I still to this day want a F80 M3 or a F82 M4 it’s will always be my dream/ goal to get this car the sound it makes to me, me personally I love it especially growing up in a city we’re theres always a supercar zooming down the street. Everyday I come home I hear it since a few of my neighbors/ residents live in my area wit E46, E9X & F80, also I’m starting to see a lot more G80 here

Is there a difference between a F82 m4 and just a regular m4 or is every m4 and f82
@@CruuushaL yes all M4 are F82/F83 except for the new G82 M4. An the difference in the base model compare to the competition package is the Hp and a lil more of the bells and whistles

I was 16 when this car came out and I have been obsessed with it ever since that. By the time you’re my age this car will be way cheaper to buy, so I have no doubt you’ll be able to get one in the near future!

I'm in the market for a marina blue m4. Looks like the auto market has peaked so hopefully it'll bounce back within the next couple months.
Nice they are great cars. Especially in YMB. I bought mine during Covid so prices were super low and dealerships were struggling to sell so I got it for a good deal. Market should be back to normal soon. Make sure you subscribe so you can check out all the videos I make on M4’s!

@@antoniobarriga9290 hey, I was about to do say yes this morning to the finance but I declined in the end. it is an expensive car and I don't know about any surprises around the corner that would prevent me from being able to pay for the car, like it getting involved in an accident or me losing my income. So I decided to just wait until I finish university and buy the car with the money I save up in the next 2 years. With my current plan I should be able to save up the whole amount given that I don't run into financial issues or get kicked out of my dad's house 😂😂😂 But yeah man I was so close to getting it, but patience will be worth it.
I advise you move out and get your own place ASAP. You won't regret it. Cars don't define you.
@@LemonySnicket-EUC It would be very expensive to move out at the moment since I'm in full time education 😂 Plus I want to take care of my father rather than leave him alone so I don't see myself leaving him.

I'm thinking about getting a M3 or M4 2021 or new 2022. I really like the way the grill looks. I just can't decide between the sedan vs coupe or the competition or base.
It’s always a tough decision! I recommend spending as much time as you can with all the different options with the cars, sit in them, drive them, really think about how you will feel owning each spec 👍
Hey man. Getting an m3/m4 will be the best decision of your life lol. But seriously when it comes down to it you can’t go wrong with either one. If you want manual, you will need base, but if you want automatic, definitely get the competition
love the m4 been thinking of getting one as a weekender. how the power is too much for the rear wheels scare me though

It’s a well rounded sports car. I’ve had mine as a daily driver for over a year now, I tuned it and drive the hell out of it and the car still feels and drives good. They are built like tanks
@@AutomotiveTherapy Yeah I may get one next spring or summer then. I will get a cx-5 for dallying and m4 for weekends and fun drives. Currently have a 2019 340 lease but it doesn't cut it for me. I want a lambo or rarri but for now i think a m4 weekender can do more then satisfy my needs in the interim
not sure if you still have the car but looking into buying one and can’t find one really for any less than 80-90k miles unless over $50k do you think a higher mileage one be worth it ?

I'm looking into buying an M4 (F82,F83) also and I live in Colorado as well. Do you think you will be able to drive almost all year long? I'm new to Colorado.
It depends on the weather! I'd imagine in Colarado it's fairly hot all year round so no issues as the handling is superb. In the wet it is a handful and demands respect. Need to be very sensible and thats hard as it's made to be driven hard. I have a m4 comp package, great during English summer-time, winter time I need to chill. Spins in 2nd and 3rd when the foot goes down. Top tip though, go for one with bmw icon led's, looks so much better than led's. I've got a 2019 black with red merino leather. Enjoy, you can't go wrong. ps. I traded my rs5 in for the m4cp, I miss the awesome quattro system but looks, practicality, and image is far superior
What tired would be best for the F80/82 for someone that lives in socal where it’s primarily sunny but rains occasionally
I would recommend the Pirelli P Zero Max Performance tires. Great dry and wet reaction. I’ve even tested them on snow here in Colorado!

Because you can be sure the previous owner drove it as a dragstrip car and not for what it was build and supposed to do ? The subframe won't give in anymore as we were used to with beamers for 30 years but still bad for your car

i personally think that the new M8 Competition is the best looking BMW in today’s market. It’s what the M4 should’ve been, except slightly smaller dimensions. The new rear end is is sick looking, but it still retains that classic kidney grill up front. By far the best looking M car being made right now and it’s not even close. I’m waiting for the market to cool down to seriously start looking into the F8X, i love both the M3-M4 equally.
That is very true. I recently saw an M8 comp on the highway a few days ago and I was blown away by the presence it had on the road. 100% they should have kept that design language for the G8X series. But after being around a good amount of modern M cars lately, I still fall back towards the F8X generation being the last best modern looking M series. I currently own a 2014 mustang gt but I want a bmw because man those cars look good but I heard a lot of things about them being unreliable and expensive maintenance so I might just get a newer 5.0
The M4 is actually extremely reliable compared to the older bmws which are known to be unreliable. People have ran 700hp for 100k miles on these cars with no major issues. These cars are all about basic maintenance and they’ll last forever. I would highly recommend looking into one, literally the best car I’ve owned. Thanks for watching!! Either way both are fun cars👍

I don’t think the crankhub should stop people from buying this car. It’s a rare thing to happen first of all, second of all there are two ways to prevent and strengthen the crankhub from failure. I personally upgraded my crankhub since I know I’m going to make big power. But look at it like this: older bmws have TONS of different problems that will cost you a lot of money over time, the M4 has one major issue, but it can be easily fixed and it has a rare chance of failing, it will also cost you money one time only and after that you never have to worry about it or put anymore money towards it.
@@AutomotiveTherapy Not stop them, but consider options. Like you, most that purchase this car are going to tune it, and to shell out 4-5k (east coast) for the fix seems a little daunting. To each their own though 🤷🏽♂️ but I agree the newer gen BMWs are far more reliable. Stage 2+ 340i here that’s been solid
@@ThatguyWitjokes not to hurt your feelings, no matter how much you mod that 340 it will never be an M. It has a bunch of cheap plastics & is no where near as well built or has the same presence as a M car. Your 340 may be “quick” but it’ll always look like regular a regular sedan 😔

What’s a good price for a 2015 base m4?
Depends on mileage and options like carbon roof or not. But I’d say anything 40k and under is a score for a base ‘15

And light weight, I don’t know other than just high tech, the G gen M car seems lost it soul! (Much heavier, much complicated, just tech n power, does this formula sounds like GT-R to you?)
Completely agree! The F series became even more special since it’s the last classic bmw design. I’ve been in the G8X M cars and they do feel like they lost their soul! So numb and quiet, the F82 m4 is so raw and loud and aggressive, while being classy at the same time. It’s the best of both worlds.
