Really appreciate the compare videos. More for us in the over 50 category, please!
Over 60 too
I love ultra version. I had been using it for a long time! It's so light, I can actually re-apply over my make up during the day 😊
Good to know! Sometimes I wish I could reapply in the afternoon but always worried about my makeup
I can swear by the CeraVe skin tint SPF
It is AMAZING under makeup.
Thanks ❤ have a blessed weekend 🤙🤍🌷
You too, my friend!
My husband uses that CeraVe AM & loves it♥️♥️♥️
Go Men's skincare!!!
I love the AM. Been using for years.
Great to hear!
I love cerave mineral tinted. So good
one of my favs!!
Great video would love to see you compare drugstore tinted SPF moisturizers Including Cetaphil redness relief tinted spf 40 personally I think it’s fantastic but doesn’t get much love.
I agree, it doesn’t get much love but it’s a fantastic tinted spf. That’s my daily go to and I do enjoy the CeraVe ultra light as well. It’s the only chemical spf that doesn’t burn my face.
This help me a lot thank you
Great to hear 😊🙏🤙
CeraVe for sure, I change it up with AmLactin depending on which is less expensive when I'm ready to buy...they are almost identical though CeraVe is more available in stores and AmLactin is more online
I recently picked up the European version of the AM. It's just a bit lighter but enough to be much better.
That’s interesting! Glad they’re improving the formula
Love the compare videos especially when it is affordable! Is there much of a difference between LRP hyaluronic acid and Vichey? I wonder about the difference between their vit c serums too. Which is better for over 60 mature skin ?
My Dermatologist recommended, and I have been using it for years, Neutrogena Hyro Boost+ their special Helioplex.
Great picks 👍
Love the Ultra Light Cerave for the winter time. I find it to be very oily on my skin for the summer time.
Yes I know Dr Dray always recommended Cerave products
I agree Cerave with the sunscreen is too thick and it smells like sunscreen. I would like to try the lighter one and will have to look for it.
Thank you so much really appreciate you and your videos. I am 43 combo skin no idea where or who to go with for anti aging. Don't want something to heavy my skin is not dry but not really oily either. Maybe a video on where to start. ❤
I was using the CeraVe skincare products for many years until the products changed 😏 I've been using the Neutrogena Creamy fragrance free cleanser and many products from Vanicream - the SPF 30 sunscreen is lightweight with a matte finish - no white cast 🥰 Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing this video . Take care everyone 🌹
HI I appreciate your comparison reviews! I would love a review of Cetaphil Derma Control oil Absorbing Moisturizer with Sunscreen. I don't have oily skin but, I use it because it is on the list of recommended sunscreens from my dermatologist and feels light weight. But I haven't seen any reviews of it, and I wonder why? I love that it's lightweight, but worry that their might be something drying to the skin in it (it is "oil absorbing... after all). My skin is already on the dry side.
Honesty here: I too love CeraVe moisturizers which I use all year around as both face and body lotions. The SPF face protection I use all year around is Olay SPF 15 for sensitive skin. In my favor, I avoid the sun as much as possible but I do walk Manhattan streets and as much as I can stay on the shady side of the street. Which means I do get some sun while I'm crossing over to the shady side of a sidewalk. Once summer arrives I also wear visors to keep the sun off my face. I use Olay SPF 15 because it's not as thick as SPF 30 or 50. Now that I think of it I top it with L'Oreal Miracle Blur which has SPF 30 but I doubt you use enough of it to replace regular sunscreen. Do do you say, Dr. Sugai?
Can you also please make a video with some recommendations for stretch marks? I lost weight recently and got stretch marks everywhere on my body. Thanks.
Congrats!
Thank you so much! Cheers to more fun here
Absolutely! Love your channel!
💗
In EU we have different versions of Cerave sunscreens 😮
I'm not a fan of the AM day lotion as it leaves that whitish cast of the SPF and doesn't spread that well. I may try one of the others you covered in the video. Thanks!
I agree, I bought it but don’t want to use it now that I see how it is hard to rub in, and it has that white cream effect
@@christined2495 i agree, i chucked mine.
Hope you like the ultra light one- texture is much more sophisticated 👍
@@danielsugaimd I hope so too! Meantime I've been adding just a dot of the hydrating ointment to the AM moisturizer to help it spread better. The cast is less noticeable to me when I do that. I already don't have deeply pigmented skin and I'm definitely not looking for a product that makes me paler as I often go without makeup.
Same here, I bought that CeraVe SPf 30 AM, did not see that it’s oil free. It applies thick and hard to spread, tends to accumulate on my dry spots. I bought the Walgreens SPF 30, works really well, easy to spread, no whitish cast.
La Roche Posay and Elemis pro colagen spf 30
I've liked and used the LRP double repair SPF 30 and I have darker skin. Can you compare the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Moisturizing Face Serum with Vitamin E & SPF 60 and the Neutrogena Invisible Daily Defense Face Serum with Broad Spectrum SPF 60+? I know the latter has red dye which might not work for some. Also, Olay has reformulated and brought back their Prime + Protect Mattifying Facial Sunscreen SPF 35.
Awesome suggestions and adding to the list! The LRP Toleriane is great 👍
I’ve used both the AM and the ultra light and definitely prefer the ultra light between the two because of its more matte, clean feeling texture. The AM feels too heavy and takes effort to rub the white smears out when applying. I’m in my mid-20s and am still somewhat oily and acne prone, but I use a benzoyl peroxide cleanser in the morning and a salicylic acid + niacinimide cleanser in the evening, so I’m not worried about the ultra light moisturizer not having niacinimide to combat any breakouts.
I used the AM for years but switched to the Ultra light because the AM was pilling under makeup and suncreen. Ultra light is more expensive per ounce but does not pill
Gold bond is excellent
I will try the lighter sunscreen for my face.
Dr, may i ask: how old are you?
Your skin looks incredibly nice!
Please do a review on skinscience better MYSTO vs EVEN TONE
unfortunately, you can't buy cerave in my country, but i've got samples when they were on a market, the am lotion stang my eyes so bad.... unlike the chemical one!
Can you compare the cetaphil lotions please 🙏
Kinda wish they’d make 50spf version. I would get the La Roche but that one isn’t a moisturizer SPF combo…unless I’m mistaken.
They do have 50spf
And Gold Bond Products
I use them both. I use the AM for my everyday...but primarily stay at home or yardwork, etc. I use the lightweight when I am going out and about. If I am doing eye makeup, that means I am out & about. I take dance classes, I find the AM is just to heavy for dance class...sticky tacky sweaty face!
US chemical filters burn my eyes so bad 😢. I may try the light one and try to keep away from the eyeballs
Sorry to hear- may need to stick with zinc oxide sunscreens as it is important to protect the eyelid skin!
Last summer I tried the tinted moisturizer and hated it. It was so hard to completely remove at night, even after double cleansing. The next morning, I still had traces of it on my face. It sticks to the skin like clay. I won’t be using it again.
I have a question
AFTER I USE MY LA ROCHE POSAY CLEANSER FOR 60 sec
CAN I THEN MOISTURIZE IT WITH CERAVEE DAILY LOTION
I use the pm for the day. Great under makeup! The daytime with spf pills horribly under makeup. Awful!
Hey, i have oily skin and also whiteheads which of the two should i use?
And Neutrogena products
Does it matter If you are using an spf over your moisturizer vs a moisturizer with SPF?
It should not matter just as long as you use enough sunscreen or moisturizer with spf for it to give you adequate coverage (1/4tsp amount to the face)
Not for me. I have VERY dry skin. No acne in my teens.
♥️♥️♥️
I feel like he must be sponsored by Cerave since he reviews them a lot
:D
Have an awesome Saturday!
They are so bad
