One thing about owning a car you love, is you will always look forward to drive it. I own a 2017 Maxima which is a car I always wanted and I never get tired of driving it

@@hellboy.z71 crankhub is the biggest "issue" that people address with the F8x chassis. They have the S55 motor and have a chance at spinning the crankhub which could take the entire motor out if you experience the worst case scenario. Luckily, it's not as bad an issue as people make it out to seem, with percentages of spun crankhubs are super super super low across every s55 motor thats been produced. People say its a myth, others say its a ticking time bomb and to get it done asap. Other than that, over time the plastic pieces on the motor will crack and can cause issues, like the top mount charge cooler, the j-pipe and the charge pipes are the most common that people upgrade to aftermarket ones. There have been many cases of these cars going past 150k+ miles without issue and theres even someone with an f80 m3 thats at 250K miles !! They make great power super easily but you'd have to stay on top of maintenance like oil changes, coolant flush, spark plugs, etc. One small thing people never address is that the front turbo tends to leak oil due to an old and brittle gasket that goes between the front of the turbo to the charge pipe. It's such a small issue thats why its never talked about. Its a $4 gasket and i've seen people do it themselves with general tools. For me, I'd do most maintenance myself to keep labor costs out of the picture and save money. As long as you're good to the car, the car will treat you with the same respect

Jeeez, I bought my F80 M3 2018 here in Sweden 2 months ago (cash), and the cheapest insurance-company I found wanted around $2800 a year for my car (I'm 28). Even though i've owned many cars, and got pretty much collision-free history. We've had a lot of problems with people stealing airbags from these cars in the bigger cities, which causes the insurance to go up unfortunately - Looking forward to bring it out this summer - Sweet car you got there for your age :)

My insurance is $250/mo, I had $5,000 down on a $45,000 m3 2 years ago granted so it was that expensive with less features sadly but got the red interior which I wanted, so I pay $762/mo and now 21 as well bro! Hope to be getting a gtr this summer. Supercar with awd for the snow at 21 is my goal now haha. Good shit. Keep it up G

Good price! My m340i was $750 a month and I got this when I was 20. Now I’m 23 and I’ve now gotten a 2019 m4 for 68k, 20k miles, full warranty coverage(dent, tire/brakes, maintenance) at a monthly rate of 1150. A little more then I wanted to spend as well since Ive recently bought house in Austin.

@@NealCaen ooooo sounds like a clean M4 bro! And thank you so much for staying with the channel🙏. Alright so what you should tell them is that you are looking at a few other m4’s just like that one and tell them that they are 5k cheaper and tell them that you will take the car if they can price match it. Also tell them your budget, they will always try and working with a budget. So tell them $50k. Biggest thing is to compare similar ones on the market and try to narrow it down to the best deal. Honestly you just have to scare them and make it seem like you won’t buy the car if you don’t work with them. And ask for sales managers 👌

congrats im 31, and i got a m4 gts aka. gran tourismo from europe i imported it, and i paid 201k + the importing fee which i forgot but it was hella expensive due to the fact i got it from the plane and then into an exotic truck, delievered to my house, but m4 gts is crazy just like any other supercar kinda.

I took a small loss here, but I'm chilling with my 2019 m5 competition in a custom midnight purple wrap, along with some tasty cf modifications such as oled racing steering wheel, downpipes, stage 2, and many more

Oh gotcha! And I love that golden color. Yes these cars are very raw and drivers focused. But nice! That Rs3’s are beasts when built. And haha same the previous owner of my M4 traded it in for a Porsche, that seems to be the popular upgrade after owning an M4

The market seems to be cooling off again, but I definitely bought in at a great price
Crank Hub is only an issue if it is highly modified. These companies that make the upgraded crank hub are making s55, n55 and similar engines worry for stock engines. I believe in 2016 it was changed by BMW.
The crankhub was never updated and fixed in the F8X generation. The new G8X cars with the S58 has the updated fix in their engines

Knowledge is power! Show them that your educated on these cars and their value, find some that are being sold for less and tell them you’ll buy a cheaper one if they can’t lower their price. Just make them know you’re ready to buy but only if they work with your budget

Is it possible to mod your M4 so that it has a touch screen sat nav? I really want an M4 but I really want a touch screen because that's what I have now and I'm so used to.
You’ll have to upgrade to one the aftermarket units. I know it can be a lot of work to do that
How much miles did it come with when you bought it im looking into buying one but I’m scared about purchasing a bad car and dealing with a ton of expensive repairs in the future.

I live in Colorado and flew out to a Porsche dealership in Ohio to buy it. My credit was around 680 when I applied. It’s definitely possible, just shop around rates and I recommend using credit unions
282 for a m4 at 20 years old is crazy, at 20 with a high 700 I was getting 300$ for a car from the early 2000's

Have you tried shopping around for different insurance? I got quotes from a lot of places and for a similar car at same age and I am only paying $130 a month.
I did shop around and that was the best rate I could find. I need to shop around again now that I’ve been paying for almost a year at this rate

Hey how were you able to find a high paying job at 20? also any estimate on your salary so i can get an idea of where I need to be? keep up the vids man!
Lots of research, Also I’m not going to college so it gives me all the time in the world to work as much as I can and research and find the best ways to make money. I spent long hours in retail, construction, and video making to save up for one, but it wasn’t enough. So I ended up getting a job in the mortgage consulting business which pays really well and I was able to finance an M4 with a good down payment and proof of income. I would say you should at least be in the 40k-50k a year mark. And I would also say you should have at least $1,000 left over after you pay for living expenses, bills, groceries, car payment, insurance all of that. It’s very manageable, you just need to research and make a plan!

I knew someone in the business and I had experience in working in sales and consulting so that helped. But honestly anyone can learn the basics and know how to explain any job with some online research and studying!
what size tires, and spacer setup?
In this video the current set up was REAR:275/35/19 w/ 15mm spacer
FRONT:255/35/19 w/ 20mm spacer
Currently I’m now running:
REAR: 285/40/19 with 15mm spacer
FRONT: 265/40/19 no spacer
What insurance do you use? I'm 19 and looking at getting a F83/2 but all my quotes come to 450 a month!

I was considering putting my name on the loan and putting the title in my moms name and me just pay her for the insurance monthly. Because $372 a month for insurance is honestly a little wild!!!!

Always find a way to add more income. You have to balance work life and school life to make it work. These cars are possible to earn for anybody. I recommend finding a quick and easy source of income that pays specifically for the M4. That’s what I did…

Don’t forget about fuel costs, you’re looking at least £200 per month, depending on your usage.
In the US it's way cheaper on fuel, I just bought an m4 comp in the UK which is getting silly expensive on fuel

If you can't put at least 50% down on a car, you can't afford to drive it. I haven't financed a car in 10 years because they are depreciating assets. This generation has no patience.

a bit curious but what do ya'll 19-21 yo dudes do for a living to afford this? read a guy lower down here as well saying hes "grinding to afford it at 18" while at 16 - and kinda wondering how on earth 16 yo kids are earning more than full time employees at retail while in school on top 🤔
like how are ya'll sitting on 20-30k+ able to be thrown away and still be able to handle 1k+ in car payments (excluding fuel AND maintenance) on top?
I started working in the mortgage industry at 19 years old. I’m now 24 and still growing my career. Lots of side hustles on the side too

aside from insurance jobs, here you pmuch need a bachelor in anything to be able to get into banker jobs

I have a 740 score with 2 credit bureaus I’m 18 and I have been building my credit since 2017 under my dads account. I’ve worked at the same job for 4years and bring in more than 27k a year. And the credit union I’ve been using for 3 years denied me for an auto loan and said I a co-singer 💀 I also have 13k saved but they don’t give a fuck
Tip, I'd buy a car under 15k and save yourself the headaches in the future with your situation. Buy your dream m4 when your alot older and making more money. Trust me, it's worth the wait and saves you on loads of stress. Dont drown yourself at 27k a year, it's not the best idea. to be getting a 40k-80k car.

@@AutomotiveTherapy I have a 2016 Audi S3 I would love to have an M2 or an M4 but I just feel like the payment would just upset me too much I pay about 525 a month for this car and I didn’t mind it after getting it because it was my first actually fancy cool quick and nice car but the novelty wears off but I guess that’s just me not being content because you always want bigger and better but it’ll cost you

@@AutomotiveTherapy yeah I know, I’m 23 and I’m actually a insurance agent. Actually purchasing a M4 this weekend! But with that being said don’t be afraid to shop around and find the best rate possible. Also if you can join your parents insurance policy that will help with the rate.

As far as insurance I feel like safeco and progressive have some of the best rates. I was just quoted $192 a month which isn’t bad!
