How I, ENTJ, see other personalities (based on experience):
ISTJ: great workers on your team who you can have overworking without complain
    ISFJ: gossip girl
ESTJ: branch manager to my company
ESFJ: that cool fun granny everyone loves and vibes with
ISFP: rebellious people who you weirdly get along with
    ISTP: cool, just fucking cool
ESFP: fun chaotic drama queen gf
    ESTP: partners in crime
INFP: whenever I see them I get reconnected to my childhood
    goes backto Fi
INFJ: smart, wise, emotional yet logical people. Great teachers.
    ENFP: chaos monkeys, fun af
ENFJ: either one of the most charming caring, or one of the most manipulative people you’ll ever see
INTP: My mind on the drawing board
    INTJ: when I’m home alone
ENTP: Ambitious yet some are lazy, can be hot af, partners in crime II
ENTJ: I KNOW WHAT YOU THINKING YOU DIRTY BASTARD HAHAHA!!! I’LL TAKE OVER THE WORLD BEFORE YOU BITCH!!!

*The only type socially that will cause me to get upset and push back is the ESTJ. While they have the same desire to command a social situation, I find their approach to be short-sighted, selfish, and unwilling to hear additional input. This comes across as the scolding parent figure. As an ENTJ, I will only take the lead if requested, think about the greater good, and request input before commanding the situation.

My mom is an ISFJ. My dad is an ENTJ (I am as well). The description of how ENTJs can be baffled at how ISFJs are doing fine despite not moving as fast as they are is quite accurate. One day my dad decided to try switching from PC to Mac, as he thought Macs might run faster (efficiency mindset). He got both him and my mom MacBooks. My mom has since stuck with the MacBook while my dad didn’t and moved back to the PC after it didn’t click with him. I admire this ability of my mom to stick with things. She’s able to see what works and what doesn’t. My dad may have the ability to invoke change quickly and pursue his goals at any cost (as do I), but my mom also has an admirable persistence of a different sort.

And if both types are on the same page their dynamic can be great. 10 years of being disappointed by success left me depressed and unmotivated. I could never figure out why I wasn't happy, why no matter what I did it never seemed to be enough; I could never rest because I never felt closure. Eventually my ability to hold back the emotional flood ran out, and my life spiralled out of control in a whirlwind of sex, drugs and binge eating. I burned through my life savings in 2 months and ended up homeless, bitter, resentful, lashing out at everyone who got close. I discovered MBTI around this time, and kept mistyping as ISFP, ISTP, and INTJ.
Eventually, after some intense meditation and self-reflection, and a deep understanding of cognitive functions and the ways they manifest in different types, I realized that I'm just a severely damaged ENTJ.
The last few months I've been focusing on a new goal: figure out who I really am, and what I really want, so I can finally know what it's like to be happy.

He was a huge go getter and I’m definitely the “peaceful” one. I ALWAYS did well at work and was always well respected but because I didn’t have an executive job I was seen as less. He wanted me to help him negotiate as i was more likeable than he was but at the time I was not a good negotiator! So your assessment is correct. I learned a lot from him, though. It’s ok to say you know what you’re doing and have confidence and pride in your work.
Also, negotiating is great for getting more than you asked for!! If we were still together, I’d be a much better negotiation partner! Lol!
On the other hand, he saw my ESFJ mother as ideal and would always complain to her about me!! lol!! She exercised every day (I only exercised 3 days a week and was never over weight but, you know), she had an immaculate house, and she was just very organized.
He didn’t like my ISTP dad because he was too emotional and did some really stupid things like leave my mom for another far less attractive, out of shape woman!
He liked my ISTJ sister but thought she was too robotic and b*tchy.
I scored higher than my dad because I was presentable and didn’t do anything stupid like he did. Thank goodness! 😂

LOL. Also why ENTJ/INTJ are the ultimate power couple. ENTJs can lead the charge and be president of the country or a company while the INTJ sits in the background, letting the ENTJ have all the credit and happily fending off foes who were too distracted by the ENTJ's commanding presence to notice them. Meanwhile threat level and social obligations of the INTJ are way less because everything is focused on the ENTJ, the bait in the trap.

What I found from my ESFJ bf is that he is a wonderful and supportive character who wants the best for everyone (friends, family, and even strangers that open up easily to him) once his needs for love are met, which I do my best to give him at no extra cost to myself. He meets my needs (having a listening ear and empathy, being my verbal sparring partner), I meet his (giving him affection and encouraging his creativity), and we end up growing together in a positive direction. It just takes the right person/people to fulfill the specific needs in oneself so that we are then able to focus on other things in life and thrive while being able to help others at the same time. This hasn’t been my experience with the type. Perhaps because of life circumstances and whatnot, but my ENTJ friend was far from ‘I will get things done and need to push you into it’. Her desire was prestige, social recognition and even to appear as regal and unique in many ways. Not getting such acknowledgement, she would have sudden emotional reactions that could be seen as out of control (compared to my Fi dominant mom, it was the opposite. My mom has never shown such outbursts that take the rest of us by surprise). Such situation, would throw her into depression. There have been many situations in which she would quit if something wouldn’t turn out the way she wanted it the first time. It is possible that her state of mind at the time had an impact. So, opposite to who most would assume does the steeping in, it was in fact me. If I have an idea I need to pursue it. Sure, I suck at finding the right way to do so, but it is a life commitment to find such way and make an idea come true. Therefore, I have helped her realize her goals at the time. Which may lead to certain assumptions looking at people from the outside - one will appear as the boss, and one as the helper. But Te being my blindspot function comes in handy. While Fe makes me want to help people, Te makes me oppose authoritarian approach and overthrow any external rule and limitation. While most people learn to bend over and accept some rules, the problem with having Te as a blindspot is the inability to do so and (in turn) suffer the consequences.

It seems like that level of granularity and hyper focus on details is annoying to ENTJs though. Like ENTJs see they has having the right approach but pointed in the wrong direction. Very interesting! ~ Nathan

I need an ISFJ version of this concept, except if would end up being super long: how we think we ought to see/judge people (the most charitable take on each type) vs. our angrier dark side take on each type that we don't really want to face but that explodes out everywhere when our frustration has gone on too long. :) It wouldn't be 32 perceptions, though; it would 31, as our view of ourselves will just be the harsh side. :/ There's a recurring meme of Gordon Ramsey/MBTI where there's a pic of him comforting a kid ("It's all right, my darling!") next to a pic of him screaming in an adult's face ("You bleeping donkey!"), and the captions read, "ISFJs to everyone else" and "ISFJs to themselves," and I was just like, OH. yup. that right there, that's the thing. :/

Interesting view on Maximus as ENTJ in ISFP mode. I've always seen him Se over Ni. For example it was after "the Emperor has been slain" (Se) did he form that conclusion (Ni) and not that Marcus has passed in his sleep. ENTJ would have easily foreseen the consequence of not jumping on the decision to rule when given the offer as Maximus was. They'd also, with their powerful Ni/Ne would have seen a way to be with their family and rule at the same time, which is what Maximus was most concerned with (child Ni unable to see Ne alternatives.) Also hints of Fi over Te are the ease at which that Fi lead gains followers not because they want them, as Te does, but precisely because they DON'T want them (ISFP Harry vs ENTJ Voldemort as an alternative example. Also, ISFP Spartacus in Blood and Sand and ENTJ Batiatus.) Maximus' Se actions born of Fi are what speaks the most, how he saves Hagen in the arena as well as the others from an unwinnable scenario and then Hagen, so nonchalantly acting as food taster for Maximus. It is as if defiant ISFP Maximus attains "emperor" ENTJ status because others have given it to him precisely because he never sought it, nor did he want it. The ISFP does NOT want that power because, on a deep level, they know it will corrupt them.

One example I bring up when explaining how I use MBTI as a tool for understanding people on their terms is that my teenage daughter is an ESFP, I am an INTP, and so we share no functions and might struggle to relate except that we know where the other person is coming from. We do not clash, except in so far as we generally enhance our shared weaknesses (anyone for retail therapy and junk food??). So I found it fascinating that our types are here described as specific versions of another type's self-image. There...another little slice of Venn overlap for us! 😂

As you grow older you will realize that you are different and the more you try to fit in, the less success you will have because you are competing in a world where you are weak in. My advice to you is to stop trying to fit in and embrace your INTJ self and do what you excel in even if it's not the popular choice. Also don't make the same mistake I did. I married an ESFP and we are divorcing. I married her because she was very beautiful but in the end of the day, she could never appreciate my intelligent and I could never give her the emotional needs she desire.

@@GapModel1 I'm 39. In my experience, anyone who tells you that they're smart is not. Pride comes before a fall. Humility is the beginning of wisdom. A truly smart person will be painfully aware of what they don't know and where they need to improve.
In terms of direct, classical, "IQ" style intelligence, an INTP will run rings around an INTJ any day. They can soak in information all day without stopping and examine internal logic from now until forever. The genius of the INTJ actually starts in weakness: there is often too much information to deal with at any one time, so that information needs to be filtered. That's where Ni comes in. Straining out the unnecessary information and leaving behind only what is actually needed, thereby saving time, energy, and possibly money. Te then organises these insights into elegant structures that can be applied -- and often deployed -- en masse.
If we were comparing humans to CPUs, INTPs would be CISC, and INTJs would be RISC.

ISTP - 98% A much better version of ESTP.

INFJ - 99% Someone I can have a real conversation with but they need to speak more directly.
ENTP - 86% Agreed mostly but they are often crackpots with little proclivity for logic.
    INTP - 100% Agreed.
ISFJ - 40% I don't see isfj as admirable. They're needy, overly dramatic, and selfish. They are good at getting things done sometimes though.
ESFJ - 70% I sort of agree. They're very fake people, though, and I would never want to emulate an esfj.
ISFP - 99% Agreed. They are good versions of isfj. I like isfps. They just need to talk more.
ESTJ - 99% Agreed. I love etjs and their practicality. But they're often pretty dumb when it comes to foresight and end up not doing much of any importance.

INTJ - 90% Agreed except the running an organization part. Intjs never do what they want to do because they spend too much time overthinking.
ESFP - 92% Agreed. Love them but they're dumb.
ENFP - 60% Somewhat Agreed. These are people that will come up with ideas but never get anything done. They're a crappy version of entp. Both are useless.
ISTJ - 99% A smarter estj. Love them but they only tolerate me for short periods because they're too conformist.

Way too many people are victims of garbage inaccurate tests. Do yourselves a favor and learn socionics or better yet, keep spending your whole life watching youtube memes and stuck at believing "myers briggs" have created any of this xD

Tbh, as an ENTJ, I really find XNFJs really annoying and frustrating. They love to make themselves seem morally superior when they say the most basic points that I’ve already considered and decided to move past. I suppose perhaps I need to show my working before I tell them my conclusion, but I generally find them unreliable, untrustworthy, and a little fake (and a little dim) that I generally stop having conversations with them before we talk about anything on a deeper level. I’m sure many ENTJs can agree with this. Sorry, LoveWho- I really do like some of your videos though and you got the ESTJ part completely right here. 💕
