    I was told to stop breaking shuttles; to stop hitting so hard. They kept lifting to me and hitting shots towards my forehand in which I returned with a forehand drive.

      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před rokem

      If you are practicing drive shots no need to use new shuttles so you dont break them easily😁🏸

      It is during a game. Considering the shuttles I bring out costs $1 more per shuttle than what they bring out I should be able to break as many of theirs as I want. 😅 Okay, seriously, mine is much more durable. Mine lasts 2-3 games. Theirs 11 points to 1 game. In the end, they've spent more on shuttles. They keep lifting & feeding my forehand knowing I am an attacking player & then complain I am attacking them. 🤦‍♂️ When I am partner with someone who has weaker defence & offence skills than me, they still insist on smashing at me. 😅 Then they complain I return everything.

    Is it legal to stick up racket for block (basketball style) before opponent has reached the net to hit a return? I'm assuming the only way to stop someone from doing that & being cheeky about it is to hit them with body smashes or swing a cheap racket into their expensive racket. I'd prefer to be able to call "fault" for an illegal play.

      Even positive thinking is something we practice while training. When we are having difficulty in training we need to keep a positive mindset and have solutions in mind😁🏸

    Hi Coach Kennie
    Can you pls tell that what are the weak points/ places in badminton for taller peoples in singles ?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety +2

      In general body shots are harder for taller people but these days many tall players work on that and are better at it. All opponents are still on a case to case basis which is why coaches on the side play an important role in giving tips to their players on court during tournaments😁🏸

      Instead of focusing on the error, think of the correction/ adjustments to make so u won’t make the same mistakes. Focus on your strategies and the constant change that comes with it.😁🏸

    Hi coach! My name is Andre. 13 years old kid. I just want to ask what kind of yonex racquet and what weight of racquet is good for the 13 years old kid like me? Watching here in Toronto 🇨🇦

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety

      Hi Andre! Rackets are personal depending on your style of play. I like placing shots so I prefer light rackets that are easy to maneuver. Smashers like head heavy rackets which aids in stronger smashes. I suggest feeling the racket before purchase😁🏸
