Cole and Kelly both have ginger hair. Cole said they looked too much like brother and sister. She wears a blond wig and he dyed his hair to look more intimidating. He also had to gain 20 pounds for the role. It's done all the time. Marlon Brando stuffed cotton in his cheeks for the role of The Godfather. IT'S CALLED ACTING. Cole is perfect in this role.

Rip is a character played by a Ginger wimp who had to dye his hair for a part in a show. Sorry, but Cole Hauser is anything BUT a tough guy.
Not wrong about his hair being dyed, that was a big shocker when I found that out! I think the guy is just analyzing how the show itself portrays the type of character that Rip is, rather than who he is being played by right? I don't know Cole Hauser personally; however, I am sure he has some values, being a husband and father, that he takes away from the fictional character Rip.
I can tell you really hate gingers and non fictional characters lol. Relax rooster, not everything should be taken so personally. Have a laugh instead, It'll take you alot further.
