    Nice upgrade! Then again I'm in Arizona. I have used my Windshield Washer once maybe twice in 7 years!

    Interesting mod. Did not know there was such an item, to adjust the flow/intensity.

      @runbuh Před 4 měsíci

      The adjustment is for the angle, relative to the windshield.

      @@runbuh So adjustment in terms of degrees, not intensity. Gotcha.. Although, at least from my perspective, it looked like the intensity of the flow rate was different. But again, it could very well be due to the degree of flow.

      @@Kiss__Kiss And I could be just plain wrong, too, but that's my understanding of how the adjustment works. I'll know soon. :)

      @@runbuh Fair enough. Would love to know as well. 👍 Because curious minds want to know lol

      It is angle, not intensity.

      The OEM ones are adjustable. Introduce a needle into the hole and adjust. You can use the needle to gauge the alignment of the stream.

      Here’s a question:
      Apart from the vertical adjustment (via torx bit) of the replacement (Audi?) washer jets, are the 4 individual jets themselves adjustable laterally, using the traditional “needle” method, or are they in a fixed position within the housing?
      The new ones appear to emit with less pressure with more of a spray effect, rather than a stream.

      @@aoxomoxoa186 no horizontal adjustment possible, from what I have seen. Only vertical possible with torx set screw.
      The pressure is enough to distribute the 4 streams on the windshield, especially when driving and you have the force of air on the streams. Water volume seems to be the same, but better distributed.

    looks to me like the oem is better??? 🤠

      To me, this nozzle I just installed is eons better than the original nozzle. It covers much more and is easier to adjust. It would be good to understand and explore long term reliability. For example, if it plugs, would I be able to unclog it as easy? With the others, I just introduced a needle to unclog, but more times than none I ended up moving the nozzle… and those are a pain to adjust.

      @@porscheDIY i guess the video just does not show the new extended spray pattern as you are seeing it? a lot of fine tuning on the new, keep us posted Master Tech!! 🤠
