- Take a look at what I think is the best DIY ARB style awning option for overlanding, off-roading, or general use that the average person can build at home.
I was looking for inspiration to make an awning out of a tarp and electrical conduit, I had the idea in my head and wanted to see if anyone else had made one. I found this video • DIY Truck Awning - Und... by Trail Benders Overland that was almost what I wanted.
I took inspiration, made a few modifications and have something I am super happy with. Thanks Trail Benders Overland.

This looks like a great build. I don't know how you attached it to your rack though.
It's attached with three stiff 6" L brackets attached to my DIY rack. The rack is made of super strut which is both very strong and easy to attach other items to.

I'll see what I can do. One tip if I don't get a video out. In the ends of each pipe that a bolt goes through, make sure to fit a solid rod inside the EMT so you don't crush the tube.
@@iandoesitthis is the video everyone is looking for! - YES we need a build vid/parts etc… we must have looked at over 100 builds and this is ideal.
