This is probably my fav fight in all of Naruto because is the only ONLY ever fight where I truly feel that the rinnegan was used to its fullest potential. Like, an entity with all that power in one body and being able to use them simultaneously is just the most broken shit ever
Kishimoto realized that it was too broken for future Rinnegan users to use all abilities at once on top of their own powers, so he just made them stop using half of the abilities
Regardless who is more powerfull, Itachi is one of the best characters I ever saw in any kind of fiction!

Some people say That alive Itachi at some point was healthy but That's Not true at all and If he was he wouldnt beat Pain because That would be kid Itachi The Anbu Itachi. The only version we seen him like 100% is prime Itachi (Edo Itachi), where he doesnt have drawbacks for using his eyes.

Edo Nagato was being controlled by Kabuto, someone that don't know the full potential and abilities of Nagato. If Edo Nagato has complete control of his own body, he would react much faster and use whatever ability he has on his arsenal. Considering he has unlimited chakra at that point, he would be spamming chibaku tensei all over the place .

Koto Amatsukami works like Lelouch's Geass of Absolute Obedience. It is more than genjutsu and illusion, he downright brainwashes you to do his bidding. Like planting an inception into your head to make you behave a certain way, all the while letting you think you are doing it from your own volition. It is a frighteningly powerful Mangekyo Sharingan ability, and the very reason Shisui was taken out by Danzo early on. Danzo was scared of falling under the influence of Koto Amatsukami and attacked Shisui out of fear, while preaching stuff like for the sake of the village and all that rubbish like a hypocrite. Danzo is one of the few that deserves absolutely no sympathy for the amount of damage and misery he had caused, with the other one being Black Zetsu.
Yeah that's one of the top of the list powers I would want if the uses were unlimited or charge time was significantly lower.

what I will say is this part always confused me did itachi place himself under a genjutsu or was it kabuto that was placed under it. It's an ability to control someone so is he controlling himself with the default of protect the village which would then give him back control
He used Shisui's eye to place HIMSELF in a genjutsu that would cause him to protect the leaf, the result of that genjutsu clashes against Kabuto's control and broke it, allowing him to move of his won free will though still undead, Kabuto's hold on itachi itself in terms of summoning also broke too so itachi was a free walking undead
He programmed the eye to react to his sharingan. He assumed Sasuke would have his eyes and Naruto would then end up using kotoamatsukami on Sasuke. It was coincidence that Itachi used them on himself.
So Naruto has a fox demon, crow and toad inside him, guess he can't be judging Shino 😂..

Yes he 100% could , not because he’s inherently stronger which he’s not , but simply because Kishimoto wrote itachi’s powers so poorly when it comes to balancing their potential and limits that if kishimoto wanted to he could have itachi solo or at least hold his own against most characters we’ve seen in the show so far . You’re welcome to disagree but there’s no denying that itachi’s abilities in theory were written very poorly and most of the limits that “balanced” him when he was alive (stamina and his sickness) are no longer a limitation now he’s Edo
U are wrong...Dont bring Kishimoto :D Itachi has no jutsu to work against Nagato...Genjutsu wont work bcs of perfect chakra control , amaterasu wont work bcs of shinra tensei , all fire style can be absorbed , Susanoo is weaker than Kyuubi Mode (naruto had to hold back against Sasuke(with beast chakra absorbed!) bcs he didnt want to kill him , kyuubi broke chibaku tensei but remember , Nagato was almost dead when he used it and totaly tired , susanoo was last stand technique for ITachi bcs of causing blindness...Prime Nagato wont even sweat against Itachi , Uzumaki chakra reserves...Nagato could do MUCH BIGGER AND STRONGER chibaku tensei and itachi wont destroy it with this susanoo juutsu. @@TheElalex01 my friend you definitely need to re-read how itachi was written , we are talking of edo-tensei itachi which has no physical limitation to how much he can use his power , he was able to blind all of Nagato’s invocations using the rinnegan’s blind spot . Not only that but he could use Susanoo permanently which in case you forgot has this little thing called Yata mirror capable of repelling all physical attacks therefore nagato simply has no jutsu with physical properties that can surpass that no only that but he can’t even get close to itachi without risking being sealed by the totsuka blade. So in the best of cases this ends in a stalemate , you’re more than welcome to keep arguing with a wall but there’s no denying itachi’s abilities were poorly written when it comes to balance. Yes, Itachi was an important person in defeating Nagato. Without him, Naruto and Bee would have lost. Now, do you know whose role is more important right now?
The thing that the anime doesnt tell you is that Shisui was Poisoned by Yoji Aburame a member of Shinos Clan using a special type of insect to poison Shisui before Danzo killed him.(So if he didnt kill himself he would have died from the Poison anyway).
