- NARUTO VS REANIMATED ITACHI! Naruto Shippuden REACTION: Episode 298, 299. This Naruto Shippuden Reaction Naruto and Killer Bee confronted reanimated Itachi and Nagato and fought them! Itachi and Nagato scuffled with Naruto and Bee, however, things are looking rough for bee and Naruto. That's when Itachi used his Mangekyou Amaterasu, which responded to the CROW INSIDE OF NARUTO! Itachi planted a crow inside of Naruto, which responded to Itachi's Mangekyou, revealing Itachi's master plan.
Itachi planted Shisui's eye in the crow that he made Naruto swallow, which effectively puts them under a genjutsu making them protect the leaf village. This was meant to be used against Sasuke, who would've taken Itachi's eyes and used his Mangekyou against Naruto, but the plan was revealed a little too early and was used on Itachi. BUT this is really good because Shisui's eye put Itachi under the genjutsu, effectively freeing him from Kabuto's reanimation Jutsu. Itachi, Killer Bee, and Naruto fight Nagato, and seal him using Itachi's Susano'o's Totsuka blade! :)

The dude would have been fucked by Chibaku Tensei if Naruto and Killer Bee weren't there. He specifically stated that *all three of them must* unleash their most powerful long-range attack. He may have figured out how to cancel the jutsu out but Itachi alone lacks the firepower to achieve that.
Int he beginning Itachi had time to observe while Naruto and Killer Bee got captured by Nagato. Comming to the conclusion that the eyes from the summonings are linked to him isn't a godlike feat after seeing they traced Killer Bee's movement and Nagato captured him without looking.

Actually, the Genjutsu in Sishui's eye is to "Protect the Hidden Leaf",
Originally, Itachi planted the Genjutsu on Sishui's eye to respond to His Mangekyou, if someday Sasuke planted his eyes to gain the eternal Mangekyou and Fight Naruto.
If Sasuke Uses The Eternal Mangekyou against Naruto, the Genjutsu in Sishui's eyes will cast a genjutsu on Sasuke, so then Sasuke Will Protect The Hidden Leaf.
In short, Itachi gives Naruto the crow, so if someday he fights against Sasuke, Sasuke will be the protector of the hidden leaf, and lost the hatred he has on the hidden leaves
But in this context, the Genjutsu to Protect the hidden leaf means that itachi had to be released from Kabuto's Control.

EXCEPT these two, Itachi and Nagato, practically become stronger because of reanimation:
Alive Itachi has Uchiha-style low durability, limited chakra, sickness and limited mangekyou uses before going blind. Yet reanimated Itachi has infinite chakra, infinite durability, , unlimited mangekyou uses (similar to eternal mangekyou). So he's actually enhanced.
Reanimated Nagato is stronger than 6 path of pain since he got all 6 abilities and healthy body. the reason why sage mode naruto could fight pain was that he could utilize each ability's weakness to defeat each path of pain 1 by 1. Whenever 1 path of pain died, they lost 1 ability and grew significantly weaker. Yet All six powers inside reanimated nagato, no significant weakness revealed and he is literally unbeatable, a GOD in 1v1 battle.

Remember that early in this episode, Itachi said that Shisui actually faked his death and disappeared after giving Itachi the mangekyou, who took the blame for Shisuis alleged death? Everything else except that information regarding Shisui's existence is a spoiler right now.

Had Kabuto kept Itachi unreanimated, the war would have been over lol. Nagato would've captured the 8 and 9 tails. And bam, Madara gets the 10 tails and his ultimate genjutsu.
Actually, to show Itachi as epic they nerfed Naruto and Killer bee.
For instance, Itachi was able to block naruto's attacks. However, In sage mode, sixth pain was thrown away whenever naruto punched/kicked him. It's safe to say that naruto in his kyubi mode could easily kick the hell out of both nagato and itachi (even if they blocked it).
This is not to say that Nagato isn't strong. But at the same time, he probably won't be able to defeat both bee and naruto.

Naruto and Bee had no way of destroying that meteor together. Itachi was their savior. Also, your argument about Naruto's strength is just absurd. The Pains were all meant to be pieces of one larger entity hence the different power types. Nagato had all those powers. The bodies were easily considered plastic robots with incredible jutsu. Jiraya's rasengans were obliterating some Pain bodies easily. And now think of of the fight 16 years ago in the show, the Minato vs "Madara" fight. Clearly as shown, Madara took a hit from a rasengan, and what happened? Did his body just shut down, adding on the fact he was caught off guard? So with that said, let's now say Nagato had approximately the same durability. Then how the hack does a rasengan of any type work? Let alone punches and kicks? Bee and Naruto both were caught and almost had their 8 and 9 tails extracted had it not been for Itachi. There is no defending the fact that had Itachi not been there, Naruto and Bee would have survived and won.

This here answers the question who is stronger between Itachi and Nagato. Itachi had no problems to hurt and seal him he's too OP with his Susano which is stated by Black Zetsu to be completely invincible. As a Edo he can use it continuous without side efffects meaning he is pratically untouchable.

Koto Amatsukami is considered the most powerful genjutsu because it overwrites persons brain. It can alter or influence victims reality, experiences and memories, so you cannot break free of this jutsu like normal genjutsu and it's without victim even realising he's under control. You could just cast this jutsu on someone and literally tell them to kill themselves and they would do it.
People usually forget that Itachi isn't simply a ninjutsu/genjutsu fighter. This fight proves that he's an excellent taijutsu fighter as well

When Nagato tells Naruto to pull him away, he means to separate him from Itachi, as he cannot move on his own (due to the injury his legs received thanks to Hanzo), then after summoning and saying "Or maybe I can..." No Itachi is still being reanimated, he is just not being under Kabuto control. So he is still can be release from jutsu. Also, no shisui is death, Itachi is just going to stop Kabuto, like he said at the end of the episode.
Also, You should play the Ninja Storm games after you finish the anime. The games also give you some more background info., like in Revolution, it show you how the current members join the Akatsuki, it also show the past members as well.

Dude, Shisui is dead. He killed himself after giving his eye to Itachi. It would have been cool if somehow lived, but that isn't the case. His role in the series was simply to instill the right values into Itachi.
That's a spoiler. The new knowledge we gained from these episodes is that Shisui disappeared after giving Itachi his Sharingan. We do not know at this point in the series if Shisui is alive or not.

Bruh, Shisui is dead. I don't know what Itachi meant by "he faked his death", 'cause Shisui drowned himself in the river right after giving Itachi his eye.
He faked his death before he actually died . Danzo stole his eye after he faked his death.
He meant that Shisui made it look like he lost his eye a different way, so nobody knew itachi got it.
He faked his death to get away from Danzo, gave his eye to Itachi, then committed suicide as protest to the Uchiha's coup.
I know this is a common belief, as seen in this comment section, but this is factually a spoiler. Our current knowledge is that Shisui disappeared after faking his own death and giving Itachi his left eye. That's been stated in episode 298, the first episode of this reaction, by Itachi himself.

Also, Kabuto specifically told Madara that Shisuis corpse was nowhere to be found to Edo Tensei him - this doesn't oppose Itachis statement, because you can't find a corpse of a living human being.

We also know that Kabuto didn't find Shisui's corpse anywhere, which should be easy to acquire in relation to the other Edo Tensei he controls. Especially because everyone who could've theoretically had reason to hide his corpse 1. Didn't have any real reason because both his eyes (the main interest of anyone who would be searching for the corpse, except for Kabuto) were missing and 2. Because the people who would've seen Shisui's corpse as something sacred to their clan were murdered not long after Shisui's disappearance by a certain Uchiha teen.

During the time of sasuke vs itachi sasuke would've been annihilated if itachi really wanted to do that... Just like if it was nagato vs sage mode naruto naruto would've been completely crushed by him if nagato were healthy... They had to nerf them so that they could show how much our protagonists have progressed otherwise I don't see anyone apart from madara and hashi taking on nagato and itachi... Itachi maybe could be rivalled by someone but nagato stomps

Thats factually wrong, and a spoiler aswell. I'd say you're the one who should rewatch episode 298 yourself. Itachi stated that Shisui did these things in this exact order: He faked his own death, gave Itachi his mangekyou, and disappeared after. We therefore do not know if Shisui is alive or not. I mean, it's been a few years lore-wise since that incident. He might've died, or he might still live. Anything more than that is spoiler.
So guys, i just watched a video on CZcams where this person was saying that naruto is trash and the ones who watch it deserve to die. The series as a whole is a piece of shit and other hateful comments. Im a very big fan of naruto and that video literally made me cry. But this reaction lightened my mood. Nagato is a whole unit. If he hadn't been sealed he would have been a problem
