Hi friends happy Monday!
Hope you guys are staying safe out there!! Today I wanted to lightly talk about Ted Bundy and his whole mess. This video could easily be two hours long with all the information that is out there, but I just wanted to keep it pretty straight forward and not get lost in all the extra stuff.
Thank you guys for all the love you send my way, it means more than you know and I cant say thank you enough. I hit 800k which is absolutely insane to me and if I think about it too much, it freaks me out because that’s a lot of eyeballs. ahaha. Anyway, thank you, it really means a lot and I cant say thank you enough.
Let me know your thoughts in the comment section and who I should talk about next week! Have a wonderful rest of your day and please please please be safe out there. Stay inside PLEASE

It’s lowkey disgusting that people romanticize this horrific individual
True.

Zac Efron playing Ted Bundy in the movie just made it so much worse too.
There actually is a survivor who said Ted took her in his car and told her he was kidnapping her when he saw she cut her hair the day prior, when they had first met. He yelled at her and asked her why she cut her hair then yelled at her and told her to get out of the car. She says her cutting her hair saved her life.
I heard this too
He had been watching her and she actually cut her hair a week prior. Only thing that saved her life because his target was long dark hair
@@rebeccamccoy4209 yes indeed
I heard about that too on a CZcams video its sad that the survivor today still kept her hair short knowing she was really traumatized

*”he graduated with a degree in PSYCHOLOGY”* how ironic
* xxelysian•kai * i think the prerequisites for law school is pretty much a psychology degree so that’s why he majored in that
Czena Kramer Youd think that would make sense, but nope, I had a double major, 1 was in psych. when I was in university (which admittedly has been a minute), they really prefer you major in english & philisophy or something like that. It really makes no sense to me.
Cary Ulmer that’s interesting. Thanks! My friends mom’s a lawyer and she majored in psychology
Czena Kramer I mean you really can major in anything to get to law school a lot of people major in English as it makes the job easier :)
Actually it’s pretty smart of him being a psychopath and everything as it would help him see how other people are supposed to behave and would make him blend in

I saw his car last year in the Alcatraz East Crime museum and it didnt feel real at first but then I started thinking about how many lives were taken in that car and got the coldest chills looking at it.
Oh really? Is his car kept? This is very, very terrifying
Wow, I actually went to the museum pictures on Google and saw the real car is scary
He said he used that car model because he could remove the passenger seat really easily, making it easy to knock out his victim and dump her into the car.
Have I already heard Ted Bundy’s story a thousand times? Yes.
Will I still watch Bailey’s interpretation? Heck yes.

My dad always says that if a man asks for a help, you need to run because men don’t ask for help. Especially not from a young girl.
Very true and wise words
i mean men do need therapy lol
Most of the time he would have a sling or cast and be on campus with a stack of books and someone would approach him before he asked for help. When you do that it feels like her idea. Most women are somewhat maternal by nature and just want to help someone who looks like they need it.
men do need help there people to so don't even....but I feel like no one would ask a young girl for help cause they can't do much about it
That's true. Unless they're still a child or really old most guys are going to wait until another man passes by to ask for help

I agree , And is it awkward that I feel like he looks really similar like not being ted Bundy but I feel like I know a lot of people who look like him 🤔
Yeah, it's pretty weird but it's also weird that in a lot of horror movies they make the antagonist really hot, like in scream, and any AHS season, and people acting as killers, ya know?

I was a little kid in Florida when he was executed, and I remember my mom turning off the lights to "save power for him".
Dude...your mom is dope.
My family did this too. It was a big deal in my neighborhood and I remember my mom being on the phone and telling the neighbors to shut their lights off in remembrance for the victims.
This may sound weird but I almost felt like he used his real name because he deeply wanted to be liked for who he was. I think it was some weird sense of validation
As a Sagittarius, born on the same day as Ted i agree with you. We want to be liked for who we are, some just choose a wrong path in life.

100%!!!!!
there’s a lady on my street who was a victim of Ted’s. she has taken her experience as an opportunity to teach girls self defense & the warning signs. she is now married, has four kids, leading to fifteen grandchildren. she is such a sweet woman & it breaks my heart when she is pacing in her house at 1am, as she still has nightmares.
While I'm happy she survived, I'm so sorry to hear that your neighbor went through that, and still struggles with the trauma of what happened to her. I hope she finds peace.

*Crazy story:* My grandma was almost a victim of Ted Bundy. I don't know the whole story, but basically she was staying at a hotel alone (Either in Cali or Utah). She saw a guy outside from her window and didn't think much of it. A little later she gets a knock on her door claiming to be room service. She never ordered room service, so she called down to the front desk to ask if they had sent anyone, and they claimed they did not. Years later she sees that Ted Bundy is arrested, and recognized his face as the man who was outside the hotel.
My grandma was a smart cookie, and I'm so thankful she didn't open that hotel door.
Grandma said "naw baby I don't trust that!"
Your grandma is a hero .✨❤️
that was tense!!!
woah it was close!!!
She is a super smart hero!❤✨
Sooo scary
The fact that these stories don't scare me anymore makes me fear myself 😅
People lining the streets to cheer the passing of a murderer's dead body is the most Florida thing.
Cell mates: we can hear Ted crawling above our cells
Prison guards: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I also feel bad for Ted's stepfather. I mean, his last name--his family name, will forever be associated with Ted Bundy's crimes.
Underrated comment. Seriously this is so true
I tend to ignore that part of the name history and instead remember Al Bundy and how amazing and hilarious he was.

Yeah,, I feel like back then he reached the standards but now.. it’s more complex to what we find attractive
Agreed! I think his charisma made him appear attractive.
Yeah I don't see him as that attractive.
Ann Rule is the lady who wrote the book “The Stranger Beside Me” who worked with him, they never dated and the lady Carol Ann Boone is the one he married in jail and had a child with. They are 2 different people.
I came to say this. I don't think they're the same person. Anne was just a close friend I thought
Yeah, Ann Rule never married Ted Bundy.
The Carol woman needed therapy
Yes, this is the information I was aware of. I thought I was missing something. Maybe Carol Ann was using a pseudonym? But I couldn't find anything that backed up that idea.
That kid is not his
My English teacher in high school was almost one of his victims. She was leaving the grocery store and he asked her to help him take his groceries to his car and she said she told him "I have to be home to help make dinner and I am already late with my groceries, sorry" because she felt an eerie feeling.
His daughter hasn't spoken out and in fact, uses another name. She has mercifully been left alone.

I agree... Never really got the whole 'handsome' thing with Bundy 🙈
Came to say the same
he has a darting, ratlike look to his eyes.
He looks creepy and sly to me, like he's getting away with something.
she was saying what a lot of other people were saying, not her personally.
Before Ted Bundy abducted and killed poor Kimberly Leach, Ted attempted to abduct a 14 year old, he pulled up to her and started talking to her, but before he could do anything else her brother pulled up and scared Ted away, glad she survived atleast. That was a few days before Kimberly's abduction. :(
“it’s scary cause he’s so handsome and charming” are we looking at the same guy?- he’s just 🤢
Like what other people in the comments are commenting, the standards in the 70s were different.
Eh, some people are fooled more easily, more gullible, etc. Not to mention, yeah, as said before that he was considered rather attractive, charming, and charismatic. He was well educated, well spoken, confident....

Interesting Fact: Jack Nicholson grew up a part of his life believing his mom was his sister, since she was 17 when he was born. He didn't find out the truth until after his mom and his grandparents died.

I was watching Caitlin Dohety's "Ask a Moritician" channel on You Tube and she had a video about the remains of Charles Manson. There were pictures of some of Manson's male relatives who had beards and wore their hair like his, clearly trying to look their notorious relative. If I was related to Manson or someone like him there is no way I would try to resemble that person.
disGUTING
Totally agree. The amount of people in true crime groups I’ve been in with Ted Bundy bite tattoos and art idolizing him is gross. It really grosses me out that women especially idolize him given the graphic nature of his crimes against women.
fancifulimpression wait... WHAT?
I do know that he had fan girls that would show up at the Dade County courthouse. He was charming, charismatic, and a complete PSYCHOPATH. I didn’t think it was still a thing after we all knew the monster he really was. Funny... you don’t see the same type of fans for Jeffrey Dahmer; even though Bundy was way worse than Dahmer could ever dream of being.
So, fun fact: My Mom was an officer in Tallahassee Florida when Ted Bundy was playing silly buggers in 1978. She was actually in the office when he was captured and brought into the station. She actually locked eyes with him and he smiled at her. She said that even after over 30 years on the force, coming into contact with really awful people who had done really awful things, nobody ever creeped her out the way he did. "There was just nothing there behind his eyes. Totally cold. Even with dozens of guns around and a plate-glass window between us, I didn't feel safe when he looked at me." Super creepy stuff!
He has always been one of my favourites, he always had that eery thing about him.
He smiled and flirted a lot, came off very charming but at the same time you could tell he didn't care for what he had done.
It was like there was nothing there, like he felt nothing, like life was a game to him.

Please tell me what thou think about my recent video ☺💗
I’m addicted to these videos. Your talents asf Bailey
I love your channel, Bailey! I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for what you do!
Ladies, lets be real here: most of us wouldnt even look twice at him! Zack Efron, YES. The real Ted, NO!
Gabriela F. No, not with a complete master manipulator. He will know what to do or say or what you like... they’ll read it from you. Don’t act like you’re better than the victims.
Teresa Fontaine stop projecting geez !
Teresa Fontaine there was no need to get so pressed about it she’s just saying that he isn’t as attractive as people make him out to be smh🤦🏾♀️
This was a very different time in history. He was, indeed, considered to be a very handsome guy; very stylish and charming in that time period. Nowadays, yeah, he looks gross...but ask your older family members what they remember of his looks. I'll bet you'll hear the women say he was attractive. Disgusting, but attractive.
Gabriela F. Speak for yourself on that one
dude had a meat cleaver inside his drawer and reassured his partner that “everything is fine”, I’d be out of the house so quickly there’d be a dust trail
I'm not saying I totally disagree with you buuut hindsight is 20/20 and it's easy for us to say that, that's definitely what we would've done now. But as someone who has been in physically and mentally abusive relationships with people who had blatant warning signs, I know firsthand how when you love someone and truly think you know said person, the line of what is and isn't acceptable and normal becomes murky at best. I mean, I certainly hope and honestly think I would've left him on the spot after making such a discovery but it's dangerously easy for the mind to rationalize the irrational when it's seeing a person/situation through rose tinted glasses.
😆😆😆 For real! There'd be a shape of my silhouette busted through the front door like in loony toon cartoons!
Isabella Camoçato girl same
we have a meat cleaver in our house lol and we use it to cut meat sometimes so I don't think that's so weird and to be worried about
눈이 Yeah, but he had it in his desk drawer
The way Bailey talks about everything surrounding death and her attitude towards these sensitive topics has completely helped my existential anxiety so much- 10/10 feels like a facetime conversation more than a video which I live so personal and intimate feeling 👀💞
I just gotta say, I've been a follower and fan for a couple years now. I live the way you tell these stories, the way that your positive attitude and light personality makes that easier to swallow. I mean, these are REAL EVENTS that have taken place but you make them seem not so dark and drastic.
The fact that one of his victims was 12 will forever make me cry the hardest 😢
Yes her story is SO sad😢
Considering there are many deaths he admitted to, but refused to give details for based on the fact that he said they were "too close to home", it sounds like he may have done even worse.
Jesus that's disgusting.
@@ccrbonline1752 That’s scary 😭
He said he had victims that were really young that he would never talk about, could be even younger than 12 that’s just scary.
Ted Bundy actually babysat my dad and his brothers back in the 70's for extra cash here and there in Utah. My dad remembered him as being a really nice guy, but he was well known for being really charismatic.
Whoa. 😳
👁👄👁
😬😬
😯😲😱
😳
You can always add a touch of Bailey 💕 it’s not always the stories you tell for me but how you tell them 💖
Bundy's confessions amounted to over 150 hours. I doubt that he ever would have given additional information about locating more victims' remains; I am convinced that he said all that he intended to say. After that, we can just believe the DNA and consider his death to be no loss.
When she said “he’s a Sagittarius” I was like...I’m a Sagittarius...oml
•Slxuwumemes• our birthdays are 2 days apart 😬 his is 11/24 mine is 11/22
I’m the 11th, my granddaughter is 18th and my stepson is 22nd 👋
•Slxuwumemes• me and ted have the same birthday 😬
Sagittarius here 🙇🏻♀️💕 ♐️
@@tammyyoungmua we're one day apart! im the 10th
This always makes me think of a quote I read somewhere that said “men never ask for help. If a man is asking you for help you need to run” 😭💀
They ask for help from other men
Honestly that’s my mentality too... if it’s someone I know, then sure. But as a woman alone in public, if a man came up to me asking to go someone with him to help him, I’m out of there ASAP. I don’t care if he ends up genuinely needing help, I’m not putting my safety at risk with a potential predator. He can find help from someone else. 😭 The world is scary...
It makes me sad that we use a tiny tiny minority of the population as a justification to not help anyone around us. I see it when ppl talk abt trafficking too. Most ppl aren't out to get u, obviously be careful and keep yourself safe but if someone genuinely needs help odds are he's not like ted bundy
@@NoCommonSense9 exaclty and men do ask for help like bruh
@@NoCommonSense9 That is true and it is sad that that happens. But it is still a thing a lot of women are worried about if a stranger came up to you and asked you to go with him to a different location to help them with something. Even if it is a minority, those men still exist and who knows when that instance can happen. I would help someone if they needed a phone call or somewhere in public at that space but I would never go somewhere alone with a stranger, since I have had an experience before. Call it paranoid, but I don't want to take any chances with my safety.
Bailey Sarian is my new favourite CZcamsr. Been binge watching lately!!😄😘
I just want to say that I truly do appreciate you still doing these famous cases. Regardless of the majority of people knowing it, there are still people (like me, I just know some names but not the backstory until I found your channel) that don't know it. And also, it's so nice to get your side of things and get to see how you explain the story and to see your reactions/expressions and explanations. Keep doing you girl, you're amazing!

I’m a new subscriber and too glad to discover this channel ♥️♥️♥️and a little disappointed at the same time to discover it a too bit late. It feels like a friend telling some interesting gossips.
He almost got my mom. She had no idea that this guy was Ted Bundy until the movie came out a few years ago and it showed pictures of him and his car. He pulled up beside her as she was walking home. He asked her if she could show him where some street was but she didnt know the street. Then he started talking quietly and when she moved closer to hear him he smiled at her. She said that it was the creepiest look she had ever seen and she backed away. He started to get out of the car and a police cruiser turned down the street and he jumped back in and took off. She did say that if he would have said a street name that she recognized she probably would have gotten in. She used to tell us about this situation when we were young girls as a warning because she always thought if he hadn't been up to something shady then he wouldn't have drove away when he saw the police. When she realized it was Ted Bundy years and years later she flipped. Oh and she never paid attention to anything about the case before the movie because stuff like that always scared her so bad.
Oh that’s so scary. I’m happy your mom is okay. That police car turning down the road was pure divine intervention.
Ugh same! But shes an adopted mom. Her car broke down, she was walking to a gas station. He pulled up and offered her a ride. Told her he was an off duty cop and she didnt have to worry-flashed that same chill your blood smile you were talking about. She said he put his hand ok n the door like he was gonna get out, and she put her hand in her purse. Said, I SAID NO THANK YOU.
Luckily- he put his car in drive and sped off as another car started coming up the road and pulled off with 2 women and a man in the car. She had just found out she was pregnant with her 1st baby so that mom instinct we get probably kicked in.
Oh, my freaking gosh!!!
Lucky her that she got away.. just saying.. I was kidnapped and managed to get away.. I begged the person to take me home.. some how eventually they did..I'll never know why .. reported it. And the police were useless. Its no joke. Shes lucky she didn't get in.
Oh my goodness 😳. I’m so happy your mom is okay!!
I live down the street from Ted Bundy’s childhood home, AND my neighbor is best friends with Ted’s brother. I met him and he’s actually super sweet, literally the opposite of his brother.
edit: I just remembered that literally everyone in Tacoma has/had some sort of experience with Ted. For example, my great uncle went to High School and College with him. (if you’re wondering, Wilson High School and the University of Washington) and he actually tried to be friends with him multiple times, but he didn’t like friends.
edit 2: you actually said Issaquah and Samamish right : )
Payton Day ayoooo fellow Washingtonian here!!!
Payton Day do you ever get extra creeped out thinking about this case since
Ha ha I love how she said Sammamish the first time 🤣 hi from WA! 🌲
His brother was in the docu about him on amazon prime.
Hello from Snohomish, Washington!
12:50 this is why I love you Bailey 😂💕 that immediately put a smile on my face during some hard times
