    the rotovac is known to leave the carpet pretty wet after cleaning. i use the same machine with my carpet cleaning service so to reduce the amount of water left after cleaning with one pass i go back and do a dry pass on my way out.

    Actually the machine and the video are really good. If you follow the step by step there’s no way to get it wrong. Everything was simple and easy and the result was pretty good

    Ive hired one of these today in UK from Homebase. Its soooo loud! Sounds like a pneumatic drill! I phoned up the helpline but they told me that's how it's supposed to sound? I dont think im going to be very popular with my neighbours downstairs... Carpet also quite wet, going to try the second pass technique thanks.

    The trick is just put hot water in it. Not the soapy solution. Just spray the soapy solution on your rug wait 10 or 15 minutes. Then do a wet pass with the rug doctor. Then you go back with a dry pass. That way you're not getting a lot of soap left into it. Woo hoo

      *ARE YOU A TRUMP SUPPORTER?!* O_0
      *THATS ALL WRONG!*
      *Just use a garden pump and spray the area with your formula and THEN go over with this or other machine.* For pet stains, use a solution that eats salt crystals. Otherwise replace the padding of the carpet. *Then let it air dry for 2 hours with only, and ONLY the AC at 70 degrees and/or fans. Opening windows will create mold spores and other living hell in your carpet, m8! ONLY open windows AFTER it dried and then go over it again with a vac.*
      With my advice you will get a full DIY 100% professional result, guaranteed! :)
      Just tell me if youre not satisfied! :)

    hello I just wanted to know how to put back together a Rug Doctor handle that came apart at the seams I need to know what kind of glue or what do you use so that when I use it to pull the machine back over my Rug to clean it with the weight of the water in it and the machine itself will the handle be strong enough to hold and stay together and not come apart again?

    The best way to use this piece of garbage machine is to leave it at the store. I rented one yesterday and it was the worst piece of equipment I've ever used for any purpose. No rotating brushes and all it did was saturate my floor, smear spots and hurt my back. The company that manufacturers this piece of junk should be ashamed of themselves.

    I bought the Rug Doctor Pro X. Same machine as this piece of garbage. If you want to tote bucket and after bucket of water to this joke only to see it stay in the carpet then buy one of these. If you really want to clean your carpet for the same price point then buy a Big Green Commercial by Bissell. If you buy this.. you will regret it with the first pass.
    The drying process made me laugh. "Simply roll the rug doctor out of the room and wait". Yeah... if you have 2 days to wait that is.
    Don't over wet the carpet? You designed the RD to do just THAT. Might as well take a garden hose in the house and have at it then walk away for the same amount of time it takes the RD flood to dry.

    how the fuck do you empty the bottom tank

    • @moedean3342
      @moedean3342 Před 8 lety +2

      +Mathieu Larocque LoL. You don't need to empty the bottom tank, the water is sucked up into the top tank, which is the one you empty. The bottom tank may just be damp, but that dries out on its own.

    • @ohcanadaehguildofguardians9320
      @ohcanadaehguildofguardians9320 Před 8 lety +1

      +Moe Dean I mean if you don't use it all... but I just flipped it upside down and problem solved

    • @moedean3342
      @moedean3342 Před 8 lety +3

      Yes you could go through all that trouble. But the water in the bottom tank is much less than what the top tank can hold. So all you do is run it through until complete. But yea if for some reason you need to empty it out you flip it over. But since you like to do things the hard way, simply drill a hole in the bottom tank. LoL.

      +Mathieu Larocque if you would watch this entire video it actually shows at the end to use the hand tool to spray it out to the sink mate:) - don't need to flip it and hurting your back in the process.
