Very nice 4K projector. Maybe with the sound of Disney and Netflix dolby digital surround is selected. I had that issue with the Chromecast on a projector. I had to set it in the settings of the Chromecast to stereo sound or maybe change it from PCM to bitstream.

i finally got a chance to mess with the google tv audio settings and you were right, once i turned off DO NOT USE SURROUND SOUND then the audio started working
