DIY Overland Camping Trailer Tour - Teardrop or Sqauredrop Style
Tour of my DIY Overlanding Camper Trailer. It's custom teardrop / squaredrop style. I built this in July and August of 2016 and it's still going strong, never had any problems other than with the springs. It gets beat, abused, and loved. I highly suggest making one if you think you can do it. Good excuse to buy more tools...
The trailer frame was not made by me, I did not have a welder at the time, or a place to build it. The frame was made by TrailerMan trailers in Abbotsford BC, Canada. They did a fantastic job, exactly to my specs. Highly recommended.

ATSafePro Tire Deflator Demo and Review

This tire deflator is much like the ARB tire deflator but at a reduced cost. I bought one to try and so far find it to be a great tool. Hope it holds up. The one I purchased. amzn.to/3jC49sR These are most commonly used for off-roading as it is beneficial to air down your tires while 4x4ing. Please Subscribe if you enjoyed the video. DIY Covers for Milkcrates
zhlédnutí 114Před 2 lety
We use milk crates with great success for our off-road overland camper. In this video I'll show you how to make a DIY custom cover for them. I built this expedition trailer about 6 years ago and we've always used milk crates on the outside to store items. We can easily bungee the cargo in, they are inexpensive, durable, and hold Reliance Aqua-Tainers and 20lb propane tanks perfectly. Amazon aff...
How to wrap or coil rope, cordage, wires, cables, etc. Tangle Free

The best way I have found to quickly wrap or coil small cordage for a tangle free finish, from electrical cords, paracord, and anything else you need to wrap up that can fit in your hand. Perfect for camping when it's time to put away your tarp guy lines.
Is this the best DIY Awning? Under $80

Take a look at what I think is the best DIY ARB style awning option for overlanding, off-roading, or general use that the average person can build at home. I was looking for inspiration to make an awning out of a tarp and electrical conduit, I had the idea in my head and wanted to see if anyone else had made one. So I used your method and it came right out. What I didn’t realize is that the rubber seal on the valve and dry rotted and broke off in the connection point. Trying for 30 minutes to get the new valve in frustrated the hell out of me, until I looked at the old one and the new valve side by side and noticed half of the “rubber” grommet was missing. I was able to unseat it with a set of picks. What came out was hard plastic. After that, it was a snap to insert the new valve. Just something for future PCV valve changers to consider.

Does that black housing it sits in come out easier? So instead of trying to pry up that pcv, does that housing spin out or anything or is it snapped into position as well? Not sure why they didn't design that with threads to spin in and out easier than prying it up.. Ah well, there are so many issues on these jeeps and dumb design choices I guess it doesn't surprise me anymore.

Hey great video. Super helpful but On all four tires I couldn’t get the longer rod to screw back in. It just didn’t seem to work no matter how I tried. In the end I just pushed the main piece in to stop the airing down and unscrewed it from the valve. Didn’t hear any hissing or pressure loss during this. The valve stems all appeared to be settled back in their seat so to speak. Don’t know if you know what I was doing wrong though?
