I love how Minato's face changes from his casual funny friendly face to full kill mode when he goes all in. He looks so friendly once and then he turns full assasin!
That's one of the things I like best about Minato: a man who is fundamentally kind but harbors a killer's strength deep down. Reminds me a bit of Kenshin Himura.
Then naruto does the same stare to kyuubi 😂
It's more badass than the characters who always look angry because when he goes serious mode, then you know it's really serious business this time. Like Luffy in One Piece.

Let's never forget, Hiruzen was fully aware of who Naruto was from birth and yet allowed the village to ostracize and antagonize him for 12 years with no repercussions or backlash. He's damn lucky Naruto didn't grow up hating the village like Gaara.
He should have been the one to sacrifice himself by using the reaper seal
If you think about it he did it to protect naruto if other nations would find out that naruto was fourth hokage son they would probably want to kidnapped him or even try fo kill him
@@erfanMASTER69 but minato would have been alive to take on whoever came and protect Naruto right....considering the age sarutobi was on decline and Minato was in his prime and would have made a better hokage and he would have been able to figure out obito was acting as fake madara considering that he was obito's sensei.
If it was a purely a decision for the village and Naruto sarutobi sacrificing himself would have been much better.

Minato’s chakra levels are insane. He had been using tons of chakra to keep kushina’s seal from breaking for who knows how long, has to use flying raijin twice to save Naruto, teleported twice to save kushina, teleports a giant tailed beast bomb with a high level flying raijin technique. Then he has to flying raijin twice and use a big ball rasengan while teleporting the second time. Then he had to flying raijin again and summon gamabunta to help teleport the entire kyubi to kushina and Naruto with the tailed beast bomb (I could have that last bit a little messed up in my head). Then he has enough to use reaper death seal to remove half of the kyubi’s chakra out (you could say kyubi was being held down by kushina’s chains but she was also low on chakra), then he had enough chakra to put a seal on Naruto but also to put some of kushina’s and his own chakra into it. Minato is hella goated. He wasn’t even a jinchuriki or an uzumaki or senju, he’s insane
He's not the biggest prodigy ever seen in this series (at least as far as we're aware of) for nothing

@@furiousdestroyah9999 oh ya no doubt, that was just one of the statements we’ve heard from actual characters but minato was definitely the rarest of rare. He had everything from good morals to good shinobi skills. He’s great at almost any jutsu, he picked up on uzumaki sealing jutsus as seen in the most recent one shot. Like it’s insane the power he had with a no name clan.

And to think, they just released a Minato-focused canon manga that shows he's EVEN more badass than we ever knew.

I’ve always liked how level headed and calculating Minato was. Despite the dangers he never lets it cloud his judgement and analysis. Truly worthy of being Hokage. I like to think Senjutsu played a part in him going the distance of his techniques during his last moments.
This has to be one of the most underrated moments in the series. Huge info drop going all the way back to the origin of the story; turns out it was Tobi right from the start who summoned the Kyuubi on that fateful day, we get a true display of why Minato was so revered to become the 4th Hokage, everything with Kushina, the brief but ridiculously badass fight between Tobi and Minato, TOBI WITH CHAINS, FLYING RAIJIN LVL 2, learning the 3rd Hokage himself was a witness to the sealing of the Kyuubi in Naruto/4th's death. This is also so much closure and character development for Naruto, he learned all the circumstances that led to him being a Jinchuuriki and the death of his parents, but most importantly that his parents were absolute beasts who loved their child and believed in him.
I'm glad you got exactly how badass and powerful Minato was right away. Some people don't get it. Also, Kushina had just given birth, had the Kyuubi ripped from her (something that would kill most people), and STILL had the power to restrain the Kyuubi for a while. Like... wow, she was really powerful.
Minato is the fastest Shinobi ever. That he died so fast as Hokage.

Bro was ballsy AF attacking with Minato and Hiruzen both in the village. It's sad Naruto will never learn the Uzumaki Clan's jutsu. Kushina presumably was the last formally trained member of the clan.

The attack was crazier in the manga.
Here it seems like he had ample time to still phase through, in the manga it was an instant teleport, right in his back, Madara didn't even know what hit him, they tried to make it seem slower for us to realize whats going on + his "That was level 2!" remark to showcase the speed difference, but he instantly yeeted that Rasengan in his back.
Obito be like:
"And THATS what our enemies had to fight in the 3rd war?! Oh fuck no"

I am seeing a lot of people here giving The third shit, just FYI Naruto having the Nine tails inside him was actually unknown for three years because of Hiruzen 's efforts it was Danzo's Root that spread that information out to the public in order to give the village a focused target for their grief.

That made me think about the fact everyone always says the population of the Leaf village is stupid for hating Naruto because he's not the Nine Tails. But it's also true that Naruto's birth is the exact reason why Madara was capable of extracting the Nine Tails in the first place. So Naruto is pretty much the origin of the reason why so many people died during this night. Then the anger of the population makes way more sense when you think about it.
That is why Minato is my number one character in Naruto saga. He should get a spinoff.

It needs to be stated by how insane the uzimaki are, I mean kushina after just giving birth, and having the 9 tails taken out from her, was still able to create multiple seals of insane levels, nagato who like kakashi had to give out even more chakra due to the Rinnegan not manifesting in him naturally and everything he did, not to mention hashirama himself coming to a uzimaki elder to seal a beast away that he couldn't where hashirama sealed every tailed beast by himself just for fun, and lastly, that it took every nation to take down the uzimaki clan. NO, naruto has 50% of the potenitial of Kyuubi. The reason was explained earlier, Naruto is just a child, sealing 100% of the chakra would've just killed him.

@@panjipewe no what I'm saying is naruto took all of the chakra that the nine tails had at the time, he kept saying he only took a quarter of the power which isn't correct. Nine tails has half of his original power and naruto took all of that half. That's why I said at the end that in total naruto took half of the total power.

I recommend watching the Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 version of this event. They went hard on the art and animation in those game's cutscenes.
This guy don't know what is time anime. You can't make a good story without pauses for dialogues and dramatic moment. Even kogure's 3 point shot took entire high-school memories before he shoot it.
The Kyuubi attack on the leaf really makes NO sense. There was no motivation behind it for this Madara, it actively sabotaged his plans and it gained him nothing. It was just one of those things that was written in for the plot to happen.
Why Obito didn't use Izanagi to win the fight? Was he still unaware of the technique? This seems kinda off, because, chronologically, he already had a vast collection of sharingan's that he got by helping Itachi in the Uchiha Massacre.
Itachi was a kid so the massacre hadn't taken place yet. Naruto and Sasuke were barely born st this point.

@@SyllasEsthevao technically he can use izanagi for once to prevent or change the reality of the fight, but when it comes to minato it's not easy as he was one of the rarest shinobi and had not been defeated in any 1 on 1 so battle experience matters a lot.

Minato only sealed half of the Kyuubi in Naruto, because he believed it would be more easy for Naruto to control Kurama's chakra. With only half of it, it took him many years to learn to control his own chakra, and Kurama's. It would take him twice as long to achieve what he has become today and he would be much stronger, but he would also be weaker for much longer. At the beginning of Shippuden, Sasuke was much stronger than Naruto, because Naruto wasted a lot of time in his training learning the basics of ninja training.

Your math is off. Naruto just has half of the Kyuubi. Not a quarter. Minato sealed half inside of him and became a jinchuriki on his deathbed. Then he sealed the other half into Naruto which made him into a jinchuriki.

Everyone is saying in the comment section: Why obito didn't use izanagi against Minato or he had way more opportunities to defeat him. Let me tell you some facts, Tobirama the 2nd hokage, created flying raijen to counter sharingan and is proved its the perfect counter. So even if obito tries to show up other things he's got, still he will get beaten, because no one can take hokage's position if he's not strong. Minato was undefeated and is a genius. Not only that, itachi also won many battles with his mind games, it all depends on the utilization of abilities and intelligence. We can't compare sasuke with madara because everyone knows madara had better battle experience and resource utilization + iq. Minato don't have any special powers, still he's a goat because of his battle experience + iq. Also, he performs many jutsus perfectly and execution does matter.

Great reaction as usual. I hate to bring down the mood, but tbh I think this is one of the first BIG moments where I felt the series was dropping the bar. Pain reviving everyone was questionable, but this was REALLY questionable. I know, it's all very touching, and nice to see Naruto happy, nice to see him meet his parents and get closure...but, come on fam. His parents were stabbed through the chest with a fang, and as the bled out they had time to say their goodbyes to baby Naruto, and giving him some final blessing "find a good woman like your mother," like...this is too stupid, I just can't take this shit seriously rn. They REALLY wanted Naruto to be the chosen hero destined for greatness, but at what cost? Maybe I'm just a terrible human being with no heart, but I couldn't wait for this backstory to be over, to get back to the characters I care about.
