The PACLOCK 90A PRO is an excellent all around lock for its size and price. In this video I mention using it for a gym locker, I should have added the context that this is one of the few locks I would trust with my wallet / phone in an indoor setting such as a gym locker. Can it be cut? Yes. Will someone cut it while you're working out? Most likely not.
You've probably heard the saying, "Locks only keep honest people out." It's often used an excuse for using / defending cheaply made locks.
It's bullshit and a weak-minded way to approach life.
Honest people don't need to be "kept" honest. If your ethics rely on whether or not a lock is present, you were never an honest person. You're a just a lazier thief waiting for an easier opportunity to take advantage of others.
Criminals choose the path of least resistance. Usually this means cutting or breaking a lock. However, it is no secret that certain products have serious design flaws that are easily exploited with little to no skill. Will you get robbed if you use a cheap lock? Maybe not...but you will be the path of least resistance.
The PACLOCK 90A PRO is an excellent choice for indoor applications such as gym or wall lockers. It's also a good fit for anyone who is active duty military or any other profession that shares common areas where everyone secures their belongings. The probably of someone picking the PACLOCK 90A PRO is very low, they'll be forced to cut it, which they won't get away with.
This lock is also exceptionally light weight in comparison to other locks of its class. My active duty brothers and sisters may appreciate this. A few ounces doesn't sound like much, but they sure add up.
Thanks for watching and stay safe!

Keep it legal. Don't touch it if it's not yours. Don't pick it if it's in use. - Jak na to + styl
Please read the the video description: I think this is a great lock for indoor applications (gym or wall locker etc.) Because this lock does have well above average pick resistance, it would be very unlikely someone would pick it while you're working out and cutting the lock would be difficult to get away with. For military personnel a lock like this would be great for bags during deployment or wall lockers in a barracks. If a key is lost the shackle can be cut, a beefier lock may require destroying the gear the lock is attached to.
Edit: I would not use a lock like this for outdoor applications such as storage units, sheds, garages, or any other situation where an attacker won't hesitate to use forced entry and leave behind evidence.
How can i be pro like u?
What heavier locks would you recommend for outdoor use?
@@MrFaridNazmi just try to learn.
I am suddenly interested in leather gloves and lock picking. No joke last night I noticed myself looking for old door locks around the house… I’ve never been more compelled to get some new skills. ⛏🔓
The leather gloves are awful, dexterity and feedback go out the window 😂

Not only do you pick the lock, you also teach these companies to make a better lock.
Oh, no, they know very well how to make a good lock. It's just expensive.
@@WhenDoesTheVideoActuallyStart they suck for that.

You are an amazing teacher I have understood everything you've talked about with knowing very little and you have me completely wanting to start lock picking it's fascinating.
I love reading these comments!
@@McNallyOfficial I know with covid and all it's been weird but do you ever do any in person teaching or anything I noticed your p.o. box is roughly in my area
@@samantha-rf6fh Not at the moment, but I do plan to offer training in the future (starting with military, law enforcement, and fire departments)
I agree. LPL and Noob don’t explain things like Bill did. Now that bill has retired it’s nice to see someone right on par with him. I hope you continue to make more long format videos.
Would you teach for building maintenance? I've been trying to teach myself. Mixed Results. @@McNallyOfficial

The man is just helping out in all ways. Not only does he tell you where to get the kit and how to pick the lock. He also tells you exactly how to pick the lock on you wife's heart. 🤣
Imma take the "hit her from the front" in my heart and hopefully I can apply this advice to all facets of my life 🗿
After watching some of your masterlock videos, this gives me some joy.
Just got my 90A Pro, it was quite dirty on the inside with brass shavings all over the internals. But on the bright side, it has the lovely smell of a machine shop, so thumbs up for me. Haven't picked it open (yet), so yes it's keeping me entertained lol
I love this channel. People are always saying that i shouldn't have lock picking as a hobby because it's criminal activity.
That's why my hobby is smoking dope instead. Totally legal here.
Shows where their minds are. You can save someone's life by being able to get into a locked room or what have you.
Hey! I’ve got a green one of these! I actually got it open pretty quick the first time. At first while trying to tension I was afraid it wasn’t stable in that angled position but it hasn’t failed yet. It’s a great lock to pick!
This is the first CZcams I’ve ever actually wanted to like
Loving the detail given. ♥️
Impressive doing that with gloves
Yeah, probably won't do that again lol
I want to see a “pick off” between you and LPL
Interesting to point out the wear and tear the locks receive during use. I didn't anticipate that would ever be a problem or concern aside from rusty or very aged locks.
Hey can you make more vids explaining more in depth how to pick locks
Of course 🤙
Thanks 😊
What I find hilarious is that both the 90A PRO and the American 1100 are both LOTO locks meaning they technically don't even need to be _that_ secure. Any security you get with a LOTO lock is just icing on the cake and not a real requirement.
You lock my world mate! Love it! 🔏💙🔐
Love your content.
Omg the advice for the concerned partner is 💯
This was an interesting hobby its like solving a puzzle

Ur channel is giving me ideas that I normally wouldn't think of

Hey thanks for the recommendation of your buddys channel. Im actually looking for cyber security hints and tricks, so i will give his channel a go! Thanks, and have a great day!
I am an absolute newbie to locksport and have only opened a couple of worn out Master locks from eBay . After watching this video , I decided to quit dicking around and jump into the deep end of the pool . I just ordered a 90 A Pro and it should arrive in about a week . If you start hearing screaming and shrieking from somewhere in Alabama ... it's probably me .
LPL would be proud of this guy ❤
This guy make me wanted to collect the lock just for the sake of it. And start learning lock picking
I'm getting this padlock it took him like 30 seconds to pick instead of all the other ones like 2 seconds.
ok legit question, what lock would you recomend for high security?
bolth you and lpl make it easy to follow lockpicking
Hey man, is there any forum to ask you some basic questions?
Need a gym locker that is resistant to being cut. That’s the game, they cut the lock while you’re working out, and have identical looking replacements. So that when you’re wondering why you’re code or lock isn’t working they’re out spending on you’re credit cards or stealing your car.
Is this really a common tactic? Is this something fairly new?
this was very cool and fun - enjoy the editing and tempo - so WHY is the paclock 90a pro the New Lock du Jour? that 7th pin _ really nice to see the comparison with the 1100.
I'm impressed. It took you more than 10 seconds
Hey! I love your channel! Could you do some stuff on bike locks? I’m especially invested cause I have a really nice triathlon bike I would like to KEEP. any suggestions would be great- yes I know there’s no fool proof way of locking a bike up. But I’d love to make my bike a bitch of a challenge to unlock. ^-^
“You guys did really well”...I was nearly out of my chair heading to make a bowl of popcorn if it would’ve taken any longer...sheez looeez...

Hey @McNallyOfficial. In your opinion, what would be the best lock in this year (2024), for the same application you've mentioned in your pinned comment?

Couldn't manufacturers make a longer lock that exceeds the length of standard lock pick set.
Longer body standard tumbler length. Irrelevant to most applications, still effective.

Any lock McNally can't pick under 0.420s is high quality
Looks like LPL is making McNally pick open a lock normally as punishment for opening the Kingsley combination lock with another Kingsley combination lock.
Is this a 'good' lock?
suitable for low security.....something like a gym locker ☠️
