I found a .22 Pellet Gun even cheaper than the Crosman Optimus I bought awhile back. So I had to get the Benjamin Prowler, then I put the 2 of them head to head up against each other for an old-fashioned product review. They are a very close comparison, with each gun having perks over the other.

That hole is to lock scope mount in place keeps from sliding with the kick

That hole in guard is for a small screw driver to adjust the trigger at back of trigger. 🤠
