Pique is an underrated CB. To be doing it at the top level for this long is unbelievable.

Terrible defender. Once tikitaka and 90% possession was gone, he was exposed repeatedly in very important matches.
You know that Christmas party was incredible if Pique after 15+ years still uses it as a reference on best party he has been too.
Pique talking about Xmas party in Manchester had me smiling, he was so excited like a kid when he mentioned that.
I’m a Madrid fan but Piqué is always great in interviews, he just speaks his mind 😆
I love how everyone just gets on with Garry he makes every interview so comfortable obvs he knew pique from his time in Manchester but even like Tyson fury , aj , Kane etc, one of the best journalists/pundit/ interviewer in the country
He's also a well known figure but he's humble and disarming so it's perfect.

I think Gary's best quality is that he's happy to make fun of himself, and takes it well when others make fun of him. Makes him more approachable

A true defensive genius. People might beat him in pace but the guy is legend in positioning and passing.
This is a big step for the overlap. It’s all been British PL players so far I think, getting big players from other leagues is massive. Gary is a great interviewer.
Very smart from neville, starting with a few european united players then the show will be big enough for him to interview pretty much anyone

The underrating of Pique never ceases to amaze me. Bloke was world class for a full decade (2008/09-2018-19), five of which he was a top 5 CB in the world. Won everything there is to win and he’s still at a decent level.
He succeeded in teams and systems where it’s traditionally difficult for CBs, yet he excelled in them despite the high lines or being extremely exposed when his side have the ball. He didn’t get to hide in medium/deep blocks like Godin, Chiellini etc. The ultimate modern day CB in his prime and a legend.

This interview was made less than a year, he speak about Alves (Now in jail), and Shakira as her woman, and he was a football player of Barça and now he is retired it´s amazing how things can change in a short time period. In my life too, when this interview was released i have different thoughts about different topics and different mindsets. So if you are in a hard time, think about can life change

Ofc he’s one of the greatest CBs. Due to recency bias, people judge him from his final couple of years. They forget that he’s literally the most successful CB ever.. 2 trebles, WC, Euros.. absolutely everything.
