If I plug my external hard drive (the large green one that they sell for about 200 dollars) into an Xbox One X will all of my games automatically download to my X, and if so will my game progress still be saved too?

can I use the console after first update and play games offline?
Please help me, my Xbox once I get to the network tab, it’s says I’m “all connected” or “all good” and then takes me BACK to the language tab instead of moving on to the location tab. Any ideas what to do from there? It’s preventing me from finishing my setup it just sends me back to language instead of to location & the next tabs.

Jason Matthew, I never stand mine up. That’s just me because you do put your console at risk standing it up. It says so on the Microsoft website.

You want to be hard wired? If so, you just plug the ethernet cable into the back of the xbox from your router.

Is it normal to have those fingerprint like dark spots on your xbox. Look at 0:20 is there anyway to remove them?
Or look at 0:08 there's those dark fingerprint like spots from hand prints etc. How do you clean those cause I have the same thing
@@propaks8241 Use a clean dry microfiber cloth at first and see if that helps. If not lightly appy some rubbing alcohol to the cloth, then quickly wipe dry with another.
Did you plug in the Ethernet to the tv?
For the ethernet or lan U plug it into you're modem or router what ever U call it in you're region or country and to the console not the tv cos it doesn't support ethernet cable.

Having the original xbox one and model S I noticed that xbox is not much for kids its mostly teens and above it requires updating most of the time online consistent for updates

Man, i just want the simplest way to plug an XBox One X in to my television.. i dont have cable tv and i only have wireless (no ethernet). I have an apple tv already plugged in to my tv and wanted to know if i could easily plug this in to my TV without having to unplug my apple tv.

These videos are useful. The tv were trying to set it up with is glitching out so it was useful in the meantime to see what all the menus were even though they was blurred out on the tv.
I'm getting it for my kids and don't care about gaming .. But I care about my 500 and getting the most for my dollar. I always read manuals and research.. Might miss something.

Why there is two hdmi
One is an hdmi input, for connecting an hd cable or satellite box etc to. The other one is hdmi output, that the one you connect to your hd T.V.

THERE IS ALSO ANOTHER HDMI PROBLEM WITH XBOX ONEX… ONLY THE HDMI OUT IS HDMI 4K HDR PASSABLE. THE HDMI IN IS ONLY 1080P PASSIBLE. SO THE XBOX ONE X IS NOT A SYSTEM THAT WOULD ALLOW 4K CABLE PROVIDER PASSTHRU VIA THE XBOX SYSTEM.

This video is focus on the basic/most common setup for the Xbox One X. The IR port isn't a commonly used feature so that would be best shown in a separate video. We'll see about making one in the near future . Thanks!

sector7 33 well the base set up for xbox takes about 250 gb
witiss lafontaine they should put 1TB plus 250 so it can start at 1TB of actual space
