i always think it’s so funny that bailey talks about how she doesn’t understand why we want her to talk about popular cases cause there’s nothing she can add. but bailey is the BEST storyteller ever!! the way she tells a story we’ve heard a million times, makes it feel like we’ve never heard it. does that make sense?

I've heard these cases many times over many years (since being obsessed with true crime since a child, forever ago, and having worked in criminal law), but Bailey re-telling makes each seem as a fresh blossomed daisy and it's the first time! 🌻 I am very envious of her story telling skills, I just get nervous, stammer and miss words!

John used to do a lot of events at my grandpas car dealership and became close to my dads family. He asked to take my dad fishing when my dad was a young kid and my dad wanted to go really badly but my grandpa wouldn’t let him because my grandpa needed his help that weekend. He was almost a victim 🥴

I honestly have hated clowns and/or masks ever since I was a kid. I didn’t know about Gacy bc I was too young (thank goodness) but the thought of any type of mask almost made me cry.
It’s way more psychological than that

My fear of clowns precedes any knowledge I had of this case. I was around 9 yrs. old at carnival at a lodge that my dad was an accountant for. Saw a clown in the large crowded room and turned on a dime and walked briskly in the opposite direction. Remember my crib I had to age 3 had a cloth clown doll hanging in it and I was creeped out even then. I was also terrified of dolls so my mom gave them to my cousins. I played with stuffed animals.
It’s so sad that the first police officer to actually get involved did it because he had a son of his own he was worried for and not because someone else’s child was missing. Most people don’t get involved unless it could impact their lives ☹️

John had a policebadge och there was no reports of any major surch done on 30+ missing people, made me think a police officer was also in deep on what was going on and clearing all raised awareness or leeds it should have had around all these missing people.
Believe it or not that gives a lot of people the most motivation to find the culprit. Yeah you may see it as a selfish motivation but considering that his son has friends you also have to think that he's worrying about his son's friends too. That's how I would be if it involved girls considering I have daughters myself. Children are the biggest motivators for people wanting to solve crimes. But that's just my opinion

Although I’m not a deaf viewer, I do have ADHD (not comparing the 2, as of course they are completely different). So when I realized the CC was actually accurate and not just some random words (that seems to happen A LOT on YT videos CC) I was absolutely stoked, not just for me, but for anyone who struggles or isn’t able to enjoy social media to its fullest.

He was into politics and considered a major assets to the Democratic candidates in the state elections! I honestly feel like that is one reason he got so many chances and why they didn’t look harder into his background!! The guys was a smooth operator and it made his case all the more disturbing because no one saw how disturbed he really was. I live in IL and was 16 when he was finally arrested. There was a lot of egg on the State’s Attorney’s face for sure!

yeah- homophobia (police and his dad) has killed/harmed so many. There are men who tortured and killed other men, and police brushed off men who'd escaped as "just perverts", or what not (Dahmer included). It's REALLY hard for men, especially young men, to come forward. :(

I love you Bailey, but I dropped out my senior year because my mom was receiving daily radiation and monthly chemo treatments. Shortly after she was put on hospice and I wanted to spend absolutely every minute I could with her. Wether it jeopardized my education or not. I’m now 22 years old and VERY happy I made the decision I did. My mom passed 10 days after I turned 18, and if I had spent that time at school, I would have missed all those moments where she needed me the most.

I just wanna pitch in to tell you about the dogs because we train them. The dogs are called HRD (human remains detection) K9s and they’re trained by using the smell of old placenta. They never lie, they can smell through anything, including water. Many of our finds were in lakes and other bodies of water. They’re great resources to the community and we’re thankful for them. Love your vids, Bailey!
That’s the interesting about the Brian Laundries remains. I read the police already had searched the area with dogs that they eventually found him, but it had been under water, and that’s why they didn’t find him. But if the dogs can smell death even under water it makes you wonder!
That's so awesome. Being attacked as a small child and still loving dogs, it makes my heart so happy to see canines being able to do so much! I love having my fur babies at home but glad seeing professional doggos ❤

My grandmother has drawings from Gacy that he specifically drew for her when she work in law enforcement for a very short minute. She recently passed away and we didn’t find out about the drawing until during the funeral, not even my dad knew and he is her oldest! Everyone was shook when we found out!!!

(Not so) fun facts: Gacy was held and executed at a prison less than 5 minutes down the road from my university. Also, my family is from around where he lived and my uncle and several family friends were at parties he clowned at. I’m a psych major/criminology minor but this is one case no one talks about because it hits (literally) too close to home.

@@aryanalewis4558 Stateville prison moved to the location less than 10 years before my university was created. It was a small mens’ catholic school before WW2 when it switched to just focusing on aviation training for the military. I don’t think either the prison or the school were expecting to get as big as they did 😂

I believe that even though they didn’t switch shifts , maybe the teacher’s brother won’t be interested in the job offer and just leave him alone and it’s destined for Robert to meet up with the M@&)$ F@&&

Side note for 10:20.. Its because for some of us, the school we are going to (with no access to other schools) don't help. The teachers don't care (beside a select few), the administrators don't care, and we just get no help. Sometimes it is just easier to leave school and go to work and later go back or get your GED. And this is why we need better teachers, because no child deserves to feel helpless and hopeless.

I didn't drop out senior year but I did drop out Freshman year and it was because I was terrified of going to school. I spent a week in the psych hospital and my boyfriend at the time got super jealous when I couldn't have him visit, he thought I barred him from visiting because I must have been cheating on him with a doctor or another patient but in reality I just wasn't allowed to have friends visit, family only. He spread a rumor around the school that I was pregnant and was in the hospital for the week to terminate and because they were all high-school kids a lot of them didn't realize that termination doesn't require a week long hospital stay. I wasnt pregnant, I had never actually "done the deed". My first day back, well I wasn't even fully back I was just grabbing my homework that I missed while I was adjusting to my meds, a bunch of kids jumped me which left me with a punctured lung from one of the 3 broken ribs, a broken nose, and a fractured cheek bone. The school said they took care of the kids who did it but that just meant they gave them in school suspension for a week and told their parents. It was a rough neighborhood so it only made things worse and when I was able to go back the next attack was worse so I never went back. The school said they'd send books for home schooling but they never did and I honestly didn't care.
The police failed the victims. So sad 6 still are unidentified. - on another note, this makeup look is just absolutely stunning!
