same here he does a great job emplaining everything but I just wan't to make sure I do this right before I lose more. When it was synching I choose new console by accident instead of xbox live, I need to figure out how to retrieve what was on xbox live as of the 13th when this happend, the fame is forza 4. And it took everything from me. But I guess it's in the cloud so I need to be able to have it synch again but i need to choose that date of when it happend. Please any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
@ChrisCool24 Sorry for some reason I'm just seeing this right now. I did get mine worked out but I had to go through so many things it's insane. What exactly happened as far as you just give me certain details and I'll let you know if you can somehow save it or if there's anything you can do.
@ChrisCool24 When you did this when you are trying to synch it. Was it online or were you trying to just sync the regular game because of its an online thing it's a lot harder to fix you actually have to get ahold of the company and be a complete pain i* t** a**. And unable do something. I lost 900 million dollars and they weren't going to do anything so I wrote them email after email every single day. Finally they took care of me. It sounds like you're just trying to get a different save that isn't online. Is that correct?

This will be a huge help, I've been having issues with an achievement not unlocking recently, and a method involved part of what you shared in the video. I totally forgot that anything you play online would automatically save in the cloud.

Thank you sooo much for this video!! Thought I lost my save file for wreckfest, had to reset my gamer profile. Thanks to this, I was able to delete the new save file on the console. Then I was able get my old save file from the Mythical cloud LoL!!!!

I had an external hard drive formatted by a customer support assistant, but because of that she had all of my data deleted from the external hard drive, and now I don't know how to get it back. She says I can access the cloud and retrieve it from there, but where the hell do I go to access the cloud to get my data back if she is not mistaken about the cloud?

Ok so my Xbox died, wont turn on, my saved games are on my internal HDD, so my saved games are fine? Because im not sure if you have to like activate the cloud before or something, because I dont think I did, or are they saved automatically? I just need to load my GT to a new Xbox and thats it? Or idk if this works but, ive taken my HDD out of my broken Xbox One, can I install it to another Xbox and will it work and my saved games will be there? Thanx!

microsoft backs up your download games and all dlcs if you where to break your xbox they would give back all your games and profile when you buy a new xbox1

start the game it will sync from cloud your old files. not very user friendly. I thought my data was gone, at first!

I'm going to be coming from 360 do you have to leave your games on cloud and it copyes your saves to be able to play them or once your on Xbox one do you have to transfer your saves from your cloud to your hard drive on Xbox one?
A thing as well with storage, if you uninstall a game from a disc, you can not access the games saved data. I need to re install Halo 5 and Dying light, to delete the saved data. So now I will have to lend the games off of someone to do so
It's weird the gamerpoc he said he normally uses is the one I had on but before he even said and he went to change his gamerpoc I went to change mines and then went back to that one
Hello so I'm in a bit of a dilemma and I was hoping you could help.
My old Xbox went out on me and we don't have internet here. However, I went to a friend's house just to do updates the other day so I was on Xbox live then. That was the first time I've been on live in awhile. I'm getting a new Xbox tomorrow. Will my data be on the cloud even if I didn't start up my games?
hey bud quick question. can you use a thumb drive to remove the syncing problem of losing saved files? right now I'm having the issue where the xbox is trying to sync but stops at 99% . iv tried the youtube fixes for this but i ended up with missing saves on my game so i deleted the game and am reinstalling it, if this doesn't work is there another way to retrieve or permanently fix this bug?

Hey Scratch, I enabled my clould storage on my 360 and put 3 games onto it.Then I went onto my xbox one and cant seem to get those games onto my xbox one.Do I need to buy those games off the market again? Dose the cloud storage dave the game or just the progress on it?
+TDD LordPivot your backwards compatible games you own will show up in ready to download all the way to the right in "Games and Apps" on your Xbox One. Not every 360 game is currently available (there are about 170 with more coming). Some games you'll need to move the save on your 360 to access it but the game should automatically show up in ready to download.
When try to start up my fallout 4 it just says syncing data and counting for an incredibly long time, but I've never seen it stop what do I do?

For me i used to have the problem but i just quit the game and went on it again and it just worked

My sons Xbox is on a children’s profile, and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to change certain settings so he can play multiplayer. I hope saving his game on the cloud will keep his progress, because I think I have to do a hard reset and put his profile as an adult.
so im going away for weekend to my family batch which has no internet if i play assassins creed syndicate for the weekend offline when i get home will all my progress be updated on the cloud when i get home and connect it back to the net or will it override the progress ive made over the weekend ??

I know this is an older video but I had a quick question I have been trying to figure out. Can you essentially save scum using this offline online trick with dark souls 3? Like I can unplug my internet from Xbox one then load dark souls do something in game and if I don't like it I can delete saved data then plug internet back in so it loads from the cloud before I made any of those choices in game? Please let me know if this seems possible or you have done something like this
it could work. just wouldn't do it a lot in some games you need to be online for certain features. in theory it could work.

None of my games show saved data on the management screen - I don't see any indication that the saves are being uploaded to the cloud. Was there an update that changed how it looks since this vid?
not sure if u can answer a few questions i have but thought i'd ask anyway. There are a few games i got under games with gold while a member and i don't see any of those games under my games for the games with gold even tho i kno i got them during the free period why is that? These games are Earthlock: Festival of Magic, Forza Motorsport 5, and Killer Instinct season 2. Why is this? Is it possible because my download queque is full? Lastly if i wanna transfer the games i purchased and downloaded to the xbox 1 to my external harddrive how do i do that?

Hello scratch plays I have a question and I was wondering if you could help me with my question.
So I recently had Xbox live which I don't have no more and Everytime I'd play a game the game would pause and I'd have to clear my local saved games after restarting my console but now every time I play a game like gta 5 nothing never saves and I'll have to restart missions from the very beginning, how can I save those games onto my Xbox one if not could I possibly use a hard drive???!?!????

So as long as I didn't hit delete everywhere my save will still be on the cloud? That's a relief, I can't remember if I deleted my Witcher 3 save after putting 100+ hours in but I can't imagine I did. Either way, I wouldn't have touched the delete everywhere option. Thank you!

Will your saves and stuff stay on there forever so like if you don’t use your Xbox live profile for a year they’ll still be on there when you get back on an Xbox.

How about when I sold my xbox one and all the installed games that i bought online have not been uninstalled before selling, will I still retrieve the games or possibly appear when I sign in on my account when I buy a new xbox one?
I'm so annoyed. So when my Xbox One only shows local saved data for some reason, so when I delete it I automatically get it back when trying to start a new game because it syncs with the cloud. But I can't access the cloud saved games anywhere it seems! When I go to settings and storage, it gives me the option to only delete ALL local saved games, but still nothing about the cloud. I know I have cloud enabled because I cannot start a new game without cloud syncing me to me old one. In fact, I turned off my router, started a new one, then turned it back on and restarted my Xbox. It asked me to pick between the new game on my Xbox or my cloud stored game. I picked the new one, and it still synced my cloud game. I'm so irritated, any solution to this issue?

Okay well im a little late to the party my friend but, I have figured it out. You have to go through the xbox360 menu not the xbox1. How you get to the 360 menu through the xbox one is by pressing the start and back button together, specifically when playing a game thats compatible, then you should be able to access cloud storage from there. I've been raging the past several hours figuring this out, but now you have it :D
My problem is that I am game sharing with my friend and using his gold on my home Xbox, I went to a friends house and it synced and the newer version had nothing on it when it synced and I lost all progress in my game. Is there a possible way to re sync the old cloud storage?

Hi scratch here's my question I have been playing Fifa 17 ultimate team since last year on Xbox one. A friend has Fifa 17 on xbox 360. He said that if we download my Xbox profile on his console it will automatically load my fut team and we can play it from there. When I loaded up it came up with a brand new team I thought it had overwritten my team and was really mad about it. When I loaded up Fifa back at home on my x1 it comes up with the new team name on the title screen but all my players and achievements are still there. So my question is if I delete the team on x360 will it delete everything on the x1 as well.

thx a lot, but your video did not help me unfortunately , i'm sure you know forza horizon 1 is BC on xbox one, i played like 300 hours on it with all DLC 's , but i wish i could play it from the start on the same profile that have the gold membership, but when i launched the game for the first time on X1, it didn't ask if i wanted to DL my old savegame or create a second one, and that is the question , i can start a new game by deleting the save stored on my HDD, keeping the old one in the cloud, but i wish to save this second run too . will this overwrite the first save ? does the cloud allow's you to store multiple version of a save even if the game seems to have only a single save slot like forza games ?? if there is nothing i can do, i'm a beta tester of Xbox new dashboard, i got an external HDD always plugged in with all my games and DLC installed there, can i copy the original save to the external drive for exemple ? and have the newest one for my second run on the console internal HDD ? does the cloud will show both saves ? the system is not perfect even if it's free even for non Gold members and with no siza limits compared to sony's. but it's more closed...

hey mate my name is NJ just a quick question I play FIFA 16 with my brother but he's got a disability so he deletes all the gameplay but try to save it to to external hard drive so if you did delete it be backed up on one but for some reason it's not backed up on the other one but it was before when you delete it from the Xbox cloud would you lose it even if it's on a different favour can a thing like external hard drive because it's on the Xbox if you delete from the Xbox should still be on the hard drives

+Noe Gomez as long as you're connected to Live your saves and purchase data will be on the cloud. With Xbox One they sync automatically. On the 360 you have to move the save manually.

my main issue here is I've spent 3 hours trying to figure out how to use cloud saves on Xbox one. It keeps saying "it's automatic" and "go to settings and storage" or "manage game" now I finally realised what's been frustrating the shit out of me about all this. it's correct the "save your file" is in all these locations. there's like a few hundred mb of saves for each game. I didn't want the save files in the cloud like the way your "save here" saves. I wanted to store the entire fucking game in the cloud like I did on the Xbox 360. I have only installed like 10 games on the Xbox one and now all 300 gb are taken up and I can't pay for cloud storage or whatever I was doing before on the 360 so two games won't even play because Xbox one updates each game automatically and even the update files are GB each so I have no option to extradite the storage. I even got OneDrive and there no option to uninstall a game and reinstall a game to OneDrive. I'm just like "ohhhhh shittt no." I even went to some forms to look for this same topic and found the same topic where a guy was complaining about no cloud storage and no individual save and delete options for his games but then he got banned because a big argument started and as far as I know the topic was just resolved as "that's just how that is"

How do I know if my game is synced to the cloud? There doesn't seem to be an icon or representation that it's synced when viewing the game save. Has that changed since 2015
