- In this video we will take a look at how to drive a 2016-2019 BMW M4 Competition with the dual clutch Transmission.
I'll go over some of the details, hints and tips for using the vehicle to include the gear shift system, drifting the car, steering, paddle shifting and more.
The vehicle being used is Hamza's previous BMW M4 in Yas Marina Blue paint.

What was the hub bore on the wheels? I’m assuming you got 73mm and needed a hub centric to fit 72.56? Or you got spacers to fit the bore? And with springs, was it with Sport lowering springs or Super Sport lowering springs? I was also wondering the exact wheel/tire setup you have. Appreciate it

Respectfully, this M4 is not one that is equipped with the Competition Package as the title states. Not that it matters, (I actually prefer it without.) my 2020 M4 has the carbon cloth interior just like this one! My 2018 had the Sakhir orange interior that wasn’t my cup of tea.

Hey there! Checking out an M4 sounds exciting. Just make sure to get all the details and maybe take it for a spin to see if it's the one for you.
Just also wanted to add for anyone that should you get an M4 and should you go Stage 1 or Stage 2 or above that you should change your Plugs and Coils at or between 30-40K miles. If you take it to the STEALership they will definitely try to rape you on the charges.
You can elect to do it yourself but please be advised that there are numerous parts to remove to get to certain things concerning the engine in order to do any type of maintenance.
Injectors are something that you would need to keep an eye on down the line (especially if you are Tuned) and you need to ensure that you have the actual/correct Injectors to match your car but overall dependability on the M4 is great.
The CRANKHUB……entirely TOO MUCH of a BIG deal is made up about this item and there isn’t like per the amount of let’s say out of 100 cars you’re probably going to only have 3 of them that may have an issue and usually it isn’t a total parasitic loss in that case.
But the Engine and Transmission plus the brakes remain strong in these cars, as long as you do your regular oil/fluid changes then this cars are hella reliable and a bunch of fun to drive and can be made really powerful especially with a Single Turbo Kit and decently powered with an aftermarket Turbo set up like Pure Turbos or KRATOS or other brands.

It’s not hard to afford a 2016 M4. You can find them for just around 40k with low miles. 2018-2020 will fetch you for 50k and onwards with decent miles due to being LCI.

Drifting has never made sense to me as it places unnecessary wear and stress on the car, not to mention considered reckless and dangerous driving and to do that with that version of the M4 which is not exactly reliable? Will is right to disapprove and you should listen

But it's fun. Also had my m4 for 40k miles with burnouts, launches, drifting , and plenty of spirited driving. No issues besides routine maintenance, tires, oil change , spark plugs. It's what they're made for. Paid 65k ima use the whole car g
