I am 60 years old. I have cherished and loved Rafi Sahab's songs. There is no doubt Saurav Kishan sings exactly like Rafi Sahab. Oh God I feel that Rafi Sahab is reborn. How amazing it is that his words perfectly match the timings, expressions etc. God Bless the boy. And let him keep singing.

I used to listen Sauravs stage programe since his child hood in Calicut.(Kozhikode). As I am. Big fan of Rafi sab, I never used to miss his programe . In Calicut, Rafi sab has got wonderful fans. Each year they conduct Rafi night twice, on his birth day & on the death anniversary. The old generation of Calicut love Rafi sab so much. Twice Rafi sab staged his program in Calicut. The host is throwing all sorts of songs at him with such a wide range without any consideration that the guy is Malyali, doesn’t know Hindi/Urdu but this Superman is still proving himself every time and doing absolute justice to each and every song. Ms.Prema is right. “ you are making even people in their 40s , 50s and 60 s fall in love all over again !” She is all excited like a teenager.
So many seriously gifted singers have been heard here on Y/T and various talent shows and I remember getting enthralled by them, but this young man takes my breath away. I am trying to analyze the exact reason why so much of Rafi sa'ab reflects in his voice. Other than his ability to nearly duplicate the great singer's style, Saurav's voice has that unique and subtle 'resonance' like Rafi sa'ab.

MrSaurav kishan, I really enjoyed your songs a couple of days ago. I came to know about you very recently. It was a thrilling moment as if my music God Rafi saab appeared before me. As for as I'm concerned my first preference is Rafi saab and then our own Dasettan and Jayettan. You know our Jayettan got a title long back i.e he was known as south Indian Rafi. Likewise SPB was known as south Indian kishore kumar. You know one thing, Rafi saab's maximum songs were used for the superstar Jumping Jack Jeetendra only. As if Jeetendra himself singing, such a perfection. Bollywood' s real pair. If you choose all Jeethuji's song from 1965 like Farz, himmat, humjoli, jigiridost, caravan, maa aur mamta, the burning train, aatish, aakhri dao, bhanphool, jeeneki raah, waris, apnapan, aasha, merehuzoor, roop thera masthana, jaani dushman, etc etc OMG there is no end. Even his songs were maximum used for Shammiji, Ferozkhan, Dharmendra, Sashikapoor, Sanjaykhan, Biswajit, Joymukherjee, Rajendrakumar, Raajkumar etc. But it's Jeethuji grabbed the maximum numbers.
