    Soap is the worst thing to use on carpet. Just hot water and if necessary spot apply cleaner in dirty areas. You can use a pump up sprayer for that along with deodorizers. Soap attracts the dirt and the carpet will get dirty faster. Just a tip!

    • @joemama8379
      @joemama8379 Před 2 lety +1

      I read that as well. Someone posted that you should use a sprayer with a mixture before and just use straight hot water in tank. The hotter the better and get all the soap up or it will get dirty again quick

    • @webcrawler3332

      @@joemama8379 Exactly! I learned this trick a looong time ago. If I have someone clean my carpets I tell them no soap just water but usually use ChemDry because they only spot treat and no soaps in water. A little more expensive but well worth it in my opinion

    • @webcrawler3332
      @webcrawler3332 Před 2 lety

      @OneDayAfterAnother You can never get all the soap out of the fibers. So as the carpet dries the soap collects dirt. Do a test next time. Try half your carpet with water only and the other with soap. The soap side will get dirtier way faster than the non soap. Also the soapy carpet will feel crunchy as it dries

    • @webcrawler3332
      @webcrawler3332 Před 2 lety

      @OneDayAfterAnother no you spot clean dirty areas before cleaning with hot or warm water. The water will rinse that area fine because you’re not saturating the spots with a lot of soap. I use chem drys spot cleaner comes in a aerosol can. I think there’s another one in a blue can that says “with oxygenated cleaner” or something to that nature, it’s a slightly foamy product. Sorry can’t remember exact name off top of my head,

It’s supposed to SUCK when you let go of the button is it not?!? All it does is blow out hot air!! I even took the solution ya j off and held the button down (the brushes turn green high they’re the same as a damn vacuum cleaner bristles nothing special AT ALL and it sucks up the solution when you’re holding down the button so I removed the solution tank in hopes it would suck up and not have solution to put out but it makes no difference. The dirty water tank gets full after I go through two solution tanks but it just sucks. And after a few mins it makes this pop noise and the sound is higher and it lets out way more solution!! When you hold down the handle, the water will spray and the roller will begin rolling. It’s best to do this when pulling the device towards you, because the water is sprayed behind the roller. So, if you’re pushing forward and do this, it doesn’t suck up the water that it’s spraying. Therefore I find it best to hold down the button when pulling towards you and release while pushing forwards.
