Bought full video as now have forks spring compressor - local shop charge £60 to shorten spacers refit etc. Thanks video shares all that's necessary as opposed to Suzuki manual and many on You Tube who omit how to set up rebound adjuster properly, so simple when you know how. Thanks Dave much appreciated.

Using a shifter on the aluminium fork nuts mars them. Try a metrinch wall drive socket with some tape or thin rag to protect the aluminium. The fork caps have a very shallow nut height. I put metrinch sockets in a lathe and turn the lead in off so it has zero lead in and makes full contact with the wall height of the fork cap hex head.
Alternatively there are hex spanners available with plastic inserts. Some fork caps have the hex recessed slightly with a dish. This gives less wall height if using flat spanners. Sockets work better for those caps.
