Fun Fact as a former tattoist it is less painful to tattoo your self than have some else do it as you are concentrating on the art not the pain ,as you have the tattoo gun already you may aswell test it ,also cold vs warm body temp can make a difference ,like and make sure houston sees this 🎉
If you were a real tattooist you wouldn’t be calling it a gun.

Can confirm. Tattooed my daughter's name on myself after getting some basic instruction. Everything was sterile and under supervision. Been told the area I tattooed was considered an extremely painful area but it was actually tolerable. No it wasn't on any intimate area
Try dipping the tattoo needle into capsaicin extract and get a pepper tattoo

Where did you get it tho? I have one on my arm, which wasnt painful at all, and one on my hand that actually did hurt, went too too deep and scarred my hand a little bit
My was basically painless, and no this isn't a facade for showing how manly I am. I got a small one in a not-so-tender spot. The next one though, unfortunately I did a whole sleeve. That sucked
My first one was on my right arm, didn't bother me much luckily

You should do glow-in-the-dark ink and at the end of your video, go in to a dark room and see what masterpiece Mark created

A lot of the experiments that have been conducted, in the name of science, on the channel I could only imagine the pain. I think this one, many people will be able to relate to. I have a lot of tattoos, however I know that Mark is probably much more heavy handed than most tattoo artists as well. Respect as always Houston!

Nice! I have found the shading needles are far less painful than the outline needle. My shoulder was a pretty dead area for bothneedles, but I could tell a big difference on the ink being put on the back of my neck.

I am doing a few blackout tattoos ATM on myself; I am doing a band around my foot/ankle that covers majority of the top of my foot. Solid black, needs multiple sessions to get it dark. Also my wrist is getting a thick/5" band all the way around. Also finished a black out flower design on my girls chest last week, 12"x10"

I'm always impressed by my friends with their armpits tattooed. shins was a hard one for me since the artist working on that piece was a little heavy handed and i could feel like needle hitting the bone.

Fun fact! Reason some parts hurt more is because of how nerves work, the places on the outer part of a person (triceps, elbows, ect.) are naturally more resilient to pain yet parts that won't typically bump stuff (armpits, inner thigh, ect.) are naturally more sensitive.

Use vasolen it helps for ink go in and change the tub the needle and plastic on the wire for box and on the wire to the machine
Another video idea I suggest is to get a tattoo when your drunk and when your are high , see if there is any pain tolerance difference 😂

Love this test. Huston always look forward to your videos, but tattoos hurt worse when you have been getting tatted for hours, and they shade over it. That's what really hurts is after hours if the same spot. Thank you for the data!
