- In this video, I show you how to transfer games from your Xbox One to your Xbox One X or Scorpio using your network instead of a hard drive.
The video shows in detail the settings that have to be changed to allow each Xbox to see each other across your home network.
The video also shows a game moving across and also time and expected the speed of the game transfer from one Xbox to another.
Link here on how to transfer using a hard drive.
• Transfer Xbox One game... - Hry
Thanks you helped me
The game I chose to transfer didn't work from the screen of cod cold war its sending me to the store to buy it. Same xbox's as you have xbS 2 the Scorpio and I'm using the account I purchased all my games with.
Crafty, last night I tried this. When I initiated the transfer of a game, however, the transfer would stop after about 5 seconds. Any ideas why?
When making this video I had the same problem initially with a couple of the games stopping the network transfer from Xbox to Xbox, the cause was due to one of the games being in the middle of an update or requiring an update also there was an App that had the same issue. The transfer would start and look like it was going and even get to nearly 80% (i think it was Fortnite) then just fail. The reason was both items required updating before the transfer would go. Hope that helps - CD
I’m using this advice when the series x is 2 days away on the 10th.
What about if I do this on my Xbox one and then sell the console. Will I still be able to transfer my saved data from Xbox one to my new console if I sign into my same Xbox account
How do you have two consoles on with one tv/monitor?
(using 1 tv) So they both have to be plugged in at the same time, obviously I’ll only be able to view one at a time, just leave both plugged in and unplug the hdmi from one to the othe when selecting, I’m assuming.
Steve - Hey, yes your exactly right, try to have them both connected to your home network (router) via cable if you can as it will be a lot quicker that way.
I did this but my gta5 says busy
Is it quicker transfering games rather than downloading on store
Got xbox one s but want Xbox one X can i transfer everything over
Calum Smith I’m trying to fo the exact same thing and I’m not sure
Yes everything will transfer as in the video
@@CraftyDoctor tar
Yes
So the game that I bought that I transfered to another Xbox does it need to use the account that I bought it with.
Hey ImperialSpy - Yes is the answer
@@CraftyDoctor oh ok thanks
Hi i transferred but when i try to play the game it says if u have the cd or if u own it and take me to Microsoft store what should I do can u plz help me with this thanx
Hey - You just need to sign in with the Microsoft account you used to buy the games with.
Just barely watching this but does the game stay on both of the xbox or only 1
It’s a copy so you can leave the game on the original as well
what if your not on the same network
Hey Depp - It needs to be on the same network to allow transferring games from one Xbox to another
@@CraftyDoctor oh ok
Will the save data be transferred
If you are logging into your Xbox account when you get the new Xbox then your save games will download automatically or if you watch the video there is a section that I show near the beginning which transfers.
