Kisame earns my respect, he is the most loyal ninja of all, he decided to do that, so as not to betray his organization, he always lived with the intention of protecting his village, Fuguki,(the one who previously had Samehada) gave information to the enemy about the village, kisame did not tolerate betrayal, he always lived a lie, but itachi, and akatsuki, was his home, and he protected at all costs, kisame, my respects, you are one of my favorites. 🦈🌊👊
the mizukage is the short guy, yagura. the previous owner of samehada is a member of the seven swordsmen of the mist, fuguki.

I think when guy was punching and causing flames to come out it's cuz he was punching so fast that the friction was causing the flames. But i might be wrong on that

Might Guy didnt remember kisame first time in Sasori's arc because Akatsuki were using different body's to transform into kisame and itachi - Guy can feel body presence so he cant mistaken its another person (not a kisame he fight before). At least how i understand this...
Kisame is the best ninjutsu user in Naruto who doesn't use external power. His final jutsu against Guy absorbs chakra and gets bigger, meaning not even Susano'o or tailed beast forms would have been able to stop it. Guy, the best taijutsu user of all time, was literally the only person alive with a hard counter to that move. This episode proves that Kisame and Guy have no equals and that they are the true pinnacles of shinobi strength. All other characters stronger than them are only stronger because of external powers or the luck of being born with broken bloodline abilities.
Samehada is more external power than any kekkai genkai

Wasn't a fan of the backstory in the last one, but THIS was dope. I didn't know that what I needed in my life was Kisame backstory. He murdered his own comrades (including his potential gf, who died at his hands, saying "it must be hard, living like that") to ensure that top secret intel would not be stolen by the enemy. Fitting that in his final moments, he fed his body to his sharks to ensure his top secret intel would not be stolen by the enemy. He was a shark who ate his comrades, and he died as shark bait, feeding his "comrades." Say what you will, but this dude was a gangster.
15:47 You really get the feeling that A) Kisame truly didn't bear any malice towards his comrades, especially seeing how quickly and painlessly he killed his female comrade, and B) Kisame REALLY hates his job, I mean; it shows two separate flashbacks of his orders to not let any of his comrades get captured *no matter the cost*

Actually that's something I never thought about, but Kisame could have got in a big shark and the release the summoning jutsu to escape just like Sasuke did vs Deidara.
I'm pretty sure the sharks are not summoned through summoning jutsu they are actually created with chakra.
