I’d just like to say, it really doesn’t take months to learn how to build an FPV drone. When I was getting started 2 years ago, the most difficult part was actually finding what components I needed and which would work together well. All in all it look way less then a month (when not counting shipping times) from planning to maiden flight.
I've had this drone gifted to me a month ago and its the best toy I've ever gotten! I used to have a FPV racing drone and this tops it with every feature it has. The only difference is that my racing drone is much faster and responsive. DJI FPV is like the Mercedes Benz of the car world. So smooth and the videos come out amazing.
@@shamsulnajib2158 I have smashed mine into pavement..fast!...picked it up,looked it over and flew again. This thing would not survive what mine and many other diy builds would.
Built my first "race kwad" a couple of years ago. I had to learn so much stuff!!! HUGE learning curve. PC stuff, betaflight, solder, electronics.... Holy smokes it took me like 6 weeks. So much learning of different things things. I forgot my point.....
Keep it. It is much more suited for the job it does than this drone, and this drone does not at all accomplish what it was supposed to. For fast shots like chasing drifting cars or diving waterfalls, a real 5" FPV drone is still miles better in performance and a HERO9 will yield better quality video. To top it off, proper FPV drones can crash hard over and over and over and still fly without need for repair. This... not so much.
The Simulator alone is a game changer - I’ve always wanted a drone, I’d bought a crappy £100 one to try it out and god it’s a learning curve. As a gamer, an FPV drone feels right to me, and a simulator would give me a hell of a lot more confidence as a pilot
ive had this drone since last thursday, ive never flown fpv before.im still doing the simulator but im getting the hang of it now.ive got a mavic 2 and had the mavic pro, they are a piece of cake.this however is a different ballpark, the simulator is very helpful trust,im not flying until ive mastered the sim :)

@@bliby6706 that's because mainly all positive comments are either paid ad or from people who know nothing about fpv at all. That toy wouldn't last a single minor crash, just check out Joshua Bardwell's review on it.
@@vitorxavier8257 incorrect, this drone is perfect for beginners who are trying to learn fpv. For example my father doesn't have the time or experience to invest into a traditional fpv drone, and even less so to learn the software, research the hardware, etc. Something like this is perfect for him because it offers the same "training wheels" that other dji hover drones offer with more safety features for beginners to learn acro mode.
I bought the very first DJI and got some amazing footage at the time, then I broke it and it's been years. This one got me back in, massive thumbs up on the DJI and great review man, thanks
I order this drone (fpv combo) and I hardly wait that the package come. Everyone talk that this is one of the best drones in the market right now The only thing I miss on that drone is active track or follow me feature. I hope that Dji will give this feature in all drones.

I just got a mavic 3 and I’m also going to make this DJI fpv drone my next purchase I’ve been flying model aircrafts and drones all kinds of RC’s for 13 years now and I seriously wanna get into fpv so excited
finally got to fly this today. very nice, has a lot to offer. It is a mixed bag of camera drone and FPV. I will say that after flying it for a morning, I almost had to relearn the FPV controls again. Its just different. At its best, it is not FPV racing by any means and you will not see one in competition. This is smooth FPV, nice banks, proper...not hair on fire crazy wicked. We will see if there is a market for this, and if there is, then it will come from the Camera side, because the FPV side might find it interesting for a few days but will find it is not what they are about. Can you imagine crashing this and waiting weeks and months to send it in and getting it repaired? Nor can I. It is possible that some of these features might bleed into the traditional FPV market. Also, $1300 is not a beginners price point. But...well done job DJI, it is quite a machine. Time will tell who the audience will be. Some of these features will bleed into other DJI drones for sure. My largest peeve with it is the battery is used as the rear landing point for the drone. At $150 per, kinda crazy to keep bumping that thing on landings.
I do think the DIY aspect of FPV a couple years ago adds to the fun of the hobby, and it also showed that when someone was getting sick FPV shots, they were good at their craft. Lowering the bar and making things more accessible is cool and all, but it's always sad to see an era of skill pass.
Pretty awesome still waiting for *Mavic 3* tho. This is cool shots and all but a lot of the times my main cam footage is the main portion of the video, that might need a supplement of aerials. If its sport/commercial related content, this is simply killer for them adrenaline vids.
So funny man you trying to compare our hobby grade drone to the videographer type drone from dji that added fpv shooting style. What you're intended to do with this drone? freestyle? definitely this one is not for you.
@@hobbywars7797 what I find insane is how much effort DJI put into selling this drone to our community. Any pilot with enough followers got one, it's crazy! They plastered their teasers all over the various fpv groups... but we don't even want it, it was clear from the start. And if they wanted to target videographers who signed off on having props in view?
Eine hervorragende Einführung in die FPV Drohne von DJI, sehr gut fachlich und sehr gut verständlich erläutert. Gute Aufnahmen, keine Show, keine Sprüche. Sehr seriös, kompetent und mit Charme. Over all sehr sehr gut.
This drone is great for long range, mountain surfing, etc. Never fly it in 4K. FPV is too fast for 4K. 1080P 60 looks great, and the best thing about this quad is that you can't lose it because it hovers when the signal gets weak. This means you never reach the point of a lost signal. As an experienced pilot, I love my builds so much better. This quad just sits on the shelf at my place.
@@me-vo3di As i remember they recall it back after review but i may be wrong. Also these people don't mind 1.3k$. they can just pay it. So the title is just clickbait for views.
It sounds really amazing and I'm inspired by everything except the price) But let's make some aspects more clear. 4-6 minutes is definitely not a limit for fpv, you can build your own set to reach even an hour of flight time if you need. A lot of ready-to-fly fpv sets are available and you don't have to solder and tune everything if you don't need a really special project. 4K/60 and great digital stabilization you can get by using a go*** camera or any similar device. It should survive in any case except being lost. If speed is your obcession you can get up to 250 km/h with special racing fpv drone. And place a gps/glonass module to.bring drone back. Fpv world has most of these features, but needs much more of your attention (btw it takes time, but helps you to develop your brain) So, dji made a really good set with a competitive capabilities and great smart options, but it's not the best in everything at once. Maybe this kit will be my next flying avatar ))
there is not other drone in the normal consumer market (lets say for dummies) that has those capabilities at that price, without having to know a thing about drone assembly... or can you tell me the brand and model of it? (again, for dummies)
Drone community, maybe. But fpv is a whole other area. That toy is just too fragile and underpowered and should not ever be compared to fpv quadcopters.
I would say there would be more people like to fly FPV but don’t want to bother to make it by themselves. Not everyone is a maker, and even someone can build FPV drone like me, I just don’t want to get the hand dirty.
@@galaxy00hk no doubt that there are people that would prefer the easy way. The phrase " taking over" is the wrong part. Fpv has two main categories, racing and freestyle and a new growing, cinematic. How can a product that is not suitable for fpv racing nor fpv freestyle take over fpv?
Ya in Lockdowns, do you really think anyone has money for this expensive Thing... And btw it's going to expensive to repair this thing unlike assembled FPV

Configuring betaflight can longer then building the quad itself.
I am a simple man I see a video of Kold I click
world class review 🙏🏼 this thing looks awesome!
没错,但是有些中国博主说明了一些问题。对于类似kold这样的穿越机专业飞手来说,并不能替代现有穿越机的位置,比如整体设计是流线型,不易于做出丰富的飞行动作。更多的是给了大众一个新的选择。
It's not a review.
It's paid advertisement.
And it's not honest. This drone is a joke.
Lul the dji won't even survive a crash huhuhuhu to be compared with carbon fiber frame
@@shamsulnajib2158 I have smashed mine into pavement..fast!...picked it up,looked it over and flew again. This thing would not survive what mine and many other diy builds would.
The best thing about new dji products is we get Sam to upload ❤️
cape town + sam kolder + drone = epic footage ( kolder a legend)
Built my first "race kwad" a couple of years ago. I had to learn so much stuff!!! HUGE learning curve. PC stuff, betaflight, solder, electronics.... Holy smokes it took me like 6 weeks. So much learning of different things things. I forgot my point.....
Kolder Creative brought me here, LETS GO!!!!
Pumped to fly this beast too🔥 I love it already
So what the hell am I supposed to do with my Mini 2 now???
Right lol
Use it. They are different machines.
Travel :) it passes nearly all regulations
Don’t crash it
The Simulator alone is a game changer - I’ve always wanted a drone, I’d bought a crappy £100 one to try it out and god it’s a learning curve.
Shoutout from a Cape Town local for that cool footage from Oudekraal.
Beautiful footage filmed in my back yard - welcome to South Africa!
This looks sick!!
if you mean sick as in not well, than i agree. You show up with that drone, dont be surprised if people ask who the father is and how far along. its a pregnant selfie drone.
Wake up alone is such a masterpiece
@@tenToesUp747 whats with the hate comments you spray on this channel dude? Did he f your mom or somthin? 😂
I bought myself a flywoo explorer and don't need how to solder and stuff, so im happy this is out
I order this drone (fpv combo) and I hardly wait that the package come. Everyone talk that this is one of the best drones in the market right now The only thing I miss on that drone is active track or follow me feature. I hope that Dji will give this feature in all drones.
through all the reviews that just dropped about it, Sam Kolder’s was the one I was looking for
And that is a mistake. Watch Joshua Bardwell's review or Ken Heron's for some important thoughts about it. This is just a comercial. A good one so, be carefull.
Guys this is not a review. This is a paid commercial. Go watch Joshua Bardwell or Fincky's reviews if you actually want some useful information about this drone.
The things you do for money
@Sometimescloudy I think every review that says anything negative, take more, just neutral about DJI should be considered biased and banned from the internet.
I heard that music literally when it had no views, and now everyone knows that music😂 LUX
What is the music in the beginning of the video?
The only review that is *BETTER* than actual commercial :) Well done! Sold and Ordered!
It's an actual comercial too, a good one. Not a review. Good luck
@Helix In Wonderland it's hard to distinguish the review from commercials these days when video quality and production on youtube is getting that *EPIC* !
@@JetSurfingNation Yes. You have to do a lot of research to begin to distinguish who knows what is talking about. I think a good reviwer should ask who is this product for. Not just if it's good or bad. I'm certain this one will have its place and use. Good luck and enjoy. Happy flying, FPV is great anyway.
I've been waiting for a cinematic drone video with this song lmao

Let's explore in Indonesia, because Indonesia is very beautiful and the people are very friendly.
These FPV centric youtubers get so impressed with something cinematic drones have had for so long now.
Great video !
But you can also set normal FPV drones to switch to acro or stabilize mode using the auxiliary sticks, so the feature is not entirely new. Overall great stuff by DJI.

Knew I had to come when I saw the notification!
I do think the DIY aspect of FPV a couple years ago adds to the fun of the hobby, and it also showed that when someone was getting sick FPV shots, they were good at their craft. Lowering the bar and making things more accessible is cool and all, but it's always sad to see an era of skill pass.
when you crash DIY drone...you order "broken" parts, fix it,and fly again. with DJI fpv drone, you crash it,and your 1k $ goes in trash bin
Are you kidding me, allowing more people to access it is amazing.
Pretty awesome still waiting for *Mavic 3* tho. This is cool shots and all but a lot of the times my main cam footage is the main portion of the video, that might need a supplement of aerials. If its sport/commercial related content, this is simply killer for them adrenaline vids.
I bought. Should arrive this week. My first drone. Can't wait.
Getting ready to pick up my new Mini 2 today, brand new to Drones not sure if I should be watching this. Whoa!!!
Such an exciting piece of art! Wonderful review, thanks for making this kind of content for us!
Don't buy this drone without watching Joshua Bardwell's review, it's very fragile and wi not survive even a minor mishap
Yup. Its a mavic 2 which you can fly via goggles more than anything fpv. If you want an fpv drone you still have to build one.
And if they wanted to target videographers who signed off on having props in view?

thanks for being my thumbnail
This drone is great for long range, mountain surfing, etc. Never fly it in 4K. FPV is too fast for 4K. 1080P 60 looks great, and the best thing about this quad is that you can't lose it because it hovers when the signal gets weak. This means you never reach the point of a lost signal. As an experienced pilot, I love my builds so much better. This quad just sits on the shelf at my place.

Because the video is sponsored by DJI.
It sounds really amazing and I'm inspired by everything except the price)
But let's make some aspects more clear.
Fpv world has most of these features, but needs much more of your attention (btw it takes time, but helps you to develop your brain)
So, dji made a really good set with a competitive capabilities and great smart options, but it's not the best in everything at once. Maybe this kit will be my next flying avatar ))

Dji is the future of drone community 🔥
Drone community, maybe. But fpv is a whole other area. That toy is just too fragile and underpowered and should not ever be compared to fpv quadcopters.
Me watching this knowing that I would never be able to afford it lol
Why would you buy this if you could buy a prebuilt FPV drone + Remote + 4 batteries + goggle + etc. for 800.-

@@SPASIVAFF fun fact, for fpv you dont need a license :D
"Taking over fpv" in whose mind? I guess in the mind of people that have only experience in mavic drones or other dji products.
