Guest bio: Tulsi Gabbard is a politician, veteran, and author of For Love of Country.
Tulsi Gabbard: world renowned nuclear arsenal and war strategy expert. Second only to Oppenheimer in her knowledge of nuclear fusion and the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the theory of deterrence.
Well, I mean, that’s better than the Q clearance 1980’s British Redbook, which you can freely read now…
That points out civilians after such an attack, “represent a risk to national security and for the potential spread of disease by contamination”
Wow you’re really going to delete a comment with nothing offensive in it. How bad is your censorship these days CZcams
Zelensky a great leder ... ok is that when he is not going around in womans cloting or buying expensive homes all around with western money or kills his own people who don't want to die for that coke head while serving nazi murderers ? all respect gone f this podcast.
You can not avoid WW3.therefore, nuclear war be followed .because we had WWI and WWII .
The problem is the ones pushing war the hardest have never had to face its consequences
whats the alternative? Without a military state theres no army and without an army the area is getting invaded by a state WITH an army. In other words, without careless leadership as a country youre at a major disadvantage to a country who has it and wont survive for long. Same for nukes, you cant survive without them
but she supports israel and invasion of gaza. 🤔
They also believe they never will have to face the consequences of what they're doing.
Even they will feel the consequence if it becomes nuclear winter.

In under ground bunkers they breed while in muddy fields we bleed. Old men start wars. Young men die in wars.
Old men that fought in wars don't generally start wars... Politicians are generally those that wouldn't stick their head above a parapet for any reason!!!
It's sad that all human beings need is shelter from storms and a source of food. Yet we find ourselves using billion dollar technology to kill eachother for some reason. Truly a sheep thats lost its way.
Yesss
Without God, we don’t have a way. A lesson most of us will learn a little too late unfortunately.
Yeah it's a game of thrones. We must fight to keep our plots of land. Then before you know it, we must fight to keep our 7 kingdoms together.
Thats naive, shelter from storms and source of food is definitely not enough. How about mating? People are born with unfair differences, this creates a breeding ground for envy (both in mating situations and outside it). Also self realization? Anxiety and security?
There will always be a reason to fight. You need wise people leading nations through these things.
Her description about the PSA announcement sounds like something right out of 1984.
Reflecting on Tulsi Gabbard's comments, it strikes me that the real battlefront is not between nations, but within the corridors of power where decisions are swayed by the military-industrial complex. How do we reclaim the narrative for peace in such a landscape?
Quoting a popular movie, "In war, there are no winners, only widows."
Paraphrasing that "In nuclear war, there are no widows either."
war doesnt prove who was right, only who is left
False. More frightening than fiction is nuclear war is winnable. Let that sink in versus the propaganda of nuclear winter/armageddon.
As a geopolitical strategist, it's my personal belief that designer biological weapons are far more likely than nuclear. Lower bar for entry, less likely for retaliation, little infrastructure damage, more complete annihilation of adversarial population etc.
anyone else fed up with all the doom and gloom?
I find myself falling into it more and more these days
Get ready because there's more to come
This is just the tip of the iceberg
Nothing is going back to normal
It is only what you make it. Any of us can retreat into the woods, and leave this world of social contracts.
Yes. It’s a conditioning lever for people to inhibit their ability to discern fear from fact. It’s an illusion for a bigger game to extrapolate the middle class of individuality and being wholly adherent to any arm of government for their safety. A full endowment into government is the real motive here. It’s the democratic agenda, in which is lobbied and fundraised heavily by oligarchy corporations, to render the middle class completely helpless to be in control of their lives. Think about it. Even though lex says “it’s set up to where the humans involved can’t think”. Let’s be truthful. Every human with a conscience and an IQ over 100 knows the perils of a nuclear holocaust. Hiroshima and Nagosaki are still within a hundred years ago. We all know the danger of nuclear war. Look at the Cuban missile crises. Everyone that makes these devices knows full well that there’s no winner in nuclear war. It’s the end of everything. And let’s be truthful too, it’s not just our species that’s watching this, if you at all believe in David Grusch, there will be an intervention from inter dimensional beings. So let’s be Frank, this has nothing to do with the “what if” of nuclear war. This is propagandist nonsense to render us fearful sheep and fully endow our responsibilities to someone else doing everything for us.
That’s the truth. In my opinion.
Just live every day as if it was your last.. anything could happen with these people running the show!
Another one... "Vasily Aleksandrovich Arkhipov was a Soviet Naval officer who is known for preventing a Soviet nuclear torpedo launch during the Cuban Missile Crisis on October 27, 1962. The course of events that would have followed such a launch cannot be known, but various speculations have been advanced, up to and including global thermonuclear war."
War is a stubborn illusion that separates you from this construct

They aren't that great of weapons to use in war because of the longterm radiation.
@@aaronpannell6401 The radiation from a nuclear detonation dissipates very quickly. Notice that people were living in and repairing Hiroshima and Nagasaki within weeks of the detonations, and today both are thriving cities with no noticeable cancer /birth-defects etc increase
@craigsurette3438 I didn't realize that. You are right.
@@revelationperception5370 Not really, at least not from an air burst.
Quotes from a website discussing the radiological impacts of Nagasaki
"Roughly 80% of all residual radiation was emitted within 24 hours. Research has indicated that 24 hours after the bombing the quantity of residual radiation a person would receive at the hypocenter would be 1/1000th of the quantity received immediately following the explosion. A week later, it would be 1/1,000,000th."
A ground burst would drive a lot more particulates up into the air and create more fallout which will be hotter for longer, but not for that much longer , and thus ground bursts wont be used, because no one who wants to occupy a place will want to "salt the earth" of their desired targets that way.
@@craigsurette3438 Wrong, most initial targets WILL be hit by ground bursts, because they are required to take out hardened targets and runways, ergo, many ground bursts will happen :(

He said following the momentum I hear group think.
We need to stay out of major wars, but we need to keep our troops in combat learning, evolving, staying active, staying sharp, and I think the only way to really do that without any major conflicts and shifts is to help our allies with the smaller skill conflicts such as fighting, rebel groups, etc. we could be doing regular combat rotations to Africa to Asia Pacific Islands, and keep our troops fighting and learning, keeping our weapon testing going and gaining live training

Have you read the book “command and control”?
The only winning move is not to play.
In theory that's nice. But you have one side invading and absorbing land into its empire. Then it says if you intervene we feel threatened and it will be nuclear war. At some point we have to put the absolute line in the sand. At some point we have to say give us, Western society, liberty or give us death. We are at war with these authoritative regimes.
In fairness it loomed large from the early fifties to around 1989 and it was a daily reality for everyone living in the world at the time but you just got on with life regardless.....

I’ve seen the most peaceful man turned to blind rage during war. There is no “evolving” past war.
Please ask some follow up questions Lex. Tulsi mentioned cavalier rhetoric about nuclear weapons from leaders. Who? There is only one U.S. leader that I know of who threatened a nuclear armed nation by saying “I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!” Additionally, this statement was made on Twitter.
How do we go from 6 minutes of time to counter launch the nukes. To thoughtfulness and take some time to think it through?
The question was you have 6 minutes. What do you do?
Could you see Biden launching a nuke in 6 minutes 😂
@@chrisbrowning550 Yes I could. he would know who to call and what to ask and make a rational decision as best could be made given the situation. I could also see Trump negotiating for 60 minutes to try and stop it. While we are getting hit with nukes.
@@djphat1736 😂
@@chrisbrowning550just remember. Trump spent months trying to convince everyone that COVID would just go away in the summer. And you could drink cleaning chemicals to get rid of it.
the obligation of the president is to do what best for the us and save as many as possible however he can. you cannot debate in 6 minutes which is why it must be decided by the president. also the russian missles have shorten that window. it’s much less than 6min.
Nuclear countries have made pacts not to fire weapons until its 100% confirmed that another country fired nuclear weapons first. Like eyes on the ground confirmation. Why do they only have 6 mins? The US could launch nukes days later and it would still cause just as much destruction to the other country that fired first. It doesn't make sense.
An engineer for Lockheed Martin was telling me if a nuclear war broke out that US could shut it down in 24 hours. We have tech and abilities that are forwardly deployed everywhere for that exact scenario.
@user-jd5oq9rn8p yea and we have forward deployed defense systems in Japan, Alaska and nato countries.
This is why every effort has been made to prevent direct NATO Russia conventional conflict over the last nearly 80 years, and I'd add to that, France, keeping their ambitions conscious of that risk. We can't be pushovers, but we also shouldn't be stupid, and increase the risk by escalation that isn't necessary. I think, efforts to further reduce the global stockpiles should be continued so that the number of these weapons available are low enough that even in an exchange, there is a chance. Also, efforts to reach some kind of cease fire with Russia, are worth pursuing, even if Ukraine doesn't get every inch of territory back. If you defeat the Russian army, one possible outcome could be the use of nukes. Civilization is bigger than any of our feelings or conflicts, it's worth keeping. Why is it hard to speak up? Look into social psychology, how groups behave versus individuals, this is why it's so dangerous to let it get too close.
Tony Robbins is the only person in the world I would trust to advise the president during those 6 minutes.
Jordan Peterson
@@stereofidelic67 I love Jordan Peterson and he has a great interview on the tony Robbins podcast - however Jordan would agree that you cannot compete with the track record of Tony. You should be asking your guests how we prevent Russia from starting a nuclear war. Every implication is that we should somehow prevent our government from responding to an attack. If guests have a suggestion to prevent Russia from launching an attack, other than deterrence by our capabilities, we should all know of that suggestion-no one has suggested another approach.
Nuclear deterrence has worked for about 75 years.
Plus nuclear countries have made pacts not to fire until they have eyes on the ground confirmation that the other country has used them.
MAD has worked fkr 75 years.
Well, Putin did tell how to prevent the start of nuclear war according to Russian war doctrine. Yes, there is a level of distrust, and that is understandable, but so far it is look like a case - until there is no threat to the Russia's existence, the country will not use the nuclear weapons. So, if we take this as a fair statement, the answer is on the surface :)
For now, nuclear detterence works, so let's see how it will unfold. I have low hopes for politicians on both West and East, to be fair.
@MikhailAksenovV except Putin lies. If he was going to use nukes he would have to pull his troops away from the battle field, get them special nuclear suits for when the radiation blows there way. He he is just hot air.
Stirring up old fears about nuclear war , with an implication of "dont make Russia angry" is the best propaganda weapon Russia has. That is why it s always framed to English speaking audiences , that we should prevent this at all costs by not poking the Bear.

Austin Powers “ 😨”
A lot of people within the waring factions are religious so and Armageddon type of war is possible. But its really hard for it to happen, many things hve to go wrong a lot of things have to go wrong for it to happen.

I think it’s naive to think everyone in the room decision making is war mongering or no contrarian exists …also it’s a paradox to think that an “independent thinker” would be better as that individual may be ignorant of impact nuclear decisioning
Strange that I hadn’t heard of this bizarre Public service announcement. Probably would be a good idea to see if Tulsi knows what she’s talking about here. But let’s assume that what she said was accurate. There’s a couple parts to it. Go inside and stay inside is correct. You really can improve your survival dramatically by doing that. Especially if the strike is a Hiroshima sized bomb as would be used in a terrorist attack or a single war head, strike as might be the case within an attack from North Korea. A lot of people think that it’s silly to even bother to prepare, but those people are often assuming a circa 1983 Cold War style all out nuclear exchange between Russia and the United States. in that scenario, the devastation with the severe, almost nothing you did would really matter very much. But that is the least likely type of nuclear war by far. It would probably be worthwhile for people to understand what nuclear weapons do, and what the effects are. If there were a nuclear detonation, especially if it were an isolated event, your decisions under immense pressurewould make a big difference when it comes to the likelihood of survival.
The issues are much deeper than simply having a person with courage to make the right decision. The much larger problem is that we have a corrupt, dysfunctional political system that will not allow any ,even semi-decent people that care more about their constituents than themselves and the donor class that controls them, to be elected to significant positions of power. With a population of more than 300 million and look at the selection of people that we must choose from? We are given the illusion of democracy, the real one left America a long time ago. Eisenhower warned the country long time ago...but that warning was in vain. The political elite is taking the country to a very, very dark place. Just look at Lindsey Graham - any country that has senators like this is in serious trouble. We are moving from one disaster to another - Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yugoslavia, Ukraine and now there is a strong chance we'll be thrown into a Middle East war with Iran. Israel pretty much controls our Senate so most likely we will do their bidding and the sh*t will hit, yet again, the proverbial fan.
And after all those disastrous foreign policy mistakes that cost our country dearly has there been any accountability?
So, unless something changes in how our system works rest assured we will be having the same issues and debates for a long, long time. And I would not hold my breath for anything to change. I think it is too late for that to happen or if it happens it will be of cataclysmic scale. I am afraid our country has a cancer in its body and it has metastasized, killing it slowly but surely.
And Lex, I like you, I really do - you are a decent human being with a genuine desire to help and serve people. But Zelensky is not a hero, He did not stay in Kiev because he was brave. And he did not make the bold, contrarian decision that is in interest of Ukraine. He stayed in Kiev because he knew the Russians wanted to negotiate and were not about to attack Kiev. You don't have to believe me - search for what the then Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett said at the time about the situation and how Zelensky sought assurances that Putin will not attack. Naftali Bennett made a genuine attempt at mediating at the time.
And in March 2022 it almost looked like war could be avoided. The two countries met in Istanbul and reached an agreement. Then Boris Johnson arrived and this is where Zelensky should have taken a stand and make a bold, contrarian decision, instead of succumbing to pressure from us. Ukraine would have kept its territorial integrity and major bloodshed would have been avoided. I am afraid, history will not look kindly at Zelensky - more than half a million people dead, god knows how many wounded, tens of millions refugees likely never to return, the country's infrastructure in ruins and its very existence now at stake. So hero is the last thing I would call Zelensky.
Well said, not enough people looking at the big picture here.
It’s coming.
It’s coming like hell.

It's not a matter of courage. It's a matter of 6 minutes. If there are multiple reliable systems saying there are a large number of inbound missiles to the US (and potentially all the allies) then there isn't much of a choice to make. At least you cannot say that you would wear a massive first strike since that might actually provoke one.
A single inbound missile to a US city, yes there are options. And I'd strongly suggest there are playbooks for almost every scenario. Ditto a single nuke on an allied city.
playbooks in an automatic machine-like sequence because 6 minutes isn't enough time for a courageous leader to make a huge decision for all of the people he represents.
What you the US citizen want him (her) to do in those 6 minutes. decide not to strike back? has anyone done a survey. because I think most people would say strike back.
What is really important is what happens before all that. It was the US Star Wars, shoot down the missiles that forced Russian to go to hypersonic glide and cruise missiles.
Putin explained this in some detail. A missile intercept program would cost way more than Russian could afford. So, they went with intercept evasion rather than a missile intercept system.
Star wars was a US choice. So was Trump pulling out of the "Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty". You can only control what your country does. not what other do even if they were not complying. You cannot control Russian or China except to influence them. Is not complying to the "Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty" really going to make a difference in those 6 minutes. I think not.
