I’ve only put one round through it and have had it filled for 24 hours. czcams.com/users/postUgkxuuTOBP7pzC6RDNNaxoSjjV4-7jpsUjXX No audible or visible leaks so far. It’s definitely loud. I’m impressed with the look, and I have to say that I’ve been avoiding this rifle because of the looks. It feels great to hold and it’s light enough to carry. It looks much different in person. I chose to purchase this one because it checked all the boxes for what I intend for it, minus the look. I’m very happy with this air rifle

I bought one of these & it was the best $99 I've spent in awhile! Very happy with my new Benjamin Prowler .22 pellet gun. Mine came with a silenced barrel. You barely here the air come out but you damn sure hear the power behind the pellet as it rips through whatever I'm shooting at! Very impressive air rifle for $99!!! Worth every penny!!! Crossman Piranha .22 pellets are true rippers! I've had several cow birds get literally ripped in two pieces! This air rifle is all I need on the ranch for the smaller critters.
I don't want to shoot my 30-06 to kill squirrels. I did hit one with my 45ACP recently. I'm still looking for the squirrel!

@@ppdangler I went to the store to only look at .22 pellet guns. I have several CO2 BB pistols & 177 rifles. I was just gonna look. They had 3 rifles on the shelf. Not including the pink Daisy air guns!
There was a Ruger .22, Benjamin Prowler .22 & a 10X from Gamo in 177. The Ruger had a wood stock & a weeny little barrel for a
      22. The 10X was in 177. The Prowler felt like a real gun. It also had a silenced barrel! Box said it shoots 75% quieter than the standard barrel. WOW! They got it right with this silenced barrel!
Its heavier than my everyday shooter, my Remington LR rim fire .22. I liked the Prowler.
I really like the quiet "Thunk" then you here the pellet hitting in the back ground after ripping a bird in half! I came home with one of the BEST break barrel .22 air rifles I've ever owned! The Benjamin Prowler!
You should play around with some of the fully automatic BB guns. The only thing I don't like about the fully autos, 20 BB's takes 2 seconds to shoot!
You BETTER have some extra magazines & TONS of CO2!
I live in the middle of my family's 7K acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. My shooting area is my 1000 square ft covered back porch. I can shoot anywhere I point my guns! No neighbors & lots of nuisance critters as targets. I sit out on the back porch with:
      The new .22 Prowler,
      A 10 year old 177 pellet rifle,
      A replica Smith & Wesson M&P CO2 BB pistol.
A Remington rim fire .22 rifle,
      A Remington model 700 in .243,
(For hogs & coyotes. We used to kill 80 to 100 coyotes a year out here. I think they got the message because I rarely see or hear them now days)
      and finally,
      My Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm or 45ACP...
I got into BB & pellet guns when I lived in the big city. You need a shooting range for big guns. I could shoot bb's & pellets in my city homes back yard. It was in Bexar County TX, not in the actual city...
Doesn't matter now, I can shoot whatever & whenever I want on the ranch. In my underwear if I want!
I love being retired & living in the middle of nowhere in my native State. I have two older daughters & they both have their own guns... I love having gun girls!!! I have a video on my channel of my oldest daughters first time to shoot a pistol at the range! She was hooked after that range visit!!!

I just picked up the newest version with the full shroud SBD suppressor. I'm not exactly sure what version of the nitro piston it has, but it spits out lead pretty hard.
It seems a bit loud, definitely louder than your gun, but I haven't shot it enough to break it in... I'm hoping it gets a little more muffled.
The gun feels like it's way more expensive than $100 new (refurbs are a no brainier)

I took it out of the box, slapped the scope on and man...after about 10 shots I was killing 240z Heineken tall boy's with ease at 30 yards. For all those that complain about the scope, all I can say is I had no issues with this scope. Maybe because of my Army marksmanship day's. It's a great gun and won't dent your wallet.

Love this air rifle, like others said, about $100 at Walmart. I've only shot the Crossman hollow points and the Piranha ammo through it, but the velocity and damage of the Piranha is much better, if you're using it for varmints and the like ( or anything really to be honest) I wouldn't bother with the hollow point, and just stick to the Piranha if you can. I see some complaints about the Center Point scope, but i feel like the MAXIMUM ethical kill range is about 50 yards, and even then you would need to be a competent shot; my scope seems fine at this distance and I have no trouble hitting bullseye with it. Wouldn't attempt a 50 yard shot on anything living with the hollow points though, they drop visibly through the scope a few feet at that distance. The rifle weight is heavy enough for good dampening, and light enough to feel like a pellet gun or .22. I did have to cock it for my 12 year old nephew though. All around great pellet rifle, if you're thinking about it I recommend buying it. Also the length of pull is a bit short, and I'm not at all a big guy.

When mounting a scope on a breakbarrel, because of the sharp, but not long, recoil, mount a third scope mount lower section behind the back scope mount. Sometimes the anchor bolt thru that back (second from front) mount will shear and hold nothing. I've had the third mount hold without problems.
Do not tighten the scope mount top caps past medium torque, or your scope will be bent. Those caps don't losen as the mounts do.
If you weigh yours on an accurate scale, you'll see the Prowler with the scope weighs close to 8.5 pounds. Pyramid Air lists it at 8.7.

I've had this rifle for three years now. I shoot data and cottonmouth snakes with it. All brain shots. Kept the original scope on it for a year with no problems, I replaced it with a large red dot as I rarely shoot last 20 yards. This gun loves anything 14.3 grains. Shoots minute of snake brain groups out to 20 allways. Has been 100% reliable. Not the best trigger but can perform well with practice. I've never cleaned the boreand it doesn't seem to care. The finish still looks good. It was well worth the 98 bucks.

Other than being a pretty heavy pellet gun, I have no complaints after 500+ pellets. Got this (www.amazon.com/UUQ-Tactical-Compact-Rangefinder-Reticle/dp/B01LRPMCRU/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=UUQ+4x32&qid=1560732747&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1 ) scope and it has been very VERY accurate up to 70m for me with Crosman Premier Pointed 14.3 gr.
Edit: Forgot to mention...it would be nice if this pellet gun could take a sling but I guess you get what you pay for.
Edit 2: Take the plastic tip off. Not only is it a cosmetic feature with no purpose other than to look the way it does, it can cause rust.
