  • I am all about affordability and accessibility of skincare products. We don't have to break the bank especially for cleansers and moisturizers (okay sometimes I will splurge on a few great moisturizers). Here are my fav picks at the drugstore!

You are my favorite skincare CZcamsr! I love that you give affordable options

  • @milicamarshastefanovich3312

I’m 51 with dry skin and I use most of the products that he’s recommended. My top picks are CeraVe cream to foam cleanser. Absolutely fantastic product. CeraVe ultra light moisturizer with spf 35. It’s moisturizing, lightweight and miraculously doesn’t affect my rosacea. For night, the OG Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Cream and I pair it with the oil that goes with it. I do have a few other products that I add into my routine but good skin care doesn’t have to break the bank. The key is consistency.

Totally agree! What works for one, doesn’t work for another!
65, dry skin. Cerave just doesn’t agree with me, except the cream for body.
I use Vanicream gentle cleanser (only use a little or it can be drying. I only use at night after oil cleanse. I just splash water on face in morn). Vanicream cream on face and body. Aquafor/vaseline on lips. Use derm’s retinol at night. EVY Kids Sunscreen on face/chest. Doesn’t irritate my eyes. Only sunscreen that doesn’t break me out/or irritate. I can’t wear Vitamin C. Vanicream’s mineral sunscreen makes my skin feel icky. Was so hopeful it would be a winner!

Versed and e.l.f. also are affordable drugstore brands. Vaseline is also good for protecting areas that you might want to keep retinoids from (corners of eyes and nose, lips).

Thank you Dr Sugai for these wallet-friendly options! I am older but still have fairly oily skin. I recently tried Cerave SA cleanser and my skin is SO much better for it! Cerave PM lotion and Hydrating Hyaluronic Serum along with Neutrogena Clear Face sunscreen over their Daily Moisturizer for Reactive Skin round out my normal daily routine. And I alternate between Tretinion and Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair at night.
After over thirty years of using (and loving the results of) Estee Lauder, they have just priced their products out of my budget. When ONE of their serums cost more than my ENTIRE budget routine (including an RX retinol) I just couldn't justify the purchase any longer, so thank you for you recommendations!

I use the Cera Ve foaming cleanser from my face to my waist. Very small amount needed. The PM moisturizer is in my car and home for all hours. Doesn't irritate my eyes. The cost on Amazon is good.😅

Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing this video :) My skin seems to be getting more sensitive 😏 I use fragrance free skin care - Neutrogena and Vanicream. The Ultra Gentle cleanser from Neutrogena has been my favorite for over 5 years 🥰 I also use the Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion , and SPF 30 sunscreen - the texture is lightweight and applies very nicely on the skin without any white cast. Take care everyone 🌹

Enjoy the information you share very much! Would be very interested in your opinion of the ROC Retinol Correxion night serum capsules? I have purchased and begun to use them. Loving the convenience of the premeasured capsules. I turned 60 this year and am a first time retinol user. I have had no irritation after 2 months use. I'm concerned these may be ineffective. Thank you in advance for your opinion.

Hi Dr Sugai. Do u have a clinic in DC or Maryland? My grandson has bad acne n he was being treated by his doc but nothing seems to work!
Also, I know u might not see this cuz u have tons of texts but crossing my fingers:😊 can u suggest a great anti aging whole body moisturizer? We always focus on the face n forget abt the body. I see a lot but I’m skeptical to buy them. I’ve almost watched all ur videos n have my friends n family subscribed to ur channel. U r a God’s sent! I stopped watching all my prev subscribed beauty/other doc related channels n just focused on yours! U r genuine n just a nice person! It comes thru! Hopefully, you’ll see my question n give us suggestions on anti aging whole body moisturizers unless I overlooked it in ur channel. Thanks n God bless u n ur family always n thanks a million for ur valuable information.

I'm early 30's, menopausal due to stage 4 endometriosis, had a full hysterectomylast spring. My hormones have wrecked havoc on my skin. Breakouts all over my face, neck, scalp, chest, back, and lower back.
Salicylic acid no longer is working, I'm horribly allergic to benzoyl peroxide.
My acne is inflamed and cystic. They need to be extracted as they pop out as small pearls and/or grains of rice leaving deep holes in my skin.
I do not know what to do, everything my dermatologist has tried either doesn't work, I cannot take the medications because they interact with my life saving medications, or I'll see results briefly, and after using for 6+ weeks; I am back at square one.
I am at the point where I don't want to leave the house. I cannot wear any makeup as it causes a flare-up.
Any help or suggestions are very much appreciated 🙏
