight as well, 76g a pair
Im using Esi chunky on 3 bikes, Extra chunky was too fat for me :--(
I've smaller hands and I was long looking for grips with a smaller diameter but still enough damping. Since I found the ESI Racers Edge I'm really happy with them. But on trips I always have some spare grips with me as they tend to tear when crashing. So not perfect for downhill or enduro but for me still the best option.
How did they not add the best grips in the world?! (ESI)
That was a brilliant intro
The GE1 is insanely good
ESI grip, the best for me. I am using the Extra Chunk one, most comfortable grip EVER!!
Love my deathgrips, on my second pair. Laid by bike down at windrock and ripped one off lol.
Nice Video 😁
I use my bonntrager grips, and they work very well!
I run the PNW Loams on my Full sus and the DMRs on my hardtail, they are both pretty good, the PNWs might feel a little thin if you prefer a fat grip.
RaceFace Grippler - unrivaled !
Ergon GA2 for me super comfortable for my big ole paws.
Pilgrips, the one and only
Are they actually good? I Like His channel but Like really?
@@me-xq8nb honestly I gotta say they are the best grips I've ever ridden, I find there the perfect combination of tacky rubber and squishy rubber that is somehow still firm. Plus they're way cheaper than most other lock-ons so I gotta say they're my personal favourite
Ergon makes amazing stuff.
That said, I have DMR deathgrips on everything.
I bought Canyon Spectral CF 9 which have the original above Canyon G5 Grips.Which are perfect, soft and hold your hands as if you glued them to them.
I am riding ODI Elite Pro Grips and I love them. Red ones ☝️☝️☝️☝️
My new favorite for the past 5yrs is the VANS "Cult" grip with my Ti bar ends. Before that was just ODI longnecks
Was all about ODI ruffians but have been persuaded by deathgrips. They are real nice
I prefer a slightly thicker section at the end of the grip, and a stopping point at the inside edge of the grip, i find it gives a good reference point either side and prevents lateral slip off in more gnarly situations. None of these really have both but the ODI's. The ODI's i run have even more on both edge and it works great.
OURY V2 grips always my go to over every grip..
I got the dmr death grips for my dh bike , best grips ive tried so far , thinking of putting them on my other bikes .
Just replaced my Ergon GP1s with the GA3s. Game changer. Not one time while riding today did my hand go numb
ODI fanboy here. I run longnecks on both my BMX and DH bike. Those things just work.
ODI has won my business. Double lock-end models preferred, like the Rogue, which is also an XL grip diameter 👍🤓 Comfy, easy install and removal, low-to-avg price, color variety, durable AF, and helps large handed riders relieve grip fatigue. 😋 ODI 💚
he had us in the first half not gonna lie
Odi rogue hands down, surprisingly underrated
Hey Jeff, I love these PNW grips in cement grey. They look awesome!
They are on "special order" right now - do you know when they can be shipped?
How long will shipping to Germany approximately take using the cheapest method?
Cheers!
Hey David, unfortunately we don't have a really good estimate right now. But I am thinking around two to three weeks. And it would probably takes about that long to ship to Germany with first-class mail 👌
Love my ESI Extra Chunky grips
I'm a die hard ODI guy myself. That's all I've used for years. I don't think I've ever had a set of ODI's I didn't like. I would have to say that my faves from them are the Crosstrainers and the Box Ones.
The DMR Deathgrips are amazeballs! I’ve got the flanged versions on both my bikes. Great grip, great looks and let’s you use the end of the bars as well.
Can't comment on others but DMR DG's are 👌🏽
Yes
I have the Deity Supercush...really comfortable grip
I like the GA3 grips
Race face Getta Grip are my go to
I gotta try getting my hands on a pair of ergon
I like the ODI Tuffneck grips
I love Lizard Skins Logo grips they are so nice and tacky and have good cushion. Also some nice customization options
I wish shops selling grips, added a filter for the outer diameter of the grip. It also seems the companies themselves usually don’t mention this. For me personally, I like fatty grips, but it’s hard to just order them online because of the earlier reason I mentioned.
I kind of wish that ergon made a black and oil slick version of the gd1 2020 but i'm going to get it anyways 😅🤷♂️
Ergon all the way... Ive tried alot of diff grips and recently tried the loam by PNW and def not a fan they got returned same day. :) Ergon is just amazing next is to get one of their seats.!!
The ODI Elite pro look nice.
I'm a gloveless guy so the absolute go to is ODI longneck, doesn't get better for gloveless
New acid disrupt are awesome
Petition for tudlow saddle and grip reviews
REVGRIPS are my favorite!!!
