    Finally found a video with a worthy explanation on the whole process of fitting sway bar links. Much appreciated, thank you!

    Best explanation I’ve seen. I would add that, to get as close as possible zero preload on the sway bar, the endlinks should be adjusted with the driver’s full race weight in the driver’s seat.

    Hi, newbie here. In the first part video you mentioned to keep the lengths the same as the oem. But at the very last part of this video, you then readjust to make it neutral. Why can't we just adjust at the end?
    I have a superpro sway bar on my falcon. The oem links sits very close to the control arm. Was thinking of getting a superpro link to get more clearance. Would it help? Thanks.

    Yeah but how do you install them if you can’t get under the car with the wheels loaded?

    Critical question and nobody ever mention, what is most correctly position do you need to align those sway bar? Horizontal or vertical when car is in load position.

    Can you not measure from centrecap to gaurd and when installing loft the suspension and remeasure from centre of wheel hub to gaurd giving the imitation of it being under load to then install and tighten?

    I installed these on a lowered vehicle and originally set the new links to the same as the stock ones, but this caused the sway bar to contact the body when driving so I evenly lengthened both new links to push the bar away from the body and it solved the problem. Is this ok to do?

      That's what I was told to do to correct my rear bar being too close to components when lowered with stock rods. Fitted adjustables and lengthend them by 35mm. My suspension drop was 35mm

    If the end links match the OEM dimensions exactly, could you install them with the suspension in full droop on both sides? if the suspension is in droop then it should be equal on either side, what is it about sitting at ride height that alters the install characteristics other than the uneven distribution of the suspension when planted? Are the nuts on the pins torqued to spec only after lowering to ride height? The order of operation the video is demonstrated in is different than what the installer mentions as proper procedure, mentioning that the pins be torqued on one side in droop and then the other side torqued at ride height along with the jam nuts being locked down at ride height.

    How do I adjust the end links if I have lowering springs? Should I subtract the decrease in height from the end link?

      If the sway bar is not hitting or falling on anything then there is no reason to shorten the link.

    Don't have a lift and even with ramps it's difficult to adjust my end links.. Please help! Can I still properly adjust my end links with my car being up on jack stands.. They are per instruction measured to the oem links and as of right now nothing is tightened down..

    • @SuperProSuspensionParts
      @SuperProSuspensionParts  Před 5 lety

      The links should be adjusted before fitting. It would be harder to adjust if they have been fitted to the vehicle. For further help please call our technical line on +617 3892 9000

    The sway bar links I got from fulcrum cannot be adjusted to sit neutral on a mn Triton. When installed the adjustable thread between the ball ends always sit on a steep angle and looks like a "Z"
